Tasty food and generous portions. Attentive staff. Good atmosphere. Would highly recommend. There is a stair lift available for those less able to take the stairs without assistance.

Had a really lovely evening with friends until about 10.10 when the member of staff asked for our glasses (which had drinks in) as they were closing and the other staff were vacuuming two tables away!!! My husband also went to the toilets which are downstairs and had to wait to come back up due to them being vacuumed. Absolutely shocking

Absolutely horrendous. Poor service from start to finish. It was clear the restaurant was over booked and understaffed. 1 hour 35 mins for mains to arrive?! And then 2 calzones and a pizza were sent back as the dough wasn't cooked! In an Italian! Even them when they came back the food was awful. Add that to a toilet with no hot water and no working dryer, which I'm fairly certain is illegal. Won't go back, ever.

The place is a little gem, tasty and extremely great value for money. 6 of of went tonight and all throughly enjoyed our food. Would recommend the spicy calzone pizza!!! Deffo be back again very soon.

Very unfortunate incident at our lunch. 2 young members of staff acted very immaturely throughout our time there. At one point one actually shouted across the restaurant 'you are really p***ing me off. Then, on ordering a drink. My husbands pint was a little full at the bar so the waiter took it upon himself to drink out of the glass before bringing it to our table. Shocked is an understatement. On reporting this to the manager he said he would 'have a word' and got a fresh pint. Looking back we should have walked out. No offer of reducing the bill or not charging for drinks!! Will never return to this restaurant, nor will my friends who were equally disgusted by this service.

Really disappointing. It was our first experience of Da Vinci’s after hearing great reviews. Firstly it’s NOT an Italian restaurant. I’ve never seen duck spring rolls on a genuine Italian restaurant menu before. Alongside other non Italian dishes. We asked for bread and olives, the bread was French and the most measly of slices. The balsamic and oil didn’t come as a dip and there were no means of picking up the olives. The starters were mediocre at best. My salad wasn’t dressed and I asked the waitress for some dressing or just balsamic and she said which is that, the black vinegar?! We were asked if we wanted chips with our meal?!! The mains thank god the pasta was al dente! They were tasty dishes with a good portion size. They did arrive scolding hot. However we felt rushed from the moment we arrived. We arrived at 7pm and had eaten our main by 7.30!! I was looking forward to a lovely simple Italian dessert. However the scruffy desert menu resembled an Indian restaurant of pre bought frozen deserts. Disgusting. It’s not difficult to get the small details right. So we asked for the bill and left within 50 mins of our start time. Very disappointing.

Looking for a meal out with a very picky eater who loves pizza we opted for this restaurant based on its reviews. When entering the restaurant I was a little apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised, staff were friendly and inviting. They quickly took our drinks orders. giving us extra time to select our dishes. The food was served quickly, delicious and hot. The pizza lover’s margarita pizza was cooked perfectly and the duck dish was tasty. Staff regularly checked if we were happy and required any more drinks. What we really appreciated was we were dining with another couple we had not seen for a while so we’re having a chat, no-one rushed us and none of this two hour eating slots you find at most restaurants - a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return.

Myself and my husband have been going to this restaurant for years. I phoned quite late for a table for two Saturday 8th July, but they fitted us in. When we arrived it seemed really busy, and thought we would be in for a long wait for our food. But they did not dissapoint. Food was beautiful as always from starter to main, and the service was excellent. Its nice after all this time knowing the service is as good as it was all those years ago 🙂

Visited last night with my husband 3.6.2023. A birthday treat for me. I had fillet steak and my husband had rack of lamb. Both meals absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly, attentive but not intrusive. A wonderful experience. Thank you to all staff.

Wouldn’t recommend. Had the calzone and it was doughy and tasted undercooked. Desserts appeared okay but the pana cotta tasted burned and awful. Do not come here!

The staff were welcoming and the table was well presented for a large group. The set menu could be adapted however, there was limited choice for vegetarians and the vegan menu was non existent. No choice for dessert for vegans which made it difficult to enjoy a three course set menu.

Regulars here, the service is excellent, they remember your orders even if you haven't visited for a while. Brilliant italian food at great prices.

we visited da vincis last night myself and a few friends for our christmas get together and the whole evening was lovely. even though the restauraunt was busy with big parties the staff didnt fail to see to us. we were offered several menus but decided to go with the set menu that includes the bottle of wine. Been here several times and it everytime gets better. food was amazing and service was brilliant too. MERRY CHRISTMAS & we will be in again soon.

