quick service, one lovely staff member other staff member not so nice, gave us our desserts without cutlery then proceeded to bring our drinks over and had to wait a further couple of minutes for our cutlery. I had ordered the royale crepe which came cold lacking the wafer and no Ferrero rochers on. My friend orders the white chocolate cookie dough which came out well done, also lacking a wafer.

Ordered milk chocolate cookie dough. They ran out of vanilla ice cream and offered no alternative. If we wanted another flavour, we would have to pay for it even though the cookie dough comes with ice cream. Understand it is the standard but if out of it, you should offer something else in its place. Will not be returning.

Firstly, the cookie dough was made in a microwave. The manager was ABSOLUTLY horrific. Was nothing but abrupt and rude to her staff members. Not something the public should see, not professional at all. I came in on the Tuesday the 19th of March 2024. Left so shocked as if my manager ever spoke to me like that I would have quit on the spot. I came in this weekend and spoke to the team leader Leah and Sammy who was absolutly lovely, a delight to speak to and made me feel very welcome and I will definitely be coming back just for their service. However, better management need to be put in place!

Was craving a nice dessert, this place did not for fill my cravings. Ordered a Nutella cookie dough came out as solid as a brick and the sauce looked like Asda cheap chocolate melted down and shoved on. Completely missing the cookie dough. Sundae was two scoop of ice cream for £9! And a bit of sauce. Pancakes were like chewing on a rubber tire. Bananas taste horrid rather been sat on the toilet for 3 hours then eat that again. I didn’t know that the ice cream that comes with the pudding is invisible how amazing is that? By the way I ain’t fat this is a group order. Save your pennies rather than getting diarrhoea plus took over a hour to bring it. Delivery driver couldn’t find the massive building to deliver. Next time I shall just have a freezer choc ice.

Visited the restaurant with family, I was served by a polite young lady who later bought part of the order across to the table she was extremely pleasant and welcoming. One of the desserts we’d ordered cookie dough was partially uncooked, the server advised us sometimes they don’t cook evenly, she offered us a part refund which she suggested. The manager came over to the table with an absolutely stinking attitude and told me how the cookie dough was cooked and that it wasn’t undercooked, she was very matter of fact but failed to understand that the dessert was undercooked. I wasn’t going to argue with her as it seemed she was already stressed with the handful of customers in the shop. Very disappointing experience.

After years of deliberation I took my family to Walsall gelato and I wasn’t disappointed, I ordered a winter berry waffle, 10/10 Meghan made it to perfection, texture sweetness and presentation was excellent, thank you Meghan I was so happy and I’m glad I thanked you cos maximum respect to you! Will be going again! Would recommend to any one. 💯👊🏽🔥

Ordered a create your own waffle and a crepe and both came without the strawberry slices so they put strawberry sauce on instead (didn’t get notified about the lack of the strawberry slices) prior to the delivery Both came and were cold but I was told the waffle was ok taste wise but the crepe was awful it had no taste at all and went in the bun and the gelato that came with both orders was also not nice especially the pistachio one This was our 1st and last order from this dessert shop

Ordered a takeaway and it was missing the gelato. Rang the store and the young girl on the phone provided awful customer service. I will not be ordering from here again!

Ordered Online worst milkshake ever cant believe they sell this

I ordered from this company they took my payment and never delivered my item and then turn around said I would receive a refund but as of yet I've not received a refund so I reckon this company are scamming me I want to order from them again

Cookie dough is really good, but the " luxurious hot chocolate" was made with water and cocoa powder no whip cream could have just called it hot chocolate 🤷

Rude staff. Waited on the door step for 5 minutes she looked at us looked really annoyed by new guests! Seating area was soiled and sticky! Female staff frowned upon request to give it a wipe as we had young kids with us. Food was average. Make staff was polite as he could. I guess it’s the cleanliness and other rude staff spoiled it for our visit. Not coming back….back to heavenly dessert. Sorry.

