Caffe Piazza in Sheffield

Delicious pasta! I had the chicken pancake my husband had the lasagne. Starters were OK the meatball starter imp was a bit dry. Service was great and not a long wait. Busy Friday night.We would return

I celebrated my 70 birthday with 13 friends and family at Cafe Piazza last weekend. We sent in the meal order in advance and the service, quality and quantity of food on the day were superb. The staff were extremely efficient, well prepared and friendly. They were particularly attentive to special diets. Everyone had a lovely time and commented on how well we had been looked after throughout the meal. I recommend the Cafe Piazza for birthday celebrations very highly

Absolutely fantastic food lovely atmosphere I always love the food there every time we go & my daughter loves there lasagna to worth every penny also..

Sadly I have to say this place has really gone downhill. It’s a place we’ve often visited and enjoyed the atmosphere and, largely, the food. In say 10 meals I’ve had 2/3 that weren’t nice. My partner however always enjoys the food. This last time though will be the last for me. Ordered Parmigiana. One of the most awful meals I’ve had in a long time. It was stuffed full of mainly undercooked courgettes. I didn’t taste any Parmesan or Mozzarella and there was no aubergine to be found. It was a plate of courgette in tomato sauce. I complained and the waitress poked about in the meal and found a very tiny slice of aubergine and said ‘look, aubergine!’ I felt ill all afternoon and had a horrid taste in my mouth all day. I didn’t tell her I’d ordered a tonic and got soda. I just won’t go again. Very sad. Service was fabulous tho 🥴

Awesome My son and I chanced upon this lovely place whilst on a summer holiday visit If you happen to be in Orchard Square, just glide through TK Max, straight ahead and out of the other door, across the road to this nice place. My son had a pizza and I had lasagne…both came super quick and were delicious and very reasonably priced too! The atmosphere was really relaxed…you could be in and out in flash if you needed to be quick or have a more relaxed time if you have time The staff were really attentive, coming quick to take your order and checking in with you throughout your meal! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous meals, great service and excellent value for money!

Managed a last minute booking here which we were grateful for but it wasn’t as great as other reviews suggest. One main was cold (they knocked it off the bill thankfully) but the biggest disappointment was the ineptitude of the staff to be able to understand the dietary needs of one of our guests and adapt a main to suit them. We got there in the end but it took a while! Restaurants need to be more flexible with allergens etc .

We stay in Sheffield 2 night, and came to this restaurant twice for dinner, very friendly service and delicious food, 👍

Great Italian restaurant. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Service is very friendly. We've been several times now and would still go back. Sometimes, when very busy, the food takes a bit longer to appear, but it's worth the wait. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic as always. We always come here when we are in Sheffield. Great selection of food- pizza, pasta, meat, fish etc and lots of veggie options. Portions are big and the food is really tasty. Staff are friendly and very efficient. We'll be back soon!

Truly a hidden gem - one of the most flavourful, cozy restaurants in Sheffield! I frequent here on a weekly basis and have not had a single bad meal. The photos are of the Salmon Tagliatelle with a delicious creamy white sauce, Chicken Pancake with a hearty tomato sauce and their perfectly sweet Biscoff Milk Cake. They are very accommodating regarding food restrictions (I do not consume alcohol so they removed the wine from the sauces), and offer an extremely friendly service :) I'm quite picky with my tomato sauce but theirs is second to none in Sheffield - not too heavy and so so flavourful! A must try! <3

Me and my friends are regular diners here but yesterday was my last meal. We had a bill of £41, my friend paid some on card and I paid the remaining £27 in cash. However, I had accidentally put down £47 which I realised after we had left. So I called them as soon as I remembered regarding the discrepancy and was told their figures at the end of the day (including tips) wasn’t out of the ordinary and the waiters did not notice anything out of the ordinary yesterday. That is a 50% over payment, a 50% “tip”, how would that have gone unnoticed??! I can only imagine she forgot we also put a card payment down for some of it too but even then, it’s £7 that should have a been brought back to the table for us to decide if we wanted to leave it as a tip. My friend confirmed seeing the extra £20 on the table. So they’re clearly being dishonest!

wonderful food with big portions for cheap. i was served by Carolina and Maria and they were amazing, and made sure to look after each and every customer there. i recommend the mussels in tomato sauce!! 5* time out if you want something quick, big and yummy :)

It was my first time at Caffe Piazza and I came in with 0 expectations. I ordered the Tagliatelle Gamberoni from the specials board. Our server Carolina welcomed us with a cheerful smile and was very patient and helpful and answered all our questions regarding our dietary restrictions. The food was very delicious exceeding my expectations that I developed talking to our server. The place felt warm and cozy and I will definitely be back again to try more dishes. The only advice I would give is to have more halal options.

