I’ve enjoyed going to the Robin Hood for years, it is is always a pleasure. An old pub in the village of Drayton with a good selection of beers and good food. In winter, log fire, in summer a large garden with outside bar and play area. Fri fly staff, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with nice touches. Worth a visit, closed Monday evenings.

FIRST VISIT, BEAUTIFUL PUB, VERY CLEAN AND FABULOUS GARDEN AREA. MYSELF AND THE WIFE VISITED TODAY 26TH JULY FOR LUNCH. LOVELY WELCOME FROM THE OWNER. SAT OUTSIDE IN THE SUN, THE OWNER PUT UP THE UMBRELLA FOR SHADE AND CHATTED AWAY AS IF WE HAD KNOWN HER FOR YEARS. ORDERED LUNCH AND DRINKS....ARRIVE, AND WAS NOT DISAPOINTED AT ALL. I AM A CHEF OF 52 YEARS EXPERIENCE AND TODAY WAS THE BEST ONION RINGS I HAVE EVER TASTED. OVERALL THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND IT. 2 DRINKS AND A BOTTLE OF WINE AND FULL STOMACHS, WE EVENTUALLY DEPARTED AFTER TWO AND A HALF HOURS. CANNOT WAIT TO REVISIT. 10 OUT OF TEN FOR FOOD AND SERVICE.

We went for the Balearic Beat event it was brilliant had a great time, loved the vibe great music from the djs Han hind 🔥 🔥🔥

Haven’t been to this pub before. Honestly a hidden treasure of a place, lovely countryside drive and amazing food. The lovely Megan served us our drinks and food with a smile! The ciabatta’s I would highly recommend and well worth the price. Would definitely be visiting again and recommending to others :)

Staff were ok, they are not very accommodating when it comes to their menu. Very expensive. My friend wanted a side order of scampi but they refused even though they have it on the menu. Was only around 6.30pm & they had already run out of some starters. Certainly not worth the prices they charge

Very poor quality of Sunday lunch . Bland veg and gravy . Overall not at all good Waitresses helpful and attentive but let down by standard of food. Will not be ever going again as much nicer places to dine. A shame a previously has been ok whether they now have new ‘chef’ but dreadful food.

Went today for Sunday lunch, 4 adults and 3 children , decent portions and very tasty. The pint of Enville I had was very good also. Staff were very friendly and polite, an easy 5 stars, many thanks

Didn't eat as couldn't wait another 40 minutes to order. Great pub on a great spot but the service, although not unfriendly, is awful. If you like going somewhere to wait in a queue then this is your spot. This wasn't a one off, I swore I wouldn't go back after waiting for the same time last time. I want to have some drinks with friends when I come out, not sit for 30 minutes in a queue. As said this has been frequent. Won't be going back.

Had a wonderful Sunday roast with the grandchildren, the portions were plentiful for both adults and children. We enjoyed the garden after our meal and the children could have spent hours on the park and playing field’s. Some DJ”s arrived shortly before we left and the atmosphere was building towards what looked like would be great night..it was a shame that we had to leave but our grandchildren we’re due their afternoon nap. Will definitely return!

First and last time.e there Waited 20 minutes s for drinks..over an hour for one course...when it came..was it worth the wait??..er..no!! 3 lasagne with 2 tiny pieces of flatbread..about 10 chips and a bit of wilted salad..a small chiaba on a side plate..again 12 is chips...4 soft drinks and 1/2 shandy..93.00..YES YOU DID READ THAT CORRECT!!!! We had to order extra chips( 2 small portions of extra frozen..dry..chips 9.00!!! Manager couldn't have cared less..never offered any incentive to return( not that I would anyway)..very defensive.to sum up WAYYYYY OVER PRICED AVERAGE FOOD LACKS ATMOSPHERE SLOWWWW SERVICE LACK OF DRINKS/ FOOD KNOWLEDGE THIS IS A "PUB" WITH RESTAURANT PRICES BASICLY" FUR COAT AND NO KNICKERS!

Rarely do I leave a review when I dine out but have on this occasion as I feel it needs to be at least reviewed by someone going for the first time and what to expect. We have no issues with paying for good service, good food with a lovely atmosphere. Sadly this day lacked all of the above. Over priced, small portions nothing special food wise. uninterested staff lacking any enthusiasm including the Management who sat on her phone most of the time but when we questioned why service took so long we were told they were busy? 6 cars in the car park and 1 hour 20 minutes for 4 meals to arrive. I'd hate to be there when there's a rush on then. Don't tell us you're not a restaurant but a pub ...but charge restaurant prices for basic food fozen chips and a can't be bothered approach. Plenty of places closer with a far superior all round dining experience for the same price.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of traditional pub food. I can't wait to return to this hidden gem in the countryside.

