Bella Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Lovely food and service. Not sure why the arancini are served with crisps but it was nice. I had penne arabiata as a main which had just the right spiciness.

Had a lovely meal here with a friend. The atmosphere is lovely and the welcome warm. The staff were very attentive and friendly. My only negative was the push on the specials was a little much. My friend was slightly uncomfortable when we had to say no a few times. Once should be enough. We shared a pizza to start (unconventional I know), the base was light and melt in the mouth with the gooey cheese deliciousness. I had duck to start which was well cooked and tasty and my friend had the lobster linguine. Profiteroles and lightest cheese cake I’ve had in a long while. All in all a great place, independent, and busy. Will be going back for sure.

All nice if a little on the small side

I had some food from here the weekend and it was awful. flavourless and dry. I think I would have been happier with a home made Dolmio.

Sorry guys but very average food . Wrong order bought out , tiramsu had no coffee or alcohol in it at all. Nice location staff lovely but food I had not that good .

Shocking experience tonight. Table of 3 - 1 person was stuck in traffic on motorway so was going to be late so we asked if we could order and eat starters and then when our friend arrived we order mains together. We were told no this wasn't possible. We were told we can't eat starters with menus by us as they would get sticky? We were then asked to ring our friend and take her order so they can start it?? Just a very strange experience. We just paid for our drinks and left and when we said we are leaving the staff weren't even bothered. Never again. No atmosphere in the place at all either.

The food is fantastic and the staff are attentive.

This restaurant is not a very big restaurant but food was divine and big on taste, We had a carbanara with chicken and for dessert had a strawberry cheesecake. If your every in this area please check it out it will not disappoint.

Food and atmosphere is always great here. Have been going here for years but last 2 visits including tonight there was one particular member of staff who I think was the manager was very rude. I had missed calls and messages re confirming my booking which due to having a busy day did not reply to and when we arrived were seated on table before we were approached by this member of staff who asked to speak to person who had booked then went on to lecture, humiliate and embarrass me for not returning call or message which was a genuine mistake. I appreciate they wanted confirmation however as a guest she did not seek to understand, just a polite reminder to let me know would have been fine but to belittle and humiliate a guest is completely unacceptable. This would be the main reason I will not return to dine here. No matter what this is no way to treat a guest! I’ve worked in hospitality for 20 years and would be horrified if any member of my team ever spoke to a guest like this!

Noisy like a fish market!! PATHETIC preposterously overpriced food - Burnt pizza, flavourless Pasta as well a tomahawk steak which was disgusting. Absolute rip off!! Never again.

Food is average, nothing special and expensive. Place is really clean staff were attentive. Couldn’t hear our selves talk ,far too loud. Food was dry and cold , waited sometime for my extra to go with my food.will not be rushing back.

Charming Italian with a nice selection of gluten free options. It gets very busy later on so get an early booking ;). I had the scallops to start with & salmon with peas puree for the main. I usually loathe sorbet as a coeliac but the mango one is delish x

Food is average, nothing special and expensive. Step into restaurant is dangerous and there is no warning tape on it. Staff constantly telling you to mind the step - health and safety alert!

Had another takeaway last week. All the food was cooked to the usual high standard. Very good value for money. The steak cooked to perfection. Many thanks once again.

Really disappointed with a recent trip to this restaurant. The staff rushed us through food and drinks and resulted in taking each glass away immediately after you finished your last sip. Also handing us the bill immediately after finishing our main. We could have wanted dessert! This was quite early in the evening with a sizeable number of us. There really was no need especially when paying an awful lot. The food was very under seasoned and definitely not freshly made pasta which you would hope for at this price. Very loud and drafty which you wouldn’t mind if the overall experience was nice. Definitely won’t be heading back there any time soon.

Lovely food nice staff.They were training staff at time and room was a bit cold but we was first in the door.Wouldnt have minded in a cheaper restaurant but when you are spending £100 as a couple and not drinking alcohol it was an ambience killer.

