We went in without a booking, on the off chance we'd be able to get a table anyway. We were in luck and were greeted straight away and shown to a table. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The service was prompt and the food was really nice. It was our first visit and we'd definitely be happy to return. We were nice and full when we left.

Came here on Thursday evening while on a short break. Service was swift and friendly, place was clean and tidy, price was reasonable and food was excellent! My wife and I will definitely return on our next visit to Sheffield.

After our first visit to caffe piazza over a year ago, me and the girls make sure to go every few weeks because every time the staff make us feel so welcome and appreciated and is hands down the best food in sheffield, beautiful quality for a price we just can’t say no too! a special shout out to the dishes on the specials board and the BEST tiramisu we’ve ever had!

very disappointed with Caffe Piazza. It is our favourite restaurant in Sheffield, On Saturday we decided to go for a meal. we checked the closing times on the website and it stated closes at 9pm. we arrived at 7.15pm, only to be told 'we are closed' There was tables available. I did say the website states 9pm. and suggested they amend the website to 7pm closing to avoid others being disappointed. Their website also has a contact us email box. But dont waist your time filling it in, all emails are blocked. not very good customer relations.

Went here with my daughter and 3 grandchildren today for valentine's day lunch.been a few times and they are so lovely with the kids the food is gorgeous fresh and piping hot, tried not to leave too much mess behind but with a 1 year old who's just learning the art of throwing stuff,it's a bit of a hard task,🙄🙄they all ate loads and were covered in pasta sauce which is how lunch in an Italian restaurant should be.

First visit to cafe piazza as it was close to the event we had booked at Sheffield cathedral. We received a warm welcome, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and perfect, the best pizza I’ve had for a while. Lovely deserts to chose from. We had ordered, had a main, desert and coffee within a hour. We did not feel rushed though, it just the service was very good. This will definitely be our go to restaurant whenever we’re in Sheffield.

Had a very pleasant lunch with a friend. Service was excellent and my pasta dish was very tasty.

Brilliant place on Church Street just up from the cathedral, me and my mum love it here, lovely food that's piping hot and tastes really good, great service and very good prices for today! Not many places these days that you get all of this, two mains, two sides, two large wines £39, can't fault it. Give it a try!

The serving staff are so friendly and welcoming, we came in just before 1 to a quiet setting, but 10min later the place was full. The food came out very quickly, with the drinks, it was beautifully cooked, it tasted heavenly, with that home made, with love feel.

Food was gorgeous, we had lasagne, garlic bread and beers. Staff helpful and quick.

I always enjoy this place, the staff are kind, the food is amazing. I made it my regular, no complaints. I’d recommend the carbonara

Such a lovely place to eat. My family came here a while ago and we've always come back since. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is really well priced and there's such a range to choose from. I try to come here often as the food is amazing and it's such a warm atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough.

This to me is a highly recommended restaurant, the staff are so friendly, the food is excellent and well presented, the prices are amazing, get yourself in.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while after practically drooling over the sight of their pizzas through the window 🤣 So tonight we went in, had some calamari, a salad and a classico pizza, followed by very tasty desserts... Well it did not disappoint, the food is delicious! Nice staff. We will definitely be back for more

One of my favourite restaurants in the city center, the staff are always friendly and chatty, food is always fresh, hot, and quick to arrive even when busy, and the atmosphere is always lovely!

I went there recently for dinner with a friend. The Interior didn't look great as the walls had stains and it was pretty dirty but I still hoped the food would be good based on the reviews from Google. We ordered drinks and you could tell straight away that the quality wasn't good. My coffee made me sick and the juice we got tasted like water with a little bit of squash juice. I'm a big fan of pasta but when I got my tagliatelle carbonara I was really upset as it was the worst carbonara I had in my life. It looked bad, the bacon was frozen not fresh, and it had barely any taste, not to mention that tagliatelle itself was very on the edge of being uncooked. The pizza there was okay but nothing special and you can get a better one in many places around Sheffield. When I left an almost full plate of food all the waitresses were avoiding our table. We paid and left somewhere else. In summary, if you want to have a good experience (service, food and atmosphere) avoid that place!

We had our daughters birthday at Piazza. The staff were friendly and on top of things. We were a large group of 6 kids and three adults and they were very adapting. The lasagne was delicious and one of the best I've had.

Good and very quick service and the servers were very attentive and friendly. Food is absolutely delicious and the prices amazingly low. Would highly recommend this gem of an Italian. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely amazing! We had a great dinner date here. It's a minute walk from trams and buses, the food was fantastic but not expensive and the staff were 110% (especially Carolina/Astrid!) We're definitely coming again.

We booked Caffe Piazza for a friends birthday meal on Friday evening and I’m so glad that we did! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and attentive, we phoned before our booking to ask if we could come early to put some decorations up and leave a cake behind the bar. They were more than happy to accommodate us and even offered to help put the decorations up and brought the cake out at the end of the meal. The restaurant was lovely, great atmosphere with a bubbly vibe. The food was incredible, fresh, authentic Italian food, some of the best I’ve tried in Sheffield! I definitely recommend this place for a birthday meal, lunch or evening meal. Thank you so much to all the staff at Cafe Piazza, we will be back!

My wife and I had dinner there on Friday 19 May. The starters were Involtini Salmone (a spicy tuna mixture wrapped in smoked salmon), and a mixed meat charcuterie platter followed by Tagliatelle Gamberone for each of us. The starters were of a very high quality and the mains were their equal. If I had a quibble, it is that the restaurant opens before lunch and closes at 9pm which meant our dinner was a little early (for us). Aside from that minor quibble, the value was terrific. With wine, the bill came to just over £60. Terrific value for food of this quality. If we had stayed longer in Sheffield it might have been tempting to try another visit to sample some other items on the menu.

Reasonably priced Italian restaurant in the centre of Sheffield. Parmigiana was fantastic.

Seem to visit at every trip to Sheffield. Be warned, the special triple Calzone/pizza/ bolognese is enough for two and delicious.

I almost gave this place 3 stars but the food and service deserved a 4. My one gripe. Gluten free. It says GF on menu but apparently you after asking it actually is! No amount of pointing the small print changes the fact that just daft

We were after a light lunch today. Minestrone soup, fresh and delicious, plus shared an Italian cold platter with two perfect glasses of merlot. Space left so tiramisu and coffees followed. Friendly and very Italian ambience.