Found this great little spot on Facebook, as a solo female, I was made to feel so welcome family run pub with great food, they allowed me to stay in the carpark in my camper for the price of a meal, food was incredible and the atmosphere was wonderful! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back again!

Fantastic place, lovely atmosphere and the food was absolutely amazing!!! The staff were wonderful, waiting times were perfect. Also has a lovely and huge outdoor area for the summer too so we will definitely be back again and again!! Highly recommended!

This pub is excellent for a casual night out or lunch time food and drinks, food is really good either lunch or evening with a warm and comfortable welcome, either in the bar or the restaurant, I visit regularly for food and drinks, the staff are very attentive it's immaculately run with a range of good beers. Good parking facilities and a huge play area for children, plenty of outside seating and bar area for summer time relaxation. Tick's all the boxes for me and my family, 10/10 in my book.

First time to visit today and will defo return.. food was amazing, staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for us.. lovely location and garden is huge..plenty of space for little and big kids.. 😀

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting a few times and Debbie, Shirley and the team always make you feel like a regular. The drinks are always perfect, the atmosphere lovely and then finally, the food, the food is divine. I wish I lived locally so I could be a regular, but instead I’ll take my warm welcome when I’m in the area and pretend I could be so lucky! 11/10

Visited with family New Year’s Eve, amazing home cooked roasts Yorkshire puddings, potatoes and large selection of vegetables ( generous portions) . coal fires and a great friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming owners and staff. Love this place.

We visited here for drinks on Christmas Eve , and was pleasantly surprised ! It’s a family run pub which the owners were very welcoming and very helpful. I would recommend this pub for drinks + although I never tried the food it looked very nice and I would try on my next visit also the Guinness was great too !!

What a little gem! A lovely traditional pub in a beautiful setting. Fantastic outside space, although at this time of year it was the cosy interior with open fires that won us over. We went for Sunday lunch and it certainly did not disappoint. We all chose the roast beef and it was delicious! An extremely generous serving of meat accompanied by a great selection of vegetables, we couldn’t fault it. I’m not sure how, but we managed to make room for dessert as well and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade cheesecake and apple crumble options. The bar had a great selection of ales and ciders and my mom enjoyed a lovely glass of Merlot with her lunch. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with plenty of families dining in the restaurant and a traditional bar for the drinkers. The landlady Debbie was extremely welcoming and attentive, circulating amongst the guests, checking on their comfort and needs … in fact all the staff delivered a high level of customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Robin Hood … so much so that we have already booked to go back!

First time I have been to this pub and we when for a Sunday dinner! It was amazing 🤩 the beef was tender and it was the best Sunday roast we have ever had at a pub! I would definitely recommend this place and we definitely plan on going back again. Staff are very friendly and can not do enough to make you feel welcome 🤗 well done all

This is a little hidden gem. Great staff that make u feel so welcome and wow the food is all freshly prepared and so well delivered. Cosy decor and just keep going back for more. Love it

A fantastic place, even though we didn't book a table they managed to squeeze us in and the food was glorious.. I had lamb shank and my wife had the salmon. Best meal we've had in a long time and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back on a regular basis. Thank You RH. 🙏

First visit to this establishment in a while and have to say what a superb experience it was from the moment we arrived to the moment we paid the bill. Met with a lovely smile and friendly staff and provided with the menu options and specials. As we were out in the evening meal, we had a light lunch with a lovely chiabatta and fantastic fat chios. Our friends had starters and dessert as well as a scrumptious Christmas dinner. Staff were very attentive and the overall experience was 5 star 🌟

Absolutely awesome! Group of us went for a late Sunday lunch. Beautifully cooked food and generous portions. Wanted for nothing! Had three courses and nobody could fault a single thing! The service was second to none! 11 out of 10 all round! Thank you! Highly recommended!

Disappointed, I went for a beer and a snack lunch, disappointed as made to have a full lunch menu which was average and expensive. Even got charged an extra £3 for the sauce for steak!!

First visit to this pub today for a Sunday lunch with my wife. It’s been on my radar for a little while as the reviews seemed good. Our lunch was excellent, one of the best we’ve had in a long time. I had the turkey and my wife the beef. The proportion you get is very generous. The lady who was managing was very warm & friendly as was the young lady serving. The food came out in good time & came with a hearty proportion of vegetables too. The service was so attentive. We sat in the dining area although we later saw that the bar area was also a decent size to eat as well (dogs are allowed in the bar area) There’s a good sized car park and also what looked like a beer tent in the garden. The place has such a friendly and down to earth vibe and we shall definitely be back. It was so nice to have the owner / staff happy to chat which can be lost on some bigger chains. Well done Robin Hood Inn for welcoming us so nicely today, we will be passing the good word around the family & hope to you again soon.