Lovely little Italian Restaurant. Food and service always good. It's a firm favourite with friends and family,so much so we held a birthday party for my partner last September for a party of 16 and the service was spot on. They do gluten free pasta options for anyone who is gluten intolerant.

Really nice food relaxed surroundings don't be expecting the Ritz it's not. It's more a cafe type with loads of tables and chairs clean toilets downstairs. Food was top notch and very reasonable. 2 mains 2 desert's and a bottle of nice Chardonnay for less than £60. Looking forward to going back trying other stuff Tip for Owner. Change your lighting from cool white to warm white

Love this place. Staff super friendly and welcoming, thin crust pizza's in my opinion the best outside of Italy. For a change opted for the spinach and ricotta tortellini on the specials, wise choice. Bed Italian in Sheffield

Had late lunch at Caffe Piazza. Ordered Chicken (w mushroom & spinach) Calzone and my wife and and son each got a Lobster Ravioli special. Each included a pink marinara (mix of tomato and cream) which was very tasty! The Calzone was very big and the dough was great. Luckily my son helped me finish it. Afterwards we had Tiramisu dessert. Presented well and very yummy. Waitress was very friendly and nice and service was quick. Definitely will return when in Sheffield! Highly recommended!

Been here many times, food always tasty, never had a bad meal. Service is quick, staff always cheerful and friendly. We've been to italy many times and this is has close to true Italian food has you can find. The manager has always been aminable, nothing is too much trouble. Good atmosphere, food and drink are a fair price for the centre of sheffield, and cheaper than most compatible restaurants!! Recommend anything on the menu!!

I have visited Caffe Piazza a few times and it is always a pleasant visit. The food is phenomenal, and the staff are attentive and polite, and the service is swift. Whether for lunch or Dinner, Caffe Piazza has it all, and is well worth a visit when in Sheffield!

We went in without a booking, on the off chance we'd be able to get a table anyway. We were in luck and were greeted straight away and shown to a table. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The service was prompt and the food was really nice. It was our first visit and we'd definitely be happy to return. We were nice and full when we left.

Came here on Thursday evening while on a short break. Service was swift and friendly, place was clean and tidy, price was reasonable and food was excellent! My wife and I will definitely return on our next visit to Sheffield.

After our first visit to caffe piazza over a year ago, me and the girls make sure to go every few weeks because every time the staff make us feel so welcome and appreciated and is hands down the best food in sheffield, beautiful quality for a price we just can’t say no too! a special shout out to the dishes on the specials board and the BEST tiramisu we’ve ever had!

very disappointed with Caffe Piazza. It is our favourite restaurant in Sheffield, On Saturday we decided to go for a meal. we checked the closing times on the website and it stated closes at 9pm. we arrived at 7.15pm, only to be told 'we are closed' There was tables available. I did say the website states 9pm. and suggested they amend the website to 7pm closing to avoid others being disappointed. Their website also has a contact us email box. But dont waist your time filling it in, all emails are blocked. not very good customer relations.

Went here with my daughter and 3 grandchildren today for valentine's day lunch.been a few times and they are so lovely with the kids the food is gorgeous fresh and piping hot, tried not to leave too much mess behind but with a 1 year old who's just learning the art of throwing stuff,it's a bit of a hard task,🙄🙄they all ate loads and were covered in pasta sauce which is how lunch in an Italian restaurant should be.

First visit to cafe piazza as it was close to the event we had booked at Sheffield cathedral. We received a warm welcome, the service was friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and perfect, the best pizza I’ve had for a while. Lovely deserts to chose from. We had ordered, had a main, desert and coffee within a hour. We did not feel rushed though, it just the service was very good. This will definitely be our go to restaurant whenever we’re in Sheffield.

Brilliant place on Church Street just up from the cathedral, me and my mum love it here, lovely food that's piping hot and tastes really good, great service and very good prices for today! Not many places these days that you get all of this, two mains, two sides, two large wines £39, can't fault it. Give it a try!

The serving staff are so friendly and welcoming, we came in just before 1 to a quiet setting, but 10min later the place was full. The food came out very quickly, with the drinks, it was beautifully cooked, it tasted heavenly, with that home made, with love feel.

Food was gorgeous, we had lasagne, garlic bread and beers. Staff helpful and quick.

Such a lovely place to eat. My family came here a while ago and we've always come back since. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is really well priced and there's such a range to choose from. I try to come here often as the food is amazing and it's such a warm atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough.

This to me is a highly recommended restaurant, the staff are so friendly, the food is excellent and well presented, the prices are amazing, get yourself in.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while after practically drooling over the sight of their pizzas through the window 🤣 So tonight we went in, had some calamari, a salad and a classico pizza, followed by very tasty desserts... Well it did not disappoint, the food is delicious! Nice staff. We will definitely be back for more