Normally I am over the moon with my visits here, but I went for lunch today with my friend who had travelled from Worcester. We were greeted warmly by the usual waiter, but from then on, things went downhill and our visit was spoilt.

We visit this restaurant frequently and it never fails to be great food, good price and friendly service. Wide choice on the menu always good quality and quantity. Looking forward to our Christmas Day meal.

We haven't been for a while but again we were greeted like old friends and seated quickly. We went as a family group of 6. The service and the meals were excellent. My mom only wanted a meatball starter as a main meal but it was no problem and she was offered if she wanted them to add some spaghetti to it also. The meals were served in the right sort of time and were all piping hot. The vegetables came as a side portion to help yourselves and we were offered if we needed any more vegetables just to let the staff know. During the week there is an offer of for 2 people to dine from a 3 course choice menu for £15.95 each which includes a bottle of house wine. In our party 2 chose to dine from that menu and the rest of us from the full menu and again this was not a problem. All in all another excellent evening with excellent food and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were made very welcome as always; the service was excellent and the waiter was very friendly. It had been a while since we last went, but it was well worth going again. I had my favourite camembert and cranberry starter, and then tried the vegetable lasagne for the first time and I have to say that it was extremely tasty and filling. To round it all off, I had my favourite ice cream filled crepe for desert. I love the chocolate or caramel sauce topping. All this for less than £10 per head, and I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Nothing hidden about this fantastic Italian spot, doenst look like much from the outside, but its defo a five star restaurant when you get past looks. From start to finish, our meal was nice, all the dishes, especially the crepe with ice cream and the ravioli.

My biggest gripe when going out for a meal is coming away hungry. No chance of that here, the portions are decent sized! We were also impressed by the friendliness and the efficient staff considering how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday night.

Visited for first time on Saturday night, billed approx £25 a head for 2 courses, side dish and a couple of drinks but food was bland at best considering the price charged. Wont be revisiting.

We have been visiting this restaurant for the last 7 or 8 years maybe at least 8 times a year as a minimum and have yet to have a bad meal or bad experience, all in all it’s very positive.

Visited for a birthday celebration and we were made to feel welcome immediately by the staff. Although quiet for a Tuesday evening the food was good and served promptly. We had their fixed menu with complimentary wine. If you didn’t want to travel far this is a good choice for a local restaurant

Visited as part of a work group. This was a very mixed experience. On our table of ten some were delighted others very disappointed.

Never had a bad meal at da vincis. The calzone was really nice and large! Camembert starter is like cheese heaven!

We went for my sons birthday meal having been recommended by others and were impressed. It was like taking a step back in time for me having spent my youth in the Hop N Grape which was in this building.

Have been to Da Vinci's several times in the past and have always had good food. This time was disappointing. Most of the others in my party seemed satisfied with their meals. We all, except my son, ate from the set Sunday menu. I really wish I had not. I had duck rolls to start. I've had them before and enjoyed them but this time they were not served with a side salad but raw chopped onion! My main was chicken parmesan which I found to be dry and tasteless. I decided to give dessert a miss and had a liqueur coffee instead (that was very nice).

Visited for dinner the other night. The food was probably slightly less than average compared to other Italian restaurants I have visited in nearby towns. I have given 3 stars instead of 2 as the wine was cheap, the service was good and friendly and the bill wasn’t too harsh on my bank account. I still wouldn’t visit again.

I went there for lunch with my friend today. We had a three course lunch for under £10 each, which is incredible value for money, as the quality of the food is top class. Service was perfect as always. We were very comfortable and made to feel welcome - as always.

Visited Da Vinci's on fathers day. Didn't have a table booked but they managed to fit us in, even though they were really busy. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Excellent quality food for really good prices. Family favourite restaurant!

We booked a birthday meal and as we’d never been there before we didn’t know what to expect. We were seated promptly, we were spoilt for choice, the menu is very varied. The food was delicious and good quality. There was just enough time was left between each course. The staff were very attentive. Superb value for money, we had a lovely evening. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone who would like a great Italian meal at very reasonable prices.

