Had the best time here with the best drinks and food, the service was amazing

We were the only customers in. Admittedly it was a Tuesday night but it was very very quiet. The food was average, and not particularly authentic. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful though.

Food was good although a bit over priced for the standard. Service would probably be better on a normal evening but unfortunately they were having to deal with a difficult group party of around 30 people.

We attend as a group at least once per year when we go to Ponds Forge for swimming competitions. Always good service and good food. There is always at least eight of us and we are always well looked after.

Honestly the best Mexican food I have tasted. I'm from Newcastle and we have nothing as tasty as this up there! Next time we're in Sheffield we will definitely be back for more! Great service and very polite, could t ask for more! Cheers!

Had dinner for the first time with a mate yesterday. Both the food and service were amazing, smashes Chiquitos out the park. Only reason why atmosphere gets a 3 is because bizzarely we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. However I highly recommend this place and it is fully halal which is a plus. Will deffo be visiting again.

Had a 18th Birthday meal for my daughter with 20+ guests attending. The customer service was outstanding! The staff were so helpful and polite. They helped to decorate the table for me in such a quick and timely manner. The food was excellent and was delivered in good time. Drinks included cocktails which were very nice. No complaints from my guests and they all praised the venue food and service. There was a dj present and the music was very accomodating for all guests present. He even sang along to some of the songs. The cost of the evening was very reasonable for the experience and catering that we received. It was overall a very enjoyable night and would definitely visit again.

Would recommend. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was great and reasonably priced. Also, on the way out it was absolutely slamming it down with rain. The guy working at the entrance (didn't catch his name) went and got us an umbrella. What a guy!! Great customer service.

My mate ordered from here via just eat. The rice had 6 staples stuck together in it. Phoned to raise the issue and the manager didn't seem bothered at all, he just said they only use staplers for attaching the receipts to the bag, almost like it was a hint i put them there myself. I haven't owned a stapler since high school and even if i did the staples wouldn't have jumped into the rice by itself. The manager said he'll speak to the staff involved and he'll send me a voucher to my email which he re-read back me, the voucher never arrived in my inbox or junk mail. Not that i would order from here again anyway. They would of had bigger problems if me or someone else had swallowed them but this seems to have gone over their heads. I'll be contacting environmental health in the meantime.

I’m sorry, but what are all the 5 star reviews about? The food was AWFUL. The nachos were absolutely terrible and the cheese on top tasted like the cheese from those frozen pizzas you get from Tesco. The mocktail was quite bad as well, mainly ice and too expensive for the quantity. Like c’mon, it’s not even real alcohol, why so stingy? The music was way too loud and we literally couldn’t have a conversation with each other as we couldn’t hear each other. The staff was sweet and quite attentive, so not much to say there! I wouldn’t recommend for Mexican or Italian food. We didn’t order any “Italian” food but I saw the pizzas they were serving to another table and they looked absolutely awful. I hate leaving bad reviews but I felt ripped off. The prices are way too high for the quality of food.

I was very skeptical about this place at first, but given that it was valentine's weekend and everywhere else was fully booked, I made a reservation. Upon entering the restaurant, my uncertainty grew - the decor is a bit dated, there was a man singing what sounded like mexican karaoke, and the laminated menus on the table had food encrusted on them. However, we went ahead and ordered a few things from the very strange array of dishes on the menu, and we were very pleasantly surprised!!! The food was really flavourful and lovely! The servers were friendly, helpful and chatty. By the end of the meal, my partner and I had accepted the dated carpet and cheap decor, as quirks of the place. Our meal turned out to be quite enjoyable, and I would eat here again.

Came in last minute at 10pm on a Sunday night , all the wait staff was very accommodating , food was quick and tasty and we even got complimentary shots are the end - would recommend to anyone 👍

We went to the bottomless brunch for my sister's hen, we had an absolutely fabulous time, the food was great and the drinks very tasty. The service however was fantastic, the whole team were so lovely, attentive, celebrated everyone's birthdays and my sister in a really wholesome way. Would really recommend!

The food was lovely as always. I was also incidentally very impressed by how hot the fries were! I've never had hot fries from a takeaway delivery before! The delivery must have taken a good half hour as well from town. The restaurant had obviously been really careful- wrapping them in foil as well as putting them in the padded heat retaining delivery bag. Also I love the cocktails. A huge treat

Great food, with a buzzing alive atmosphere 👌 our host Ciro was amazing adding to the lively culture of this little Mexican restraunt, a multitude of different dishes to suit a wide range of palletes from seafood to traditional Mexican dishes was on offer, personally as a seafood lover I throughly enjoyed both of the muscles starter and seabass main. Cant wait to return highly reccomend.

