Had my granddaughter's christening party at the gunmakers all the staff especially Sam were absolutely brilliant food was fantastic. First time in the pub and we will definitely definitely be going again. Thank you Sammy for a great day x

Mi marido y yo vinimos a su especial de los martes de más de 60, una comida y una bebida por 5 libras, con un descuento de 1 libras cada uno para unirse al club. Los dos comimos pollo asado, mi marido una pinta y yo agua. Honestamente puedo decir que fue una delicia de principio a fin. El pub era cálido, el personal muy amable. La comida era muy buena relación calidad-precio, muy sabrosa con todos los adornos con las mejores patatas asadas que he tenido. ¡Todo por 5 libras! Qué ganga. Sin duda volveremos pronto. Pruébalos.

Este pub es nuestro local. Un encantador pub con un salón y un bar, usamos ambos. Personal acogedor, ambiente familiar y cómodo, y Sammy siempre va más allá para sus clientes regulares o nuevos! Siempre grandes ofertas en bebidas, comida recién cocinada encantadora, buenas mazorcas viejas y crujientes, entretenimiento en vivo regular y eventos de temporada divertidos para toda la familia. ¡Nos encanta la máquina de discos en el bar! Tiene todas las canciones que puedas imaginar viejas y nuevas, Y aún mejor - ¡es gratis e ilimitado un viernes por la noche! Supporting our Young Minds Fundraiser in memory of one of our students. Sammy-Jo went out of her way to make sure the business helped our event by donating a selection of generous prizes. Visité a los fabricantes de armas con la familia para unas bebidas post Navidad, nos dieron la bienvenida y nos recibieron con una sonrisa de Sammy - jo que fue más allá para nosotros. Los niños realmente lo disfrutaron y el personal se apresuró a gastar unas cuantas bromas con ellos : ) ambiente encantador. Limpio y ordenado, no puede salir mal, sin duda volverá

Visiting family last friday(13th), taken to Gumakers Arms and the experience was amazing. The beer (Amber) was excellent and the staff were fantastic ( two guys and a young lady). Will be coming in again on our next visit from the south.

Not been in here for some time, decoration not changed and looking tired. No real ale pumps so had something called Neck Oil. Tasted OK, but at £5.15 a pint was a bit expensive for a pub in the suburbs of Wolverhampton.

Great value sunday dinner to take away, lovely home cooked dinner, tasty and such a good price. Food ready at time agreed pub has a lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Will be visiting again.

Went there saturday with family. Bar staff were chatty and it was a nice family atmosphere. Bought back a bit of 90s nostalgia of a drinking pub. Grey paes n bacon are good! Slab of bread and butter to dip it in too. Drinks were very good prices and the manager purposely asked us if wed enjoyed ourselves as we were heading out, which was a nice touch. As a side note I would love to see some cheese n onion cobs and going by the grey paes, sammy can cook well. I hope one day she will consider smashing out some roast dinners on a sunday as the local area is missing the homecooked roast. This would be a great venue to book for private functions too. 100% we will be returning.

Great local pub, not may drinking pubs left. Friendly bar staff and locals and the Manager Sammy Jo goes the extra mile to make the pub welcoming. If you are lucky enough to visit when there are grey peas and bacon available they are the best you’ll get in the back country. A Jukebox box in the bar is also a great touch and very popular.

Me & my partner absolutely love coming here for drinks on a evening as it is really relaxed and always a good vibe. The staff are really friendly and the manager Sammy is an amazing lady!! Drfo our favourite local pub !

OK BUT NEED San Miguel on drought

If your looking for a traditional family friendly pub this is the place. Landlady is very friendly and welcoming. Food is your typical pub grub and very tasty. Every one is made to feel welcome.

Came with hubby for aftetnoon meal. Very good choice of food, well presented and tasty. Prices reasonable. Check serving hours before going as they vary week days to weekends. Staff helpful and friendly.