Honestly this year 2023 we have visited countless pubs in our vanlife sprinter using the pubs as stopovers on there carparks/fields many of them good to let's say not so good. However when we come across somewhere amazing we think they deserve reward our latest BEST find is The Robin Hood at Drayton big flat car park the pub itself is beautifully kept and immaculate as are the grounds Debbie (landlady) is a wonderfully happy lady which shines through to all the staff giving the place a naturally good feel. The chef and the dishes served are amazing great atmosphere a definite must visit we will definitely use again A++++++++++

We rang ahead after finding the pub on "Pubstops Map", and although I can't comment on the food as they don't cater on a Monday /Tuesday but the welcome and the location more than made up for it. Debbie (landlady) was friendly, warm and inviting. The locals were equally friendly and made great hosts. We actually moved from our spot to join them in the seated area and there was lots of friendly banter and we learned of some of the history of the pub and it's definitely a place for a Halloween Party as you may end up with real ghosts in attendance lol!! We would definitely stay here again if in the area, it's spacious parking, gate locked at night for security, it's quiet and there are plenty of places to sit inside or out.

Had Sunday lunch on the 1st of October and I can honestly say it was amazing, the beef melted in my mouth,proper homemade roasters and I have to say the best cauliflower cheese I have ever had, my partner is a vegetarian and it’s wonderful...

A spur of the moment visit to the Robin Hood for a drink and chance for our 7yo to run about etc, turned into a lovely afternoon enjoying their reggae event and a last minute Sunday lunch. We weren’t planning to eat but after seeing the food come out and smelling the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen we just couldn’t resist! It was very late when we ordered and they were just about to stop serving Sunday lunch but we’re glad that we did. My Husband & I both had the beef and it was beautiful. Tender, cooked perfectly and tasted lovely. Our Son couldn’t tear himself away from exploring outside with the friends he made so chose to eat from the outdoor bar instead which really serves it’s purpose. We’ll definitely be back and look forward to the upcoming events they have planned.

Absolutely brilliant pub , I didn't even know about it and because the fox had messed up our booking we found this place and they fit us in straight away here, we had Sunday lunch and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. A firm new favourite pub! Won't be visiting any others in the area from now on! Also the staff are lovely, there is plenty of parking and a great garden with tables and a kids play area.

Not as good as it used to be, Food and drinks really overpriced. Wouldn’t mind if the food was amazing but it’s average at best. Sunday roasts are small and served with basic plain veg. Shame as it used to be a great place to eat

Nice seated area in the right weather outside the rear. Inside is very much old country pub but pleasant.

Lots going for this place, great play area and garden and great selection of beer. However the food was extremely overpriced and both our meals were below average. Atmosphere was ruined by house music pumping through speakers in the garden. We weren't expecting this on an early Saturday lunch time with only a few other tables occupied. Sorry, not my cup of tea.

Food quality and portions aren't good especially for the astronomical prices. Beer is well kept, but again expensive. Atmosphere in the garden very good along with the service. Excellent grounds and equipment to keep the kids occupied.

Evening meal with friends, The food was excellent,well presented and totally delicious. Service was first class.

Positives. Good service, large portions. Negative. Much too expensive considering similar meals in other pubs. Fish and Chips £19. Sirloin £27. Did not have dessert or coffee for this reason.Just over the top and we will not be visiting again. Sorry.

Lovely outdoor afternoon with good service and meal

Lovely pub, sat in the garden in the sunshine. Plenty of outside seating. They have their own outside bar as well as an in side bar so not much waiting around to get served. If you do take a visit here though please try their cobs, as you will not believe the size of them! Best cob you will have.

What a lovely friendly, welcoming pub this is. The manageress always goes out of her way to make you feel like a valued customer. The waitress and the chef both lovely too. Good old fashioned hospitality is paramount here, it's wonderful to see. The food was well cooked, hot and fresh. Could not fault it at all, and I'm fussy!! 😊 No nasty, cheap ketchup sachets here, proper branded vinegar and ketchup. They're only small details but they speak volumes!! We'll definitely be back soon and if you haven't eaten here before what are you waiting for!!?? 😁

Terrible service. Booked well in advance no one hardly in the restaurant but after waiting 30 minutes they hadn't even seated us at a table because they said they hadn't got time to lay the table.

Only had a mixture of cobs and chips between us - the beef was totally inedible - full of fat and gristle. Even the dogs struggled to chew it!
