Kito's in Sheffield

Our first time to Kito’s and what a wonderful experience. Very authentic with a nice friendly atmosphere. Food and service was amazing, will definitely be returning, in fact already booked to go back. Andrea was really lovely.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. All food is fresh and amazing, you won’t get another Italian like it! You won’t be disappointed!

First visit to kitos, food was good , service was ok but I found it a little on the small side . Ideal for a romantic meal for 2 but not really geared up for a staff Christmas party of 10

Muy decepcionado. Mesa arriba inicialmente con un calentador portátil pero todavía frío sin atmósfera y volumen de música subiendo y bajando. Nos mudamos a la planta baja y tardamos 45 minutos en tomar nuestra orden. El entrante era agradable. Mi principal fue terrible. Pollo y salsa masticable no tenía brandy o crema en como se describe y literalmente se veía y sabía como tomates enlatados en la parte superior! Subí al baño y de camino a la camarera en cuclillas detrás del mostrador desplazándome por el teléfono. No hace falta decir que no volveremos y cancelamos nuestra reserva antes de Navidad para 8

Went for a 60th birthday party, fantastic food, staff very brilliant and couldn’t have done more. We had the upstairs to ourselves and it was a really great night

First time eating at this lovely restaurant my lasagna was an authentic recipe my husband had chicken and prawn in thermadore sauce, food is excellent very good value. You need to book in advance you can take your own bottle along and no corkage was charged. Staff great service friendly will be taking my family next time

Después de una experiencia no tan buena hace un mes más o menos pensamos en darle una segunda oportunidad a Kitos. A pesar de que la comida era buena, el servicio de nuevo fue muy pobre. Esperamos 20 minutos para que alguien viniera y tomara nuestro pedido y luego otros 30 minutos para que llegaran los entrantes. Del mismo modo, la larga espera entre los entrantes y los platos principales - no hay disculpas del personal por las largas esperas. Terminamos nuestros platos principales y estábamos esperando para pedir un postre, nunca sucedió, ya que nos ignoraron totalmente durante otros 30 minutos. Finalmente desistió de esperar y detuvo a la camarera mientras pasaba a buscar la cuenta. Tuve que preguntar por segunda vez para conseguir esto también. La comida es buena aquí y es una verdadera lástima que no puedan resolver el servicio, los tiempos de espera son demasiado largos,

Been my first time visiting Kito’s I just need to let everyone know that is a lovely place food is delicious and no complain about service. I am fan of restaurants and I can tell that this one is one of my favourite. From taste of food can tell that everything is fresh. I had for starter mussels and garlic bread and for main I have the special chicken and prawns served with veg. The ambience been lovely and the music been on top of it.

Somos asiduos a Kito's desde que los nuevos propietarios asumieron el cargo, pero la comida de esta noche me ha hecho escribir esta crítica. Grupo familiar celebrando el 86 cumpleaños de mi mamá, unos pocos comedores quisquillosos en la familia, pero las 12 comidas se sirvieron juntas y calientes. Todo el mundo estaba satisfecho con su comida y los platos vacíos eran prueba de ello. El queso y el pan de ajo de tomate es increíble. Los Kito's siempre te hacen sentir bienvenido y salen de ahí para asegurarse de que tu comida sea excelente y tu experiencia de su hospitalidad, una muy agradable.

Only one waitress for the whole place. She did well but part of our order was incorrect. Rather than apologise she blamed us for ordering incorrectly and expected the party to eat separately whilst it was rectified. The remaining meals were kept warm and consequently over done when they were returned. The pizza was actually burnt in places. The chicken dishes were expensive for what they were.

Could not have been any better! From the minute we walked in we had excellent service provided by Andrea. She was pleasant and attentive. The linguine bolognese was spectacular (the pasta was perfectly cooked) and when I asked if they had any chili flakes to make it spicy the chef provided some handmade chili oil which was DELICIOUS! The risotto and calzone were also excellent and a wonderful touch at the end of the meal was a complementary glass of Limoncello. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

¡No podría haber sido mejor! Desde el minuto en que entramos tuvimos un excelente servicio proporcionado por Andrea. Ella era agradable y atento. La lingüina boloñesa estaba espectacular (la pasta estaba perfectamente cocida) y cuando pregunté si tenían hojuelas de chile para hacerlo picante, el chef proporcionó un poco de aceite de chile hecho a mano que estaba DELICIOSO! El risotto y la calzone también fueron excelentes y un toque maravilloso al final de la comida fue una copa complementaria de Limoncello. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante.

Excellent food and service. We were a family group of 5 people and three of us had starters of meatballs and mussels. Meatballs were very tasty and well made - mussels were excellent with a light sauce of white wine, garlic and parsley. Mains - two had monk fish pasta with a wonderfully light tomato sauce. Two had sea bass with a buttery/lemon sauce which was cooked well and proportionate quantities of sauce. One had pizza - well cooked and good amount of topping - felt authentic. Service was impeccable and byo is a real advantage (corkage is v reasonable). We will be back.?

