Cinnamon Restaurant in Leeds

Ordered a takeaway for 6pm, it was ready on time even with a very busy restaurant. It was the best Indian cuisine we have had for a very long time and made a perfect dinner for my wife’s birthday all cosy in our caravan. Sadly we don’t live in this area or this would definitely be our restaurant of choice. So thank you Cinnamon of Yeadon, well done all. Cheers Ian & Mandy

We were visiting my daughter, her husband, and their new baby. We went to the cinnamon Restaurant for a meal on our last in Yeadon. The waiters were all fabulous, friendly, helpful, polite, and made sure we were well looked after. We opted for the set meal option, which was absolute value for money. We were each given poppadoms and sauces whilst waiting for our starters. It was £14.95 per person and it consisted of, a choice of starters, a sizzling grill of various foods, a main course of a choice of curries, a side and a sundry, (choice of rice's or choice of naan breads) It was worth every penny, then after the meal we were given ice cream for dessert. It was all very filling and very delicious.

Had a beautiful fish meal here. Alcohol served, though I had alcohol free beer, which was available, too. Very calm atmosphere, busy without being packed on a Thursday night. The service was friendly and quick. Toilet clean. We had a great night here. We've been half a dozen times now and loved it every time. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices. They also do takeaway.

I and my partner dine in at this restaurant 1st time. Food was really tasty specially Garlic Chili Chicken and Lamb Birayni. Chicken TK is okay but need to improve Birayni Sauce. 100% Satisfied and Indian Cuisine👍. Highly Recommend. Their Sunday Banquet 4 courses is really cheaper than main menu. It's value for money I think. We will try next Sunday as well. Thanks

It's not real Indian food. Owners are not Indian either I guess. The naan was ok but biryani and curry are not authentic neither tasty. Also who puts peas in chicken biryani? Lol - they do! Shame.

Enjoyed a takeaway @ Cinnamon. Staff were perfect and the food. Wooow Fast service and excelllent. The Keema Naga spicy curry was tasty,spicy and flavour some. Mmm. Its always a privilege to pop in

Absolutely lovely food, quick service and friendly staff. We ordered from the main menu which had a great choice but they do specials e.g. Wednesday is 4 course meal for £15 (see pictures). Will be going again.

Visited on a Friday, stuffed ourselves with poppadum, starters and mains.. Our group had a mixture of golden oldies (bhuna, rogan Josh) and some of their specialities (afgani)... 10/10 for each

Ate here yesterday, first time since the pandemic. We choose the Sunday Banquet. All the food was beautiful. We all enjoyed our food and left very little !!!! Excellent value for money too . We will definitely be back.

So, we dont get here as often as we would like (you know, cost of living crisis n that- thanks politicians), but every single time we do, it’s always amazing. The staff always remember who you are (our waiter even remembered what our daughter usually has) and nothing is too much trouble. I have almost worked my way through the chefs specialties and I have to say, not one thing have I been disappointed in. Please please go and give this restaurant a visit, you will not be disappointed, trust me. Last nights choices were the Liver Tikka to start, Lamb Multani for OH and a Lanka Piaza for myself. Anyway, huge thanks to all the staff and chefs for another excellent dining experience 10/10

In ten years of take aways and on the odd occasion dinning in the restaurant I have never once had a meal that was less than delicious! I highly recommend this place for both take aways and restaurant meals.

Portions are so small and so expensive, cheap chicken and tiny tiny portions. Had two curries, a starter and poppadoms and a naan and didn't even half cover the plate. Gutted as was supposed to be a treat.

My God!!!! I have walked, driven, ran passed this establishment for 12 years and always thought it must be good as it is still there. So, today, 2nd March 2024 I visited!! It was honestly phenomenal....I am buzzing!! Just go, really, honesty go!!!!

Absolutely beautiful meal would highly recommend

Im not usually the one to do reviews but i just had a curry from here a and it had absolutely no flavour at all, it almost looks like its just been bought from the shop and warmed up in the microwave, the naan was on the colder side and was quite a lot smaller than most other curry restaurants with again not much flavour to the garlic. I may have just got a bad batch of the sauces they use so this might not go for every curry from there.

Really nice food in a really nice atmosphere. Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were on it with the service. We went on a banquet night which is 4 courses for £14.99 (starter, main dish, rice and ice cream) but didn’t get anything from the banquet menu as it was a very limited choice and didn’t have my usual choice available so just ordered from the normal menu. If you don’t go mad you’ll be paying around £20 a head from the normal menu for pickle tray, shared starter, mains with rice and breads. Drinks obviously start adding up quickly. The staff are friendly and more than happy to engage with you between courses which makes for a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.

Me and my husband had a rare child free evening so decided to go eat in for the first time (my husband gets take aways regularly). The food was delicious, hot and fresh. Service was efficient without feeling rushed and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We are lucky to have a local restaurant like this right on our doorstep. Would highly recommend a visit!

We had the Sunday banquet which was such good value for money. For our mains we had an afghani curry and nawabi Khan . They were both delicious. U also get poppadoms, a starter to share, a side, a naan bread and rice! Amazing food.