Wrong items delivered - ordered burritos, received chimichangas. When I phoned them, the person I spoke to tried to convince me that they were in fact burritos (?) when they'd written chimichanga on the boxes, and wouldn't send the correct order out. Tried to convince me that a chimichanga is a burrito. Weird experience and poor service, would not recommend

I went to El Paso for dinner today after it was recommended to me by a friend and didn’t regret it at all. The staff was super friendly, nice and the food was delicious. If you are looking for amazing Mexican food in Sheffield then this is the place to go. Ask for Ciro as he is the one making the place amazing

Went for my Fiancé 25th birthday, and I must say the food is the best Mexican food we have ever tasted! Such a great atmosphere, the gentleman that was serving us did a fantastic job! Will definitely be coming again! 5**

I really enjoy the atmosphere within this restaurant it really stand out from any other restaurant i’ve been too. The service is great and the staff are attentive which allows the rest of the customers to feel comfortable.Also the food is flavourful and never lets me down .Overall ,a great restaurant and i would definitely recommend !

Lived in Sheffield all my life and this is the first time in this restaurant (where have I been for 40 years) I I am sat hear with my family and friends, What an amazing place the staff are amazing ( Ciro especially) and as for the food 10/10. We will be back soon thank you

Amazing cocktails and the amazing celebration provided made the occasion extra special. The food was delicious and not a long wait for it, the short time we did wait, the staff at El Paso entertained us during and we had laughs all round . Brilliant atmosphere will definitely be dining here again for special occasions.

Went for a friend’s 30th birthday on Tuesday 5th. There were lots of us, yet the service was so quick and we all received our meals at the same time. Food was delicious - all the starters looked great and my enchiladas were really tasty. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and they couldn’t do enough for you - especially Ciro - who got us all up doing the Conga through the restaurant for the birthday girl which was great fun! Really enjoyed our evening at El Paso and will definitely return!

Ciro was absolutely amazing! He was so warm and friendly, and his impeccable service truly made our dining experience special. The atmosphere he created was just delightful and we felt so welcomed and appreciated.

We came here for my dad's birthday and I couldn't recommend it enough! The staff were great and entertained us all with sombreros, birthday music and also had my daughter dancing up on the table at one point! We had a brilliant time! The food was a bonus, delishous!

Last week, I visited El Paso with my lads to have an early evening meal before going on to see a show... The service was great, the food was excellent we had a laugh with the staff... A very laid back friendly atmosphere.. 🙂🙂

Wow what a place. Always had this place recommended to us over the years and can't believe it's took so long for us to try. The atmosphere in this place is great, such a fun lively vibe which left us laughing and smiling. The service was fantastic - it feels like nowadays we have become accustomed to average service etc but the staff could not do enough for us, check ins on food, drinks etc and the manager come over with our server at the end of the night to make sure we had had a good time etc. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious. We both had fajitas and the flavour/seasoning was great and for us good value for money. Seen some reviews about price but for us it seemed reasonable for what we got. We left feeling like we had had good food a good laugh and really enjoyed the experience, that I definitely think it's somewhere for people to try.

Booked here for my parents birthday meal out, just the two of us. Booking was easy and done via email. On arrival we welcomed my Ciro who made us feel at ease immediately. We had three starters ( couldn’t choose so decided to share one) Two mains and two desserts. Started with a drinks order, tried a few different wines recommended by Ciro , who very clearly knows what he’s talking about. All in all it was absolutely wonderful service , lovely food , cocktails were fantastic. The service made the night for us, this will definitely be our new favourite place for date night, we can’t wait to go back! Thankyou Ciro!

Thank you so much for an amazing evening last Friday, celebrating Get Set's 5th anniversary. The food was amazing, the staff were amazing. The atmosphere was second to none! I have been El Paso for a few times. I always love their food and the vibe. We came in a bigger group this time. We enjoyed the dance, the birthday surprise and the special drink here. Thank you Ciro for bringing so much fun to our evening and thank you Sonal for giving me so much help throughout the booking process. El Paso is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Sheffield.

Foods always good here and the atmosphere is too. Waiters are attentive but not too overboard. They initially got my order wrong (wrong side) but sorted quickly, so no complaint from me.