We will visit again as perhaps they were having a bad night but the wait for food was crazy. And it wasn’t even hot when it came. It did taste microwaved and then like it had been left for a while. Shame as I have been before and had excellent service.

Excellent service as always; lovely high quality fresh food too. I stayed with my old favourites, a main course of beef lasagne and profiteroles for desert, but next time I`m definitely going to be trying the camembert with cranberries for a starter instead. It all looks so tempting that it is hard to choose.

Long flight stairs up to restaurant, with toilets downstairs. Service attentive with welcoming staff. We had to wait awhile for main courses, though they were busy with other large booking. Food good & average. I had the pollo cacciatore, the sauce with the chicken had not much flavour. We could had done with more vegetables which we had to share. The derserts were had a good selection and tasted really good. The room was very cold, many of us in our party had to wear our coats.

Went Christmas day and it was great. I had lobster and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend to both couples...

Went for Christmas day meal and it was lovely. Booked for 4.00 but was extremely busy so had to wait till 4.50. It wasn't the staffs fault as they were working their socks off as they say. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Once we sat down service was excellent and meal wonderful and plentyful. The turkey was nice and juicy and cut nice and thick. Couldn't fault it. I made the booking back in September for a table of 12 and was a little taken back that they didn’t require a deposit and didn’t take a contact number (considering this was Christmas Day lunch)but popped in at the end of November to confirm the booking for my own peace of mind. We arrived on time yesterday to a very full restaurant. We were sat at our table after around 10 minutes (no crackers on the table and a total lack of any kind of festive decoration apart for a bit of tinsel and a silver star hanging from the ceiling) the floor around and under our table was covered in food from the previous dinners, we asked for it to be clean several times before a man came with a dust pan And brush a got a little bit of it up,so we had to sit the entire visit with our feet in this filthy mess, we ordered our food which considering they were busy didn’t take to long to be served, the food was Ok meat portions were fine , but we all got 1 or 2 roast potatoes each and. Very small portions of vegetables we did ask for more and was given one extra portion between 12 of us, all in all Christmas lunch was not a good experience and I ended up cooking when I got home because everyone was still hungry! Christmas 2017 at Da Vinci’s will not go down in family history as the best Christmas! It was like being in a dirty work canteen but without and Christmas decorations!!! We won’t be going back!

Went for a pre-Christmas family get together, have been here before and was good last time, but even better this time.

We had a company Christmas meal here, and I know catering for a large group is not easy, but... the starter Melon and ham had no finesse and the ham was like leather. The main should have been medium rare but was well done, the veg was minimal and under cooked. The tiramisu was good and the red wine was the worst I have had for many years. I will not be going back.

Visited for a birthday meal. It is a large flight of stairs so if a guest finds it difficult to use stairs be aware. Food was ok and cheap, didn’t feel like I was in Italy!

I went here today with my friend, for the first time in ages. The waiter was pleasant and welcoming as always and I was impressed that he went out of his way to provide a variation of a dish to accommodate my friend`s dietary requirements. The food was delicious, plentiful and excellent value. Their profiteroles are to die for even if they are bad for the waistline. I will definitely be visiting there again soon.

Not as good as expected! From star to finish we felt rushed by staff from not even sitting down and have asked what drinks we wanted without looking at drinks menu. My friends and I felt pressured to order. We were celebrating good news so we were chatting whilst looking at menu, we still were looking at menu and staff were there with pen and paper asking again what we wanted had to ask for extra time. Oh and the candle to be lit which other tables had there’s lit. We had bread and olives which we were still eating with bread in our mouth and plates were being taken whilst starters were being put in front of us. Shocking!Food was bland with not much taste our party had different types of dishes and this was the case for all.Staff were not friendly and expensive for what we had along with the services.

I booked a table for me and my girlfriend to eat here on a Sunday afternoon, presuming that it might be a little quieter than a Saturday.......WRONG! This isn't a bad thing though as it shows that the restaurant is a hit.I'd been once before, a number of years ago, and remembered that the food was decent, and again I wasn't left disappointed. Myself and my girlfriend both had starters and a main and the bill came in at a reasonable cost.Staff were fairly attentive, although left me without the required spoon for my starter (possibly their attention was on serving a party of what must have been 30 all together), but other than that it was a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back in the future.

Average food. Have been here twice for group events. The staff are attentive and friendly though. The venue is clean but gets warm.

