"Best Italian I've had in Sheffield" Brilliant maximalist restaurant. I absolutely loved the decor—full of character and charm, a refreshing change from the sterile, Apple Store-like vibe so many places go for these days. The food was fantastic. I had the spare ribs in a rich tomato sauce (which I later reused as a dip for my chips—genius), followed by the lamb shank served on a bed of creamy garlic mashed potatoes. The gravy was absolutely beautiful. Olives to die for! Honestly, this was the best Italian meal I’ve had in Sheffield.

Turned up this evening, with an online booking. Was told they had no booking, and no available tables. All they were referencing was a piece of paper!! We’ve used this restaurant for years, zero effort was made to accommodate us. Absolutely shocking. Will not be using this place again!! Loyalty works both ways!

Delicious Italian Food served in a cozy well decorated place with impeccable service. We have ordered Meat balls, stuffed aubergine, lamb shank and seafood linguini. Thanks to Ibo for cooking these amazing dishes. Also their home made desserts are yummy. Don't miss this place.

This restaurant is absolutely superb. We’ve been dining there for over 40 years and it never disappoints. Very reasonably priced and in my humble opinion the best in Sheffield. Took my brother last night (he was well impressed) we were given a little Christmas gift on the way out. What a lovely touch. Thank you Papa Ciccios.

We all really enjoyed our visit to Papa Ciccios. We took my Mother-in-law for her 80th Birthday and she loved it. Good food, friendly staff and a nice warm atmosphere. We would recommend and return.

Got a takeout of the food, came pretty much within 15 mins, which was probably why I'm so disappointed. Not sure maybe it's some random offshoots that come via ubereats but it was rough. Carbonara was just pure salty wetness - not sure where that egg really was. The spaghetti, even in name wasn't spaghetti, since it was more of a linguine, and heck the meat truly had a mysterious taste. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is due to the garlic mushrooms which were absolutely to die for, an easy 10/10 but I can't make it seem like the side dish saved the main meals. Hard pass for the pastas.

Been frequenting this place for 35 years now. And never found anywhere better.

We have been dining at the restaurant for a couple of years usually on special occasions. I booked for this evening for our wedding anniversary I did put this on the booking. Missed the warm welcome on arrival. We were shown to the table meals were ordered. Our company enjoyed the spare ribs, the mushroom soup was slightly salty for my palette. The mains arrived together but then left waiting 5 minutes for fries. We had to send one of the chicken dishes back as it was cold it was replaced very quickly and hot but by this time 3 of us were half way through our meals. When the bill came we weren't even offered a small liqueur on the house just told I'm bringing the bill as the table is booked at 6.45. We paid the bill but did say we haven't included a tip as we usually would have done as one of the main courses was cold. This caused a bit of a disagreement with the staff. We did finally receive 10% off the bill but this should have been done automatically or being offered a drink on the house as an apology. Having to complain rather spoiled the fact that it's our wedding anniversary.

I have been a customer at Pappa Ciccio's for approx 35 years and I love it. We have been tonight and the steak is always good and for £24 for a fillet, I am okay with that price. However, as regular customers may know, you are offered fries, salad or veg with the steak. We both ordered steak and the veg portion was small...3 small potatoes, a tiny piece of broccoli and a tad of carrot. Surely, this should be addressed...vegetables are not expensive.

A family owned Italian restaurant and probably one of the best in Sheffield. Decorated beautifully, friendly service and well the food is absolutely amazing… I went for the chicken and fried zucchini which I would highly recommend! Their fried mozzarella is a highlight and on top of all this, it’s byob for just a £5 corkage charge! Mon- Thursday they do 20% off which is a great deal and for the quality of food, the prices are amazing ❤️ I will be returning

Was my 60th birthday yesterday, there were 23 of us & despite it being very busy as it was Saturday night, the welcome, service & food were top notch. All during the planning of my birthday meal, the owner & staff have been amazing, so helpful & nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated all our wishes & we had a fabulous time. Love this restaurant, food & service are always excellent.