Really good quality Mexican food, decent portion, excellent value. Would happily eat this meal again or try other dishes from this restaurant. Only complaint is that the driver did not deliver to my door and I had to go out into the rain to collect from him in his taxi. If I pay for delivery, I expect delivery.

Absolutely wonderful food and service. Was a tiny bit late but we ordered late evening on a Sunday and the weather was horrific. We are also a good 10 minute drive from their location. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, the chicken dish and starter was perfect. Will definitely order again!

A gem of a place. Simple, fresh and well constructed, and fairly priced menu. With plenty of choice and dishes cooked in full view with its open kitchen. The owner is a fantastic host. The atmosphere had good 80s music on at a decent level of volume, on clearly some very good audio equipment. We went in January, there was us as a couple having a meal, and a large group of what appeared like heavy drinking work friends celebrating. The skill of the owner is that he made everyone have a good dining experience and party atmosphere, inclusive of all his guests. Highly recommended

Went to El Paso to celebrate my mate graduation. No words can describe how good the service n food was. From start to finish we were looked after well. The food was delicious cannot ask for more and having the cocktail made feel like im somewhere in Florida enjoying my Pina Colada cause of how well the restaurant is decorated. After finishing our meal when we asked for our bill a surprise tequila was brought to may mate singing a song by all waiters congratulating on his graduation. I would say it was a definitely a warming personal touch. Will recommend everyone to try chimichanga 😊

Most things are reasonable in here except (a) big lack of condiments, (b) a big lack of enthusiasm, (c) a total rip off on some drinks; I ordered one ginger ale for £3.50 and it turned out it was a 200ml bottle! That is outrageous. That's not even half a can of Coke etc. The main member of staff was so apathetic and slow that I thought he may have been kn Mogadon.

Had a fantastic time. We had a family celebration - the 18th birthday of my great-niece. We ended up in a conger line, dancing around the restaurant. The food was excellent and service great! I have been to El Paso many times before and have never been disappointed!

Avoid this place! Discrimination from staff towards me. Food was expensive and portion size was small for the price I paid. A drink was spilled down my white dress from one of the young woman staff waitresses. I think she purposely spilled the drinks down me as she was opposite me and I was wearing white and she was jealous of me and she was not bothered about sending me the money to pay for my dress even though she said she would and then made up lies saying I’m with Lloyds it will take 10 minutes to come to your account, what really happened is she didn’t send the money and when I confronted her she said I don’t know. The dress cost me £40 and the coffee stain did not come out of my dress! She obviously did not know how to do her job properly and I’m not sure why she offered something she did not want to do. The money never came. She lied and the manager knows she never sent it me. He also said he didn’t want to say anything to her because she is new- not that this mattered. I approached the manager who said he would pay for it to be cleaned even though the stain did not come out. His name was Naz. It was really embarrassing and upsetting as I was on a staff night out and this was the first place we went to when this happened. I also had no help of other staff who was working there. They didn’t help clean my dress or offer a free drink. The manager was useless and I expected a drink or free meal given to me and when they didn't I thought it was disgusting and unprofessional as it did ruin my night and they never offered anything and when I asked about a free meal they said no and I had to pay for my meal. I will never come here again!

1st visit here for my daughters 18th birthday, she had an amazing time everyone in our party really enjoyed themselves, the food was amazing good portions , cocktails were great ! Had an amazing time tonight at El Paso for my friends graduation, nothing was too much trouble and staff made sure the occasion was special and memorable for all. With singing, miracas, tambourines, dancing and a conga! The gentlemen made this a night to remember, food was delicious and they even put my friend's flower in a vase while we had our meal🎉💃

First time visit after many, many years in Sheffield and I do not know why I have not been sooner. From the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere there was nothing wrong. We spotted this restaurant on our map and, as we both love Mexican food, decided it was ideal for us. The service was very good and the evening was full of fun, laughter, many happy birthdays, good music and great food and drink. If you are ever in Sheffield, I’d highly recommend you spend an evening here.

Had swordfish with cream was amazing! The vegetables were very nice also! Calamari cooked perfectly not chewy ^^ everything hot and delivered fast. 10/10

It was my first time there with friends. I loved the food. Especially the pesto salmon and the fajita was excellent. Should you need Dessert recommendations ask Ciro. He was amazing.

Our party had the best time at El Paso! From the food to the atmosphere, it was incredible. El Paso provides an amazing experience that you'll not find elsewhere. Chiro and all the staff were helpful, kind and funny - they had us all in stitches. We will definitely be going back - and we did!
