The Best! ❤ We have been coming here for years. Lakis Fish Bar offers a variety of food and each one is cooked to perfection. We have never ever had a bad experience here. The family is lovely and very down to earth, this really shows in the atmosphere once you walk in. We highly recommend them to everyone. Love going there, great place, been popping in for years. Great to see that they are back on their feet after the fire. The portion shown is just a mini Fish meal but it was huge. They make sure you get your tasty monies worth. Unlike others in the area. Would easy return again and again.

Good food not too expensive. Parking round the back as it is on the road. I noticed a wheelchair user get served at the door. They are very good like that.

I’m usually a bit cautious when getting chicken kebab as I often find there’s more fat than meat, but I decided to take the risk after seeing this businesses food on their social media (I’ve been following them since their devastating fire) and I’m glad I did. Their portion sizes are very generous and their food is immaculate. Smashes my local chippy out of the park all day long and they’re good. Will be returning. Cheers guys

Where to start. This place used to be nice, the kebab was best about. But since that useless review man showed up at lakis its gone down hill major. Iv given it the benefit of the doubt for the past 3 times and all 3 times its gone in the bin (i have a 2 dogs who i wouldn't even give them the waste). Like i said it used to be very very nice place. The staff on the other hand are always nice and polite but i dont know what they've changed or doing since the review man has been but they need to stop it and stop it now

We saw it on rate my takeaway YouTube channel few weeks ago. Staff very friendly and the food is good quality. We ordered pork gyros and lamb gyros and tray of mixed meat oh wow it didn’t disappoint plus we had to try their homemade mushy peas amazing. We will be back 😋😋😋 Would recommend

Great fresh chips, the frying oils are clean and the shop is very popular, as can be seen by the queue to the door early at the evening's opening time. Well worth the drive from Sheffield to Barnsley for an excellent fried meal

Wow our first gyros here in Cudworth well worth the 15 minute drive. Moist tender well seasoned chicken, lovely soft pita, great banter and fabulous owners. Will be back on repeat.

Called in for the first time this evening, the food was apbsolutely incredible! Very reasonably priced! And the service you recieve will be second to none, we will be back 💙

Lovely place and lovely people that own/work here. Queued quite a while because it was so popular and they were working so quickly! I came to pay and my debit card wasn't where I usually keep it. My heart dropped and I ran out to get my husbands. When I got back in to pay the lovely lady asked if I was OK and gave me a bottle of water. Customer service is amazing, food is amazing and prices are extremely reasonable especially with the quality of food! They chat to people and have a laugh while you queue too. I'd definitely return here. Thank you.

The peas are the worst colour ever. To the point it put my husband off eating them even though they tasted nice. I had a medium special fish & chips. Awww it was to die for. The fish was the best I have ever tasted. So 4 stars for the peas but this place is beautiful, clean & with lovely staff. Please go see for yourself. Hubby will try curry sauce 😊

Absolutely gorgeous Gyros and Kebabs, big portions and great quality, lovely fish and chips and lovely people, even the salad is hand cut and fresh. 👌

We have donner kebab and kebab meet and chips and it's excellent every time its the best around. Never had a bad meal and the staff are great. Always chatty and friendly and now after the refit the food is still just as good and the shop now looks great. Hope all goes well for you guys will be back soon. I live in barnsley town centre and am used to paying town centre prices however when I visited lakis in cudworth I was shocked when the lady said £11.49 for fish chips and curry sauce that just ridiculous it's £7.50 in town centre wich you expect to pay more it's not far off double the price, why? They keep saying shop local use local shops no thanks not if all they are doing is ripping you off. FAR TOO EXPENSIVE in times like this as well is just shocking

Staff are amazing and their food especially their authentic Gyros is absolutely outstanding. I'd recommend the Chicken and Pork One.

Love the peas only lakis do the best

Chips here were nice but the vinegar was watered down quite a lot. Asked to have them open instead of wrapped but no tray provided so paper got super soggy. Didn't have any cheese which was disappointing. May try again to get scores higher but overall a very average experience.

The passion these guys have for their shop, shows in their quality food and genuinely friendly service. The food tastes absolutely fantastic and fresh each and every time, and the ladies and gents working there really are so nice. They have really looked after the community during Covid-19, and frankly have been a stable to many. Love goinv here they are so friendly, its run my a lovely family. They do a pork and lamb kebab its made from real chunks of lamd and pork, we get this every time we go with garlic and chilli sauce. Me and my daughter share its very yummy and very good for the price. They do a kids meal with small sausage and fish with chips and side for £2.99 and its great sizes. Would highly recommend going here and trying their food it tastes amazing we wont go anywhere else. They dont offer delivery i wish they would but my health is probably thankful they dont 😂.

We travel from Sheffield to Barnsley to visit this fish & chip shop because its the best . Its spotless and the chips etc are so tasty ,none greasy and the batter is superb (not to mention the lovely mushy peas) I usually have digestive problems when ive eaten chips but not from here ,their amazing . The staff are lovely ,its always a pleasure to visit .