Very over priced for what the food is...£8 for 4 small mushrooms and the main meal was meant to be salmon and prawn pasta ...3 prawns and no salmon...the forgot to put the salmon in...when its came back there were 4 bits of salmon shavings....and the pasta is out of a bag not fresh...never go again I do not reccomend it...and scruffy upstairs not cleaned properly

No way can I do this place justice on a review. Everything was fantastic. Appetizers, mains, dessert...all perfect, with good portion size. You won't leave hungry. I have eaten at many, MANY Italian places across numerous cities, and this is one of the best I've been to. They even threw in a free dessert, played happy birthday, and sang happy birthday for my friend's birthday. The atmosphere is nice as well with a smaller, but not cramped space. The food is an absolute rockstar.

We dropped in here for a birthday meal on what seemed like a very busy night for a Wednesday in Woodseats - perhaps Eide had something to do with it, who knows? We had mussels for starters with brushetta that had lots of well-seasoned tomatoes on, both were very good. My partner had pizza, which did taste authentic and I had seafood pancake, which could have done with some more actual seafood, but it did the job. Although we were not in a hurry at all, we did find the service a bit too "relaxed" at times, I'm not sure that one person serving all the tables worked on the night. I can't help but wonder why a restaurant advertises itself as a BYO and then charges people for drinking their own wine. What am I paying the £3 for when no one opens the bottle and their is no option to buy wine from the restuarant? Apart from that, the staff and atmosphere are are pleasant and the prices are not OTT.

Super friendly, small traditional Italian restaurant. BYOwine with corkage charge, means you get to chose what you really like. Food was delicious. Very reasonably priced. We will be back!

A date night with the hubby. The staff and the food were absolutely excellent. Fantastic atmosphere and very friendly.

Went to Kito’s to celebrate my wife’s birthday there was 6 of us and what a night we had. The service from a very pleasant young girl was fantastic, three of us had the sirloin steak cooked and seasoned to perfection. We meet some wonderful people in kito’s who all joined in with our singing and made it a very memorable evening, All in All a lovely place and quality food and service, thank you.

Lovely old skool Italian. BYOB, attentive, lovely and friendly service, good-sized portions, very reasonable prices. We had the room upstairs as we were a party of 17. We had two excited children with us so upstairs was perfect Highly recommend.

I know everyone in Woodseats raves about Kito's but I'd always been put off by the size of the venue when I have a youngest child with ADHD (more out of my own paranoia about him disturbing other guests) but we went early tonight and we should have never been worried. Service was amazing and they couldn't have done more for us. Going above and beyond every step of the way, even down to letting my kids go and roll their own pizza dough. The food was a bit old school 'anglo-italian' (which is sometimes just the comfort food you need), but all well prepared and cooked with love and reasonably priced. Could not recommend it any more strongly and we now have a regular neighbourhood restaurant we'll visit again and again.

First time in this restaurant and very pleased with the food we all had different dishes and all looked tasty and well presented , the homemade dessert were delicious , especially the panacotta and cheesecake. . We can t wait to return. , thanks to all the staff

Our family party made a recent visit here on a Saturday evening. We have visited several times in the past and looked forward to our first visit under the present owners. Sadly, we were disappointed. The over-riding issue was poor service throughout, even at the beginning when the restaurant was very quiet. Plates were taken between courses in a haphazard manner spread out in ones and twos and in the end we had to ask a server to complete the task without interruption. Also, alerting someone to take a further drinks order was problematic. Our meals were average at best, although my Wife had burnt elements in both her starter and her main dish. A poor evening and we won't be returning.

First time visit...Amazing pork ribs and mushroom dolcelatta starters and pizza and pasta mains ... Lovely staff and fantastic food... Will definitely return ❤️

Five of us on a Friday night. Table downstairs but I understand for larger groups there is more room upstairs. Very good service. Quiet atmosphere all night so we managed to have plenty of conversations! Food was good quality standard Italian and on time. All in all we had a good night out and would highly recommend Kitos. We opted for 'bring your own" drinks, but you pay for corkage of £4 for wine and £1 for beer.

Very pleased with Kitos last night, we came here as a walk in, due to walking out of another Italian restaurant 5 minutes down the road. At first I was a little worried, it was cramped, however, they didn't disappoint me, drinks was ordered instantly and received quite quickly. Food was ordered after about 10 minutes wait, but that was probably due to the understaffed situation in the kitchen. My partner did not enjoy hers. They did offer her something else, but I feel at this point, she had gone past hunger and had given up on the night. I had the risotto, and loved it. Good value for money, everything fresh. CASH IS KING.

