The best restaurants in West Midlands

Visitado según lo recomendado por un amigo. No estoy seguro de si algo ha ido seriamente mal, pero transmite la peor comida india que he comido. Decidió ir por el plato para 4 personas para facilitar. Teníamos poppadoms y dips para empezar, la raita era acuosa, una picante que solo sabía a chile y nada más, y un plato de lechuga cortada pequeña, zanahoria y cebolla! Nuestro plato llegó y tuvimos 2 platos calientes de varias carnes, algunos de ellos en el lado quemado y un poco de pan naan. 10 minutos después cogimos el biriyani y un poco más de pan naan, bueno este era un bol lleno de arroz que claramente había tenido un accidente con la olla cardamon, ya que sabía a jabón puro. También tenía algunos trozos de hueso en él que estoy seguro de que como algún punto estaba unido a algún cordero. El plato también tenía postre que sí pedimos cambiar por otro plato salado sin embargo nuestra solicitud fue rechazada. Cuando el postre apareció con el biriyani tenía 3 bolas dulces de algo... ...era un plato para 4 personas! La pareja sentada a nuestro lado estaban igualmente decepcionados con su comida, así que dejaron su comida casi intacta. Solo había un miembro del personal visible que claramente no tenía idea, pero apenas parecía sorprendido o preocupado cuando se le dieron comentarios sobre la comida. Él dio un 20% de descuento en nuestra factura, pero todavía siente que este lugar no debería servir comida en absoluto. ¡Evita a toda costa!

Just reopened and the holden beer is greate. Nice and friendly landlord and landlady. The bar staff are nice to.

A little bit run down, but an excellent venue. Disappointed that there was no real ale available, nor any Guinness zero. That said, the real Guiness was excellent. The food looked good, though I didn't get to try any. Will definitely give it a try next time, hoping that there is a next time.

Warm friendly helpful service and delicious curried parsnip soup with nice bread and proper butter. And tea in lovely mugs. So good!

This place has Fantastic yummy food and lovely service. Really enjoyed my evening super fast at bringing the food out and it was still hot.

Fui a los fabricantes de armas para el almuerzo de pensionistas el martes Tengo que decir que el almuerzo era gran carne asada con todos los adornos incluyendo una bebida de su elección por £ 5 servido en un martes si tienes más de 60 E incluso conseguir un pudín por £ 2 lo mucho que el personal era genial que hacen esto solo un martes o té de día con una bebida por el mismo precio Lo recomiendo totalmente

Amazing restaurant with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere! The staff are also so friendly yet professional and catered for gluten free so well! The best fine dining I've been to!

Our regular takeaway/ delivery, usually so good Tonight, the food was appalling?? Poppadoms were stale and ruined because they had been put in the bag with the hot food? My usual ceylon chicken was bright red in colour, no flavour, bland, chicken poor quality? The garlic and cheese nan was more like a pizza? Oily and tasteless Chicken pakora looked like it came from Iceland, bland and oozing old oil. Same for the shami and shish kebabs, onion bhajiis. Bombay aloo was overcooked, Oily and a startling shade of bright red, Tarka dhal is usually so flavourful. Tonight it just tasted bitter? Chips were not cooked/ oozing old oil? SO disappointed What a waste of £50 Will not be ordering from here ever again and would appreciate a refund, (from the restaurant directly as you were happy to send out this unacceptable food)

Brilliant experience, will visit again. Waitresses were excellent and very friendly and attentive. Food was tremendous, I'd recommend the Stilton and broccoli soup and Venison Ragu.

I always have a nice meal. I have the same meal. Chicken Dansak. It always has pineapple in. This time there wasn't any. Far too much of the red stuff which I'm sure is past the regulated measurement.

Our second time ordering from this house. Firstly, our bread was not delivered along with our original order. We did have to wait for nearly 40 minutes for the delivery man to return. However… this is the best Indian food I have ever had the privilege of tasting in my entire life. The Keema Pathia is outrageously flavoursome. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be this. Thank you to the chef, owner and the very friendly delivery driver. We shall see you again soon.

Great food again guys but then order naan breads there's never any filling in side this is every time order