It was surprisingly busy for a weekday with a large group of 20+. The service didn't seem to suffer for them having such a big group, although the noise does echo around a bit because it's such a large open space. Food was lovely and staff very pleasant.

I eat here everyday! I would say I like it very much! Good value for money and the Sunday lunch menu is fantastic! Good for family's, couples and solo eaters!

Me and my parents went on a sunday for a change and the food was absolutely outstanding. The staff were amazing, portion size was perfect. I had the spring rolls 2 start with, then the lamb and it was perfect. Cooked to perfection. Would highly recomend da vincis to everyone.

A great meal out and the staff are so friendly - we may eat there every 8mths or so and they still recognise us and welcome us.

I frequently visit Da Vinci's and have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately it wasn't up to its usual standard this week - bitter salad, fewer prawns swamped in sauce and a very mediocre lasagne.

I have visited this restaurant twice and both times the food was excellent. The 1st I visited I had calamari starter, Fillet Steak main and a side of bruschetta. Everything was cooked perfectly and best of all was the cost. Usually a fillet steak in a restaurant your looking at £25-£30. I think this one cost me around £15 and i could of sliced it with a butter knife, it was so tender. We also ordered a bottle of wine which was lovely and again reasonably priced. Will be visiting again soon. The restaurant also catered well for my girlfriend who is gluten free.

I've just realised that we were here for our birthday celebration last year as well. We have been here in the middle a few times as well. Lovely food and very friendly and efficient staff.

We luckily managed to book a table at the last minute as we had been out for the day and had planned to eat out on the way back. Our good fortune was that we could not find anywhere that was not fully booked. What a find. It is only a few miles from our home but we had never visited this restaurant before. We were greeted cordially and invited to our table in the window. All of the staff without exception were pleasant and welcoming. the food was excellent and good value for money. we will definitely return.

Can't fault this place.Service is fast, friendly and faultless. (See what I did there?) Extensive menu with an Italian influence. Just wish their steaks weren't so good - stops me from experimenting.Plenty of parking outside or at Morrisons across the road. Oh, steep flight of stairs and no lift. Worth the climb.

First went here for my Birthday a few months ago, and have returned on a regular basis since. It's now our go-to destination for a local meal out! We always receive a friendly welcome, and the food is, as you'd expect, typically Italian, with a wide choice of starters, mains and desserts. Everything we've eaten here has been very enjoyable, and very reasonably priced.

Catching up with an old friend I haven't seen for years. Turns out that she'd never been to an Italian restaurant before, but she's convinced that she'd like to go again. Quick and friendly service, a nice broad menu, and chefs who really care about the food. I had a rare piece of steak, and it actually was properly rare, perfectly cooked. She had risotto and happily cleared the plate.Would we go back again? Absolutely.

After celebrating my 70th birthday with the family, including a 4 month old baby, the meal was lovely. I have been many times and the meals are always great. On the rare occasion something is not quite right it is put right with a smile.The staff are all friendly. The food covers many tastes based on Italian, but reminds me of English 60s and much more. The choice is excellent and for families very good value with many special nights and wines 50% cheaper than most.The only minus is it on the first floor, so you have to be fit enough for a flight of stairs. Finally, the tables are well spaced, so more relaxing even with large families and dress is informal. There is plenty of parking and if necessary a Morrisons 50 metres away provides free parking.

Thursday nice 3 course midweek special including a complimentary bottle of wine £15.95 pp ... booked meal in between Xmas & New Year for myself & my wife ...a quiet Thursday night in lovely surrounding ... all 3 courses excellent, excellent value & excellent service

First visit we ordered 2 starters, 2 mains (pasta dishes), olives, breads and a bottle of house wine. Really enjoyed the entire meal. Was expenting the worst when the bill arrived but to our amazement it was only 35quid.Second visit, i went all out on the main and ordered the fillet steak (15quid). Not bad concidering ive seen the fillet on some menus for as high as 25quid !!! And no i have never ordered it at that price if your wondering. The steak was cooked to perfection when it arrived and there was not one bit of fat....just tender steaky goodness. Mmmm Again to our amazement, this time without starters but a couple of drinks, breads, olives, another pasta main, a cheesy garlic pizza bread and chips side, the bill came to 33 quid. Defoo worth leavin a tip at this price !We will be visiting again... or maybe just order and collect as we found out you can do this also if you fancy a lazy night in but still have the energy to drive and collect it.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now and have had something different off the menu each time. All the food is delicious and perfectly presented and the staff are pleasant and happy to help. The menu is quite diverse and I have enjoyed my meal every visit. As a fussy eater, I struggle to find food which I like off a menu but this restaurant has so much to offer! The staff have always been friendly and the general atmosphere is lovely. Well worth a visit!

