The best restaurants in Aldridge Central and South Walsall West Midlands

To be honest, although I liked their southern fried chicken found it to be a bit salty. I really really liked the kebab meat, you could taste the lamb in it.

The pub needs love and attention but has been given a chance to thrive now as the landlord is a special bloke with a kind heart who will make it work, we are all behind you Ben take care.

The name has now change to aura under new management The food is still very good there is some changes on the menu.They have cobra on draught but you can still take your own and there is a lot of staff so the service is very good nothing is a problem Booking is recommended

Been going here for a few years now and has been ok but the last visit was different the poppadoms and starters was ok but all the curry's came out with a thick layer of oil floating on top witch was about 50% of the meal and even the rice tasted greasy! Not sure if it's a knew chef so may try again in the future and hope they can resolve this!

Wasn't busy when we turned up (5:30pm) but even so there was a certain vibe about the place probably because of the excellence of the boss and his assistant. My starter was the usual fare of two popadoms with three dipping sauces - spicy mango, chopped onion and mint yoghurt. I then sampled the best Indian dish I've had in ages which was chicken with mange tout and potatoes in a rich tomato sauce - unfortunately I can't remember the name of it and it isn't on the online takeaway menu. To this I added a chapati and garlic & onion fried rice. All washed down with a large bottle of Cobra - simply superb. Definitely going back if I'm in the area again.

We came in for the mid week special. It’s amazing value and the curry was absolutely stunning. Everyone is so nice and always looks after us so well. You can take your own drinks. Appreciate the complimentary baileys and chocolate too. Absolutely lush. Pop here for a curry and then there is the gem that is hop station next door. Perfect mid week date night ❤️

My daughter and I popped in for a coffee and were greeted by a lovely girl, so welcoming and helpful. I don’t normally write a review, but felt like it’s easy to put in a complaint, but we should also praise when receiving good service….thank you Holly, we will definitely be coming back.

Best chippy for miles around go and try them you will love the food and the staff

Didn't have food as we walked out due to the member of staff not even offering to get us any assistance in what we was gonna order , all we wanted is to upgrade an order for our disabled daughter , yet not even going to get a higher member of staff or even the chef made us decide to go elsewhere , in these days I'm happy they're doing so well as to lose a £55 meal and drinks order , not impressed as a pub in same chain has gladly accommodated our requirements and we will be using there instead .

Disappointed to go in-store and see that you now have to order via a very slow machine. There is now a wall hiding the foods so you can no longer see the salads, meats and cheese before choosing what you would like on your subway. The service has totally gone out the window and personalisation is no longer at the customers priority. Once you have wasted five minutes faffing with a machine you now have to wait for the food to be made. Now taking twice as long as before. I won't be visiting this branch again.

First time visiting and we was not disappointed at all beautiful restaurant friendly pleasant staff we had the three course deal and food was beautiful I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return again soon
