Food excellent. Atmosphere poor, staff not as friendly as our previous visit. Young waiter kept forgetting to bring requests. We all felt as though we were unwelcome.

Very busy but that didn't distract from excellent food snd service. Will definitely return

Excellent Italian restaurant in the centre of Wolverhampton! Went in Tuesday night pre Football and the place was packed and buzzing. Nico and the team were rushed of their feet, but provided amazing service. Lasagne was meaty, filling and extremely tasty would recommend 100%!

I've been to the restaurant about four times before going to the football. My wife's family are italian so I think I know a bit about italian food. The food here is good as is the service and reasonably priced. Looking forward to my next visit

The whole experience surpassed all expectations, probably the best Italian food we have ever eaten! The portion sizes, flavour, presentation were all wonderful , the timing between courses gave opportunity to chat and catch up. Friendly attentive service without being intrusive, cant wait to return.

Food really good, staff pretty laid back. Had the same song playing the whole time we were there.

Not visited for around 8 years- still awesome. Service was commendable, room was warm and tables nicely spaced. Veal was tender and exceptionally tasty. Wine delicious and desserts- perfection.

Staying overnight in Wolverhampton for a gig we were looking for somewhere nice to go for dinner. My husband came across Rosso E Nero on line and being pasta lovers we decided to give it a try. There’s only one word to describe the food we had and that’s ’Amazing’. We decided to go for starts and mains, the hubby went for Gamberetti All'glio - prawns in garlic & chilli sauce and I went for Tagliatelle al Salmone which could also be had a main. For mains the hubby went for a fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and I went for Medaglioni alla Diana. Both these dishes were served with a side of veggies and roast potatoes. We also had a side of fries which weren’t really needed. The food and served was fabulous and I’d 100% recommend Rosso E Nero to anyone visiting or living in the area.

Right in the middle of the city centre. The time we visited was a bit quieter as it was for a birthday celebration. Food and Service was impeccable. Our Waiter was very attentive. Few issues with the temperature received on the steak but an immediate replacement received.

Catered for forty for family meal last night. Excellent service lovely food. Would highly recommend for big parties

A lovely Italian restaurant in the centre of Wolverhampton. We've eaten here before and decided to go back & we were not disappointed Restaurant is nicely decorated and festive with the simple but nice Christmas decorations. Very clean throughout We ordered spaghetti carbonara and lasagna for our main course followed by Panna cotta & strawberry cheesecake. Food was delicious, service was excellent had a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend

We have been here several times over the past few years and going again next month. The atmosphere is pleasant and we have always been treated incredibly well by the staff. The food is to die for and prices whilst not the cheapest are very reasonable given the quality of the food that is served. When I telephone them with a query they are incredibly polite and respectful. No complaints whatsoever !

Dropped in for dinner with a friend while our daughters were at a concert at The Halls. Great choice the meal was perfection. Scallops to start, smoked salmon tagliatelle for main and amaretto torte and cappuccino to finish... all delicious. Attentive but not intrusive service. Shame I don't live closer

This is the perfect venue for a pre or post theatre meal. Authentic Italian cooking from an extensive and varied menu. The restaurant is also airy with spacious table settings.

Food average the only Italian that doesn't do meatballs. Had a Calzone not impressed wife had spaghetti bologense that was the worst she has ever had. Will never eat here again.

First visited in January with a group of 12 for lunch and it was faultless. Visited again today for lunch as a group of 5. We had one bowl of vegetables between 3 people, which contained beans, carrots but only 2 pieces of Cauliflower and 5 roast potatoes. My sister's meal cost £23.95, so it was only fair she had two potatoes, my daughter had 2 potatoes and I had one. That means on my salmon with asparagus (which only had 1 stick of asparagus) I also only had 1 potato and some French beans and carrots, as there wasn't enough to have Cauliflower each. I didn't want to spoil the day because we had a show booked at the theatre so I didn't complain and I paid the bill fully but I won't be back again. The pasta meals were good value, the drinks were priced well including alcoholic drinks and coffees but to spend £56.95 for 5 small roast potatoes, 2 bits of Cauliflower and a few veg between 3, when previously I had this amount to myself is just not fair. I like to support local restaurants but no more. The young waiter who came in later in our service was lovely but the older Italian guy needs to smile more...he makes the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. Now I can see why there was no one there on a busy Saturday lunchtime :(

Arrived table not ready, head waiter just shrugged his shoulders. When our table was ready it was placed next to a hen party. Asked to be moved to another table, waiter just shrugged his shoulders again. We left and went to another restaurant.

Not the biggest menu, but good food, good staff, and good service.

5.20pm Thursday. Food very nicely cooked and presented, reasonably priced. Quiet evening with one member of floor staff who took order, served food poured drinks, gave us our bill...he did everything !! No nonsense service. Restaurant nice and tidy but soooo cold and music bit too loud for amount of people in there. Would visit again maybe on busier night /time. Would recommend as price was reasonable for what we had.

The best Italian restaurant for miles, food is sublime and the service is always excellent. Been here as a couple and with family and quality and atmosphere have always been fabulous.