The restaurant is upstairs at the end of the row on Anchor Rd.My friend & I enjoyed an excellent lunch here yesterday. Immediately upon entering we were warmly greeted The waiter offered us a window table. The establishment has 2 options for weekday lunch. A full a la carte & a reduced lunchtime menu. As we were having a lunch we opted for the lunchtime specials.The waiter was attentive without intruding. He busied himself around the restaurant but was present when we were ready to order. Drinks were served quickly as were the complimentary bread & oilOur food arrived promptly The meal was excellent. Lasagne, piping hot, accompanied by salad.The deserts were incredible I opted for a cheesecake It was a decent sized helping. Very tasty but not too heavy.Overall a really pleasant dining experience My friend & I will visit DaVinci's again very soon.

I visited there for lunch as it was my friend`s birthday. We both had lasagne which was excellent and freshly cooked using good quality minced beef. We were offered complimentary parmesan cheese, bread and oil appetiser, and a dish of salad. For dessert I had profiteroles and my friend had cheesecake. WOW - the chocolate sauce was almost like a mousse; the choux pastry was nice and thin , exactly the right texture, and the profiteroles were full of fresh cream. I would definitely try this dish again.The service was excellent; and again we were made very welcome. The ambience was lovely.Overall it was a very pleasant visit and lunch. We had a two course lunch (which is available 12 - 5pm) for only £6.95 per head.The only thing that spoiled my visit (which is no fault of the restaurant) was a woman who sat chatting with two friends for about 45 minutes while her toddler sat in the high chair crying and unhappy.

I can't remember having food this bad for a long time. I had the mussels to start which were so rubbery it was difficult to get them out of the shell - quite obviously frozen, particularly in view of the huge menu. My partner had the Camembert which looked like chicken nuggets, there was no garnish on the plate just 4/5 pieces of bread crumbed cheese that also looked like it was straight out of the freezer - reminded me of the mozarella bites you can get at McDonalds. For the main I had the lobster ravioli which I returned and refused to pay for - the pasta was extremely chewy and the lobster tasted nothing like lobster, more like sausage - also quite obviously out of the freezer. My partner had a steak in mushroom and dolcelatte sauce which he asked for medium but it was well done. The sauce was grey with weird strips of white which he assured me were mushroom! The veg which came with it was also crap and frozen - one piece of broccoli, one potato and a few carrots. Only half decent thing was the chips we ordered as an extra. We also had a bottle of prosecco which wasn't very nice. Really resented parting with our money for this terrible meal, even with the lobster ravioli taken off the bill. The food is massively over priced when you could go and get it from the freezer section of the supermarket yourself, I go out to eat to have fresh food cooked for me, not frozen food chucked in the microwave and onto a plate. Will not be returning.

I went there with my friend for a late lunch today for the first time. As the restaurant is upstairs, it gave the appearance from outside of being closed, but we ventured up the stairs to explore.....What a pleasant surprise awaited us. It is spotlessly clean, well decorated in a stylish way and very roomy. The waiter was very friendly and helpful but without being over-bearing. The service was spot on and we were made to feel very welcome.The food was ample, delicious and freshly cooked, too. The lunchtime special was two courses for £6.95 each.There wasn`t the biggest choice in the world from the lunch menu, but we could have chosen from the main menu if we wanted, and what was there was perfectly adequate.Would I visit there again? YES most definitely. On fact, I have plans to take other friends and business contacts there in the near future. Highly recommended and I wish I had gone there before.

Poor service,overpriced,menu too large for chefs,not italian,..went for a leaving party of 25..only reason paid was because of not spoiling the night out.dont know why this place is raved about its rubbish.second time been there.never again

We eat at Da Vinci's on a fairly regular basis. There is a large choice on the menu and the food is excellent. The Sunday set menu is extremely good value. We have taken friends along many times and have also celebrated special occasions there together with our business Christmas meal. The service is very good and the staff are very welcoming.