Went for an afternoon meal, very impressed with the new menu, plenty of choice, including old favourites. The service was good, the presentation of the meal was excellent, quality very good. Would certainly recommend as the pub has had it's problems in the past. Give it a try and make Sam's day!

First day of the new menu at The Gunners today , I had the chilli was fab all half price this may bank holiday weekend(Friday 3rd May- Monday 6th May . Worth a visit , fast service . Accommodates families. Friendly staff. All home cooked food. Offers on drinks

Didn't have food but it's a lovely, friendly pub

This place isn't worth going to, the food is nasty and cold, the glasses have been dirty more than once, the women's toilets have leaked all over the floor so I've had to use the men's which was just as bad, U need to watch Ur pockets and handbags cause of the druggies that go in will make friends and pinch off U. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

great pub but decor is not as good as the roebuck on the Penn Road not as clean and perfer the lounge area to the bar side. if marstons gave it a refurbishment it would be better and hpa beer on draught would be better

great place to get a drink put cleaning like on some seats and booths could be improved and if had cobs that would be better

Perfect pub… drinks are excellent and it’s great that sky sports is on. The staff and landlady are very friendly and we would defo return 👍🏻

The best pub in the local area by a country mile, traditional décor with none of the cheap feel of a chain pub, friendly staff and locals, good selection of beers including local and guest ales as well as common favourites, pool table and dartboard in the bar plus numerous screens in both the bar and lounge all showing sports. Well heated in the winter and plenty of outdoor seating for the summer. Would definitely recommend popping in for a drink or two.

Been using the Gunmakers Arms for years and found Tom a member of staff very pleasant . He always serves with a smile and he is prompt with it .The pub is very lucky to have him as a member of staff

Great pub and exceptional service by Tom the barman. Traditional boozer with a good atmosphere. Food is always decent and good value.

Used this place for years.new landlady last year and what a turn around she’s achieved.great selection of beers reasonably priced and now the kitchen is open although the menu is not the biggest there’s enough to cater for children and adults.bar staff quick to serve you but a big mention for Lucy.she’s so attentive to making the tables are cleared and cleaned and she even serves the pensioners their drinks at their table to save them waiting at the bar.she’s just so dedicated as all the staff are.great work keep it up and hopefully our local traditional pub will be here for a long time.see you all later.

Our juicy Lucy always serves with a smile. Friendly and accommodating even doing table service for those with disabilities. Can't fault her.

Popped here for the first time. Drinks were quite cheap but found the place to be quite dead for a Saturday night. No music or anything but seemed like the locals were all having a laugh outside.

This pub comes highly recommended! The owners are so friendly and go that extra mile to make you feel really welcome. We used the whole bar area for a wedding celebration and it was perfect,plenty of space and the added bonus was the courtyard 😊 thank you for everything you did for us

As some lesser beers might suggest: "probably the best beer in Wolverhampton" and currently, the longest serving landlord in Wolverhampton, and the Marston's group. Fabulous pub serving exceptionally kept ales from the Marston's range, with a warm welcome from staff and customers alike. Great food when available, best to book ahead to guarantee a meal! Can get very busy on match days, especially if Wolves are playing at home or televised. Other sports shown on several unobtrusive screens around the pub, so definitely not a typical sports bar!

A great typical boozer, run by the management couple in the traditional way. Clean, plenty of tables and a good choice of beers, spirits and wines. Sky TV too so good for sports.

Sells very nice alcohol and some disappointing not so fizzy drinks.

Beer is kept well here. Just right for a pint of Banks' This is a drinkers' pub, a local ... remember them? Not many left these days. Opposite is Critchleys hardware. A proper shop where the bloke at the counter knows what he's talking about. Not many of those left these days either.

My favourite pub since going there when 18 years old and now 64. One of the few places where banks's mild still on draught.

This is a Greene King chain owned pub, without any Greene King ales on sale ;( Food is available during the day but sadly not in the evening. The interior is pleasant enough but a little dated I thought.