Garlic bread with cheese very good, carbonara a bit dry, calzone good, pizza good. Service very slow ,2 hours fro arrival to receive our main courses.

Had a beautiful meal here last night all fresh ingredients cooked to order, had a little wait as I ordered the risotto but that just gave us more time to chat and drink wine. Fantastic food and service. I highly recommend the new owners menu.

Food average and the service was really good but the seating is really cramped.

Highly recommend place to visit. Excellent food and service , waitresses where extremely friendly and the food was a 10/10 and the service matched my expectations. The desserts followed where very full filling. The restaurant its self had a very nice atmosphere, nice place to sit and enjoy some food with family we all enjoyed coming here!

Small but cosy place, so it's a mystery why it took so long for a pizza and a frittata to arrive. Pizza is good. It's generally expensive

Great food. Delicious and piping hot. Great service, friendly and helpful. Would recommend and can't wait to go again. Photos of starters weren't taken as they disappeared but I can assure you all were wonderful.

Four of us went for an early evening meal, every one really enjoyed the starters, mains and desserts, price caomparable to most other small restaurants with nothing to criticise or complain about. Josie the waitress was extremly pleasant and attentive, they have good selection of starters, mains and desserts. I can heartily recommend Kitos, thats why they are still around after 40 years In Woodseats.

Went to kito’s on Saturday 21st may 22 a group of 6 friends, everyone had a lovely meal served with a smile. I had the serloin it was the best steak I have ever had a gorgeous 10 full ounce cooked to perfection. A busy place with a nice atmosphere and the service was faultless. A great place to share with friends will definitely be back, thank you.

Fantastic food and great value for money

Called at 815 on a Saturday very lat minute and luckily a table had just come free. Super friendly staff plus chef (owner) who came to check meal all ok. No olives on menu but when requested, served with bread and oil. Reasonably priced, BYO £3.50 corkage and delicious food. Thank you. It’s been a while since we visited (previous owners) but we’ll be back!

I'm surprised that Kito's is rated so highly, i think its top 50 in Sheffield, and i dont agree personally. Ive had dinner twice at Kito's and i overall found it good enough (came back a second time, after all), but certainly not the best in town... its been refurbished I believe and looks lovely, the dishes have appropriate pricing and the service is fine enough... but most things I have tired were "alright" and not much more to be sincere...

We went to the newly furnished Kitos and were impressed with the decor and layout. The menu was not as extensive as the previous one but there still was much to choose from. The starters were delicious and the main courses of lamb chops and chicken cacciatore were in lovely sauces. Great service and good value for money. We will be back and soon.

Kitos food excellent, but they really need to do something about waiting on staff, Sunday’s seem to be particularly poor, just not up to it and having to wait 20 mins for plates to be cleared. Restaurant wasn’t busy but just not looking at tables this really is not what you want, didn’t bother with desert as fed up of waiting for plates to be cleared However food was excellent

We have a monthly meal about ten to fifteen of us went to kito's this month and meals were perfect and we was well looked after.

What a great restaurant! Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff, and superb food.

Really enjoyed our time at kito's,excellent choices of starters and mains,plus specials menu which I had on the night seafood calzone really tasty, take your own wine or beers also,great service from the staff,will be returning for definite, get it booked in.

Our group consisted of 5 adults and 3 children. There isnt a kids menu but you can order anything off the menu as a half portion which to me is much better. everyone at our table really enjoyed the food and the service was brilliant. they were busy and also had a large birthday party upstairs but we didnt feel this enfringed on us at all. we will defintley be back The only thing I could say in a negative way was that they did give my friends bottle of prosecco (byob) to the table upstairs (not sure why someone would accept a bottle that didnt belong to them) they did give us £10.00 off the bill though.

Went last night for the 3rd time since they have reopened and the food and service just keeps getting better. We took my partner's 2 granddaughters they were a member of staff down and the place was packed but there was no long waits for...

There was a group of 19 of us that visited recently. The majority of the place was taken over by us but there were still 3 or 4 tables remaining that were taken occupied throughout the night. The food was good and good value for...

£25 for the menu on that day is too cheap ! lovely service , crackers , amazing food , turkey and sage sauce was out of this world .... amazing individual bread still warm like out the oven.... the beef brisket on the bone was like butter ... loved all of it ! thank you so much to all staff to make this day so nice . happy new year .xx

My husband I treated ourselves to Christmas Eve dinner and eagerly looked forward to it for weeks, and were not disappointed. We received a warm welcome from the young front of house team who looked after us very well. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully...

Been visiting this restaurant for years with family and friends , visited tonight as husband and wife to be very disappointed , both had seafood dishes which came to us cold ! Sorry guys but will not come ever again !
