The best restaurants in Wyre Forest West Midlands

While staying in Bewdley overnight, we turned to google reviews to find somewhere to have dinner. We chose The Little Pack Horse after reading the previous reviews and were not disappointed. It is a homely, welcoming pub with delicious homemade meals, large portions, and lovely attentive staff. I highly recommend the lasagne and spaghetti bolognese (which was on the kids menu but we were kindly given an adult portion).

Poor Preparation lead to a Piss Poor Performance! Meals at The Granary used to be fantastic, the venue used to be immaculate and you would always receive excellent customer service. My visit today with my family was totally the opposite, in fact it was disgraceful. My parents booked as it was my grandfather’s 85th birthday and we as a family were expecting the same standards that we had experienced here previously. Our booking had been made a few weeks prior yet the organisation and preparation was disgraceful. Upon arrival we were shown to our tables in the restaurant, nobody else was in the restaurant except our party and a table of three (this should’ve rang alarm bells as it was 1pm on a Sunday). Once we were seated it was obvious that no attention to detail had been taken in presenting the table, basic items such as napkins were missing. We were expecting someone to take our drinks order and were then told, “there’s the table water, if you want any other drinks you can go to the bar” The starters were served, soup was luke warm. Main course arrived with vegetables placed upon the table and again, luke warm. One of our guests was 4 years old and was left without a meal, not one single member of staff used their initiative to investigate why he hadn’t got a meal. It was only when a member of staff was informed that the meal was missing they sorted it. (This is basic stuff!) A portion of peas had been requested via email and telephone with one of the meals, this was missing! Even after informing staff at the start of the main course the peas never materialised (peas take 2-4 minutes in a microwave from frozen) Towards the end of the main meal one of the guests noticed that the stuffing was missing from the roast chicken dinners, the member of staffs response was “oh yeah the chef left it on the side and forgot about it” Deserts were served and the apple crumble and custards were cold! The party leader was assured at the end of the meal that the manager would be informed and they will be in touch, lets hope this happens. Overall our experience was awful and to say we were extremely disappointed is an understatement.

Good service food very good enjoyable experience again. Been here many times always good . Will be back. Good value for money .0

Made an order for £100 for a birthday gathering so had lots of different dishes and every one of them were lovely!!! First time ordering from here and will 100% be back

Special curry fried rice is banging! Bargain too

We went here today I must say 1 star is too high. The food was awful and I never complain, but the steak and ale pie was dreadful I think it was going off, chips were way too greasy in what tasted old oil or fat. My husband had fish and chips the fish was so small it was hard to find on the plate. The staff were not very enthusiastic shame because the pub itself is a lovely place. I would not recommend to eat here, Sorry.

This Chinese was spot on. We were staying at an Airbnb nearby. Ordering over the phone was super easy, so polite and helpful on the phone. Delivery was estimated 45mins, was about an hour - which I think is good. Delivery guy was nice and food was honestly top notch. We had duck, chow mein, spring rolls. All lovely and not greasy at all. Best Chinese I’ve had in ages. We’re a fussy bunch as well.

this hotel doesn’t even deserve a star where do we start off loads of spider webs in our hotel room with a massive spider the floor was dirty it smelled horrible we went to the changing rooms to go swimming it smelled like horrible drainage the swimming pool was freezing the jacuzzi ws lukewarm as guests I don’t think we should be paying to use facilities since sleeping in the bed in the hotel Iv had to bites if i was to recommend a hotel it would be holiday inn bromsgrove i wanted this to be a nice weekend away with my family and family friends but no it was a disaster i don’t recommend

I will not be using this Pizza Hut again we arrived at 2 went to ask for a table and got greeted by the most miserable girl with an attitude problem we were told we would have to wait to get to our table that we had booked as they hadn’t cleared it yet and looking through the door there was more then 10 tables that hadn’t been cleared stacked with plates and dirty cups and bowls we then had to wait half hour while they pissed about doing nothing to get to our table we then tried to order our food on the app which just kept buffering and wouldn’t let us order to then get the same grumpy girl to come over to us and take it for us in a huff then took her 20 minute to get glasses and at this point it’s 2:45 and the buffet ends at 3 not complaining about the food that was ok but the ice cream station was disgusting there were no bowls as they were all dirty on tables we had to eat our ice cream with forks because all the spoons where dirty on tables from the time we sat down at 2:30 to when we left at 3:30 not a single table was cleared or wiped very disappointing the salad bar didn’t look fresh or like it had been topped up or refreshed for hours we will not be returning

Came here on the evening 8th April recommendation of some family. Walked in and it was clean and tidy and was some lovely music playing. Waited a short while and was greeted by one of the chefs who quickly seated me and explained the menu and the deals as we hadn't been before. We had our drinks order taken by the waitress who was very abrupt and short with us. But we got our drinks quickly. The food came out and it was fantastic, the pork belly bites were lovely and the carvery was probably the best carvery I have ever had, piping hot food on piping hot plates. The meat was to die for and the veg was fresh and well cooked. The roasties we sublime. It took a while for our plates to be cleared. The waitress didn't ask how our food was just sharply said "you done?" before taking them away. I don't know if she was stressed or was having a bad day. But she came across as very blunt, verging on rude. She took our dessert order and again it didn't take long for the desserts to arrive. We both had the waffle and it was lovely. All in all the food is fantastic and the atmosphere in there is great. Just really felt a bit let down by the service. The waitress came across very blunt and felt like we were an inconvenience to her. We would probably come back as the food was lovely but would be hesitant based on the service. Hopefully it was a one off.

Good service, good food Battered chips you don't have to wait for friendly considerate staff value for money

Food is great, I never have an issue with my food order. The only reoccurring problem is they can never find my house, my adress is always given correct i even add driver instructions for added peace of mind however they never find me. When speaking to the store they said their driver uses google maps but subsequently the delivery driver told me otherwise wise and said they use a map via the dominos app. Its not fair to keep receiving cold food because the delivery driver cant locate new post codes on their app. Please look into using google maps as this isnt the first comment ive saw with a similar issue.