First time here and not overly impressed, the staff were great , the atmosphere was ok but quite loud. As a party of 4 we all had something different, mine wasn't the best , starter was ok but the main meat dish was over cooked. On the plus side the pizzas here are wonderful, maybe its just down to individual taste as it seems a popular place, might go back for a pizza tho

As a frequent visitor here i'd say i'm slightly biased, But food is always a solid 9/10. The service is great. Theres simply no need to lift a finger. Highly recommend. Extremely well priced and a GEM in Wolverhampton town.

Went there last week with my partner and the food and service was excellent. I had the Tagliatelle Roso as a starter and must say the portion was big-ish and for my main i've ordered the Medaglioni alla Diana. Both absolutely delicious. Before leaving we've been offered a complimentary shot of limoncello. Definitely going there again :) The price was fair for a 3 course meal. Their tiramisu is the best one i've had. Impressed overall

Had a good catch-up with friends, and my young daughter in a high chair. Nice meal, service and value for money. Could do with stocking alcohol free beers - this is 2023 - not 2003 - times have changed.

I've eaten here several times over the years...the food is beautiful, the atmosphere is nice, the prices are good for such high quality food. Would recommend to anyone, great choice of food and several vegetarian choices.

A great little place in it's day. We came before as we recalled it being a great experience. You can tell that this side of Wolverhampton has seen better days. I suppose we are all in it together. Lasagna wasn't fresh. Came out the oven from frozen. Bland. Mains were superb and fresh. Sparked off memories of what it was. Mains consisted of a top notch carbonara and a pollo chicken. Mind the spelling. Service was quiet. Must be feeling the strain as when asked he said quiet which reflected in the restaurant. Lots of potential and hopefully back to normal next time we come round.

An amazing dining experience! All of the food we ordered was just perfect! Extremely flavourful and top quality, you definitely get what you pay for. Will absolutely be going again.

First time we have tried this restaurant having been recommended it by a few people we know. We were really impressed by the quality of the food which was first class, it was really tasty and fresh with that lovely Italian home cooked taste, the service and atmosphere were both excellent, cannot recommend highly enough. Try it out you won’t be disappointed!

Great food! My partner had chicken something or other whilst I had the sea bass. Both very tasty!

Lovely atmosphere as every table full but didn't feel overcrowded. Service was great. Lasagna was delicious and found room for fudge cake which had lots of melted fudge.. will definitely return to try other dishes

Here for a group dinner, the food was pre-ordered. Had to wait a while for service to start, after that, service was fairly prompt. More importantly, it tasted good.

Not the best quality for the price. Food was full of salt. Wouldn't recommend.

Great Italian food. This was the first time I visited, my husband had been before when it was known by a different name. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and portion size. We got 2 bottles of rosè and starters with a side filled us jorj so much we had to get our mains in a doggy bag. Through the night it became quite busy and service was great too, definitely going back.

The Rosso e Nero house pizza is the best in the whole area of West Midlands by far and the red wine is top quality real sweet wine as well made from actual grapes. I have tried pizzas in hundreds of places before and this easily comes in my top 3 of all time all over Europe. Above expectations, highly recommended. The taste is surreal, the dough and ingredients are very good. The service is also good.

We went to this restaurant a few weeks ago. On arriving, I asked the waiter if we can try the wine before we buy but he advised that he couldn't as he would have to open the bottle. I found this odd and this was a first time experience for me as I've never been told that in any restaurant ever, first time for everything. I wasn't keen on the starter which was the bruschetta and my main Panzerotti Fiorentina did not meet my expectations at all however the rest of my party of 3 thought their food was nice. I loved the dessert though, think it was the amretti cake

I went out with my friends and we enjoyed a really nice evening with good food and wine. The service was upright, the staff was friendly and I really loved my food, first time trying the Panzerotti Fiorentina and have no regrets.

Went for the first time for Valentine’s Day. We had to have a set menu we enjoyed the food but was not amazing. Staff were very friendly and attentive we are going to go again so we can pick directly off the main menu. Set meal we thought was initially over priced . However, on reflection the food was of good quality and with the cost of food/living on the rise it was probably realistically priced in the current climate.

Excellent Italian food - from the starters to the mains to the desserts, everything is delicious. Would recommend everyone to try it!

By far the best Italian restaurant in Wolverhampton. Ignore the outer appearance of this gold mine place. The food was presented well, tasted delicious and most of all hot. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

A great meal experience. Arrived at 5.30 for an early meal before going to the theatre. Not crowded and not rushed to finish or pay the bill. Good value and good range of dishes.

What a great meal we enjoyed. I don't understand why this place isn't fully booked with a waiting list. I enjoyed my salmon tagliatelle (Tagliatelle al Salmone) and my wife enjoyed her Chicken Risotto (Risotto della Casa). Both of the dishes were very delicious and we would come again

Fantastic place for a family meal. The waiter was friendly and was happy to treat my girls as adults, which made them happy, and the food was awesome.

Visited here Saturday 25th September before attending the theatre with husband and two sons aged 11 and 14. Great food, quick service, super clean and fab prices. We all really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely recommend it. Only about 7mins walk from theatre so super handy. When next in Wolverhampton we will be back.