Whenever we have a Leeds Bradford flight we come to this fantastic restaurant. Great choice of dishes...very tasty all at a very reasonable price. Friendly service as always.. definitely recommend if you are in the area..give it a good.. you won't be disappointed..

We tried several restaurants around Otley, this is our favourite. We go there nearly every week. Our favourite is Fauladi. My kids like their sizzling mix starters. Their naan bread is handmade so be sure to order some....on Sundays, they have special banquet deal...I think it's quite good value!!!

Very busy and we hadn't booked but they found us a table. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful.

Recommend. Lovely food, very comfortable atmosphere. Our waiter was friendly and helped us out with explaining dishes and making recommendations. Nice and relaxed between courses, not rushed. Price good..shared a kebab starter, had 2 mains 4 chapati, 2 beers and one wine at just under 44 pounds. Will definitely return..added next morning just to say didn't have any of the effects associated with curry ie heartburn or raging thirst 🙂

Great value, very accommodating and tasty food

Went out for dinner for Sunday evening. Fantastic value, less than £30 on food for 4 courses! Poppadoms with pickles, a mixed starter for two, two mains, two sides and a bowl of ice cream,(if you can manage after 3 courses!) The food was all delicious, fresh, hot and fragrant. I don't think I will be going elsewhere for a while. No need to tavel to Leeds for a proper curry. Highly recommend. Two pints, two g&t's and full tummy's all for under £50. Little gem!

What a fabulous restaurant. On Sunday we had a birthday celebration for 12 and service was brilliant as was the food. A big thank you to all the staff who worked so hard, and made this a great night

Went for a family meal on a Saturday night the service was brilliant looked after given more dips and the meals contained a lot more meat than you normally get of some places that's all sauce. Have various dishes off the menu to share. Would come again or or take out with the offer of a sixth free meal

We thought we would try the Sunday banquet deal (4 courses for £13) and we were really impressed. The service was amazing all night and the waiters made us feel really welcome whilst having a laugh. The food was unreal as well, fresh pickle tray and popadoms followed by a sizzling starter selection. The mains were also delicious served with homemade garlic breads which were super fresh. Will deffo be returning and highly recommend if you’re debating going for a local Yeadon curry.

Really great food. Staff are attentive and polite. We really enjoyed our meal. It was our first time here. The main downside is the place is really bland from a decor point of view and could do with some improvement. And there was quite a lack of atmosphere when we went.

We came here just from ratings and we're are work mates staying near by so a brief walk from the premiere Inn just down the road! Well I am so very glad we found this place! The food was incredible! We had a set menu which came with poppadoms and dip then a set starter which was a sharer with loads of options. I had a chicken dopiaza for the main which was perfect! Full of flavours and really really nice! With a peshwari naan... I just love peshwari! Mmmm! My work mates had the dish with like 25 or so ingredients in it and they could not speak highly enough of it! Said it was beautiful! Topped off with a couple of pints of cobra and very friendly staff! Could not ask for more! If I stay down this way again I will definitely visit again! Thanks all!

Absolutely shattered experience when did my take away to the hotel we are staying. The hotel said they don’t do any cutleries or paper plates and we had to eat with our hands and in the takeaway box provided. They couldn’t even give us a drink as complimentaries. I will never recommend this restaurant for a take away. The food wasn’t too bad.

Ordered our first takeaway from Cinnamon after local recommendations. It was superb, we were very impressed with the flavours, and the chicken chaat in particular was delicious! And overall it wasn’t too oily either (hate curries that are too oily! Realise the oil Imparts flavour in cooking but there is a limit!). Delivered very quickly (even though we live deep in Cragg Woods!) and we will be ordering again for sure!

Very disappointing! Our order was sagg paneer, aloo gobi, tarka dhal, and garlic naans. Unfortunately there was no spice at all and all of the dishes were bland. Portion sizes were also very small for what we paid the main course of saag paneer filled about a 3rd of the container. For what are fairly inexpensive veggie ingredients we would have expected much more. Won’t order from Cinnamon again.

First class food and service. One of the nicest curries I've had in a long time. Masks were worn by all staff, hand sanitiser was available to use and social distancing was observed throughout. Highly recommended 🙂

Just got a chicken tikka masala very watery and lack taste 4 bits off chicken in a large bowl Mushroom rice very bland and overall disappointing for £8.45 never again.

We go here a lot, always really good fresh food and at an amazing price, especially Sunday when.tjey do a 4 course meal for a tenner, can't fault it here, highly recommend it

Ordered a lamb bhuna With rice very bland taste and an effortless attempt at a lamb bhuna and to top it off very expensive..avoid if you like nice curries..

Sunday Banquet. Four courses that includes poppadoms and pickle tray to start with and ice cream to finish for less than a tenner. Absolute bargain and superbly tasty brilliant food to boot. Easily worth double the price and that's what I paid.

Possibly the best Indian takeaway that we've tried in the area. After an unfortunate mix up with the address/telephone number the staff did all they could to make sure our order arrived hot and as quickly as possible. We were happy to forgive the error as the food was delicious and was still hot as promised. Good value too.