Amazing staff, food, drink and service. I had dined last year and was pleased with mostly the food which lived up to expectations. I hired the restaurant for my birthday celebrations on 8th January 2023. The communication from start to finish was excellent with responses within a reasonable timeframe. All information requested was clear for me to organise my private dining experience. The presentation of the welcome drinks was creative as I had no idea what non-alcohol alternative to the Prosecco Bellini’s would look like. I put my trust in the staff and was not disappointed. The feedback from my 35 invited guest, including the children is a 5 star, thumps up. Thank you Nadia and all the staff who made my kick off birthday celebration for 2023 memorable.

We didn't have a reservation and we were given a table without any issue (the place was nearly full when we arrived!). The food was brilliant, we ordered arancini and fried calamari as starter followed by fegato (liver) and pesce spada (sword fish). Millefoglie was the special dessert of the night. Everything was cooked to perfection and, being Italian, we are very picky with food. Great service, lovely atmosphere, this restaurant was an amazing discovery! Highly recommended! Thanks for the lovely dinner and for the limoncello!

Lovely food, good service and a nice place to visit. A little pricey and no draught beers, so only bottles on sale and the downside to this, is that can make it expensive. They're not charging anymore than you would pay anywhere else (£4) for birra moretti or peroni, but that makes it £8 a pint! Overall excellent though and will definitely return

My meal was excellent however we seemed to be rushed through pre drinks and starter, didn't make for a relaxing meal.

Lovely meals, lovely restaurant, polite and helpful staff. One piece of advice for the chef though, there was no pecorino flavour at all in the carbonara.... it tasted like parmigiano was the only cheese in it as there was no sharpness/saltiness that you would have in an authentic carbonara using pecorino romano. It was a nice dish, but not what I would call an authentic carbonara. Guanciale would help instead of pancetta and please stop putting cream in it.

Clean and bright restaurant with very attentive staff. Had the midweek special which was 2 courses for £20 with dessert for £5.00 excellent food, staff very friendly and welcoming. Been a very long time since last visit but will be going more often now.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was very impressed. The staff were welcoming and introduced their selves to the guest on arrival and at the table. More importantly the resturant was warm and very clean. The menu had a very wide selection. I had a aubergine dish as a starter, this was absolutely fantastic, full of flavours. One of the best aubergine recipe I have ever tasted. Not forgetting the lasagne, full of flavours. I nor my friends could not find fault with any of our meals. The meals all came out on time. Francesca (waitress) was so accommodating, friendly and professional. In fact all the staff appeared very friendly and were all professional. One of the best resturant within Wolverhampton City. Definitely worth a visit for that special occasion 🙂.

Really enjoyed our recent meal for a table of 8, everyone enjoyed the food and would definitely return to try more from the menu. The service was very good, even with a full restaurant. Couldn't fault Bella at all.

Lovely food but a certain member of staff by the name of Francesca was extremely rude. Shame as this was my first experience of eating out at an Italian restaurant and I would not return or recommend. We as customers choose to spend our money carefully especially in this current climate. Rude staff do not deserve custom

Was really looking forward to trying this restaurant but was disappointed. Food was average, overpriced and staff were not particularly welcoming. I was meeting with friends I hadn't seen for a while and looking forward to catching up with them whilst sharing good food. We were hassled to leave as soon as we had finished our meal. I could understand this if it was a busy Saturday evening but it was a quiet lunchtime with hardly any other customers. I won't be going there again sadly

Very good food good staff but for me it was very noisy. But that may be my age.

Bustling Italian restaurant, loads of atmosphere. Staff friendly and really attentive without being intrusive. Lovely menu with lots of difficult choices to make! Food was all excellent, no long waits even on a busy Saturday night. Fish mixed grill was fab, beautifully cooked - crispy skin but not overcooked. £220 for 4 of us with beer, wine, 3 courses, port and coffee. Don't think I've had a better Italian meal and considered it excellent value.

If you like hot spicey, tropical flavoured food, this is not the restaurant for you. Food is very bland, not much choice of sauces to add to meal just a sprinkle of pepper, or olive oil. Customer service is excellent.

Enjoyed the food. Portions could have been bigger, the starters were a little small, I am a big eater though