Family meal with two grown up sons one of which eats like a horse but after a starter the Calzone defeated him and he could not finish it. The starters were flavoursome and the mains fantastic, this is our fourth visit and more to follow. The setting is snug with attentive staff but bear in mind it is cash only ( every card transaction costs the business around 4% of bill so to keep costs down for YOU take cash ) with a bill of less than £130 for 4 great value and will be visiting again in not too distant future.

My friends and I visited a few months ago and had to wait nearly 2 hours for food as the waitress had been involved in a car accident . The staff were apologetic but no complimentary drink was offered .the food when it finally arrived was very nice. We decided to visit again . I was offered a slot of 6.30 or 7.30. I opted for 6.30 for 5 of us. This time we were served promptly but my lasagne was very liquidy with poor quality meat. We then had desserts which were very nice. We were just contemplating coffees when we were told we had 10 minutes to vacate the table . This meant we had an hour and a half for our meal and the time slot had never been mentioned as I would not have made the booking. I think this is totally unacceptable and my friends and I will not be visiting again. I would certainly expect at least a minimum 2 hour slot for an evening meal . Very unhappy customer

Where to start... The food arrived 2 hours late, the delivery driver was quite clearly drunk. Sluring his words, stumbling and didn't know which order was mine. He certainly, should have not been handling food. The food itself was soggy, cold and tasted horrible. After a few mouthfuls, it was all thrown away. We subsequently ordered from elsewhere.

Husbands 75th family and friends 12 in party. Pre ordered as requested and it worked well. Food arrived promptly hot and delicious. Everyone satisfied and happy with their meal choices. Excellent service the two lady waitresses were fabulous efficient and pleasant. Will be back.

As always, we love going to Papa's Ciccio's. The food obviously is the best. Plenty to choose from, exciting specials on the Special Board. Bring your own wine still happening. Soft drinks can be bought. The staff are always eager to please. We love it❤....love you guys. Thankyou

Went here with my family and only had positive things to say about it. The staff is very friendly and the food was overall great taste wise and also for a good price. Will definitely be coming here again and would recommend more people to come here.

The food was great - cannot fault it. Good Italian cuisine. I’m giving a 1-star though because right at the end of the meal, the waitress told us that it’s “cash only”. This ruined the entire experience for me. I asked the waiter why they were “cash only” and he told me that the card machine was broken. After reading these reviews, that’s a lie as they have been cash only for years. It’s clear that they don’t care about the convenience of their customers. They just tell you to go outside and use the cash machine. It’s clear that the business more than likely not doing their books right because it’s cash only, and pay their team with cash. They don’t want to be paying payment processors the cut for convenience. They didn’t care about hygiene during COVID cus it’s cash only. The business is run like it’s in the 90’s. To the owner who I hope reads this - get a card machine, pay the fees that they charge, pay your staff via their bank accounts and make life more convenient for your customers.

Food was amazing, lovely restaurant but not quite 5 stars purely because of the lack of interaction from staff, we never got asked how our food was etc, there was no conversation, just felt like we had food and drink brought to our table and that was it. This might be just down to experience! Other than that it was lovely 😍

My Lasagne came as a small portion in a giant pool of tomato soup. The fries had never seen a fryer. The food was worse than the choice of font on the signage, and that really is saying something.

Spur of the moment to dine in and was made really welcome. Great service with good friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious … we went for lobster ravioli and melon & Parma ham for starters and steak for the main, steak was cooked perfect. Generous servings too. We have been here a few times over the years and has always been top quality food and service.

After 16 of us crammed together and not enough plate space for everyone couldn’t believe it really prisoners get more space.. starters were fine..main course wasn’t brilliant think 5 of us had cannelloni never had before I left half mine chicken and mince meat more sauce than anything never again especially seen as all of us when we got home spent few hours in the toilet not good!! Very over priced aswell don’t risk it people😬🤢

I put 1 star because I can't without! Orrible! 🤢 They have the sign as an Italian restaurant but they have nothing of Italian and I am Italian, so, I know my kitchen!! Never ever! Also this in my black list

We ordered two carbonara's and a garlic bread. The dish was swimming in grease, tasteless and full of fatty ham that was inedible. For the cost of the order (£32.00 for just 3 items) I was very disappointed.