I absolutely love, love, love it here! I came here yesterday and it was so good that I was back again today and brought a friend with me. I really recommend their deliciously smooth and creamy gelato. I had a scoop of their creams rocher flavour (ferrero rocher) and it was absolutely scrumptious (just look at that picture🤤) 😻🍫 it's definitely my favourite, I'm literally in love. It's such good quality for the price aswell I would definitely recommend it. There's also such a wide range of flavours, I'm looking forward to trying more in the future, i'll probably get multiple scoops next time! The staff here are always smiling and made us feel really welcome , so I'm looking forward to visiting again in the future which will be soon of course😻🤤🍨. The overall atmosphere was wonderful it's a really nice establishment to hang out, bring your friends and family and enjoy delicious desserts!

Worst experience ever. Ordered a waffle and a snickers milk shake. In the milkshake found a plastic item looks like a bit off a blender. Called them up all straight away to explain whats happening and to double check the equipment. Was told that the manager would ring me back for some details. Unfortunately know response from creams since. So I'm uploading the picture I sent them of the plastic object. Hopefully this doesn't not happen to anyone else in the near future.

Food was over priced for what we got, but hygiene needs to be looked at. One of the girls itched her back, itched her hair and top of her lips in the span of a few minutes. She had long acrylic nails so you can imagine how much dead skin built up, I’m sure she wasn’t doing this on purpose and it was more of a brainless function from her but this reflects on the owners. Not her. They should either be wearing gloves or be trained properly.

Poor service. Came to the store and did not even get my order taken. Waited for 30mins with no queue. Didn’t take my order and kept ignoring us. The staff is rude and the desserts are not similar to the photos. The waffles are served cold. Would not recommend anyone to eat here.

I messaged them a photo of my apple crumble pie that turned up with burnt holes through the pie case and tasted burnt. Got ignored, didn't even get an apology so came here to leave a well deserved 1 star. Portion size is shocking (carrot cake slice) and the custard is straight out the fridge. Wouldn't bother going here if I were you.

This place may be small but wowee their wonderful Sundaes pack a punch. Wonderfully tasty, made with great ingredients from a London Gelatio. Something for all the families taste buds. Great value for money. Who needs to go to the seaside when it can come to you. A must visit for all. Great freindly staff 👏 We returned for more. Yummy 😋

Late night treat was a bit of a fail! Waffles were exceptionally cold. So cold the chocolate didn't even melt. Texture was rubbery too. I was so looking forward to this. Very disappointed indeed

Warm and delightful welcome from staff on arrival in the middle of serving another customer made us feel appreciated. Was asked where we'd like to sit and offered different ice-cream to taste to help with deciding what flavour to order. Even though the vegan crepe didn't seem to cook well we were provided with a hot vegan cookie with strawberries and banana and offered our money back for inconvenience. Thank you to Leah and her team!

Went in today. Shanice was just the best. Excellent customer service. Couldn’t do enough for us. Our desserts were out of this world. We love Creams.

We went yesterday evening by 7.00 pm with my family while place was kind of fully empty the both on the right side was 4 tables seated we have been told have to wait for tables 45 minutes to an hour for a table .while we can see restaurants is empty it’s a shame we have to left place .. there’s only two girls was working.. it’s one of our favourite places for dessert 😌 need right guidelines ..

Ordered 2 waffles and have been waiting for 40mins. Watched them mess up around 4 waffles that are just left in crumbs on the workstation. No apologies no nothing. Without any gloves.

To be honest, it is a lovely place and awesome stuff... I wanna live there :)

Ordered a thick shake earlier today and was so tasty. One girl workin on her own me and a few friends ordered diffrent shakes so took about 10 minutes but was worth the wait 10/10 milkshakes

I ordered through Uber eats today 4 cookie doughs and 2 cakes with custard. We had no custard and the cookie doughs were in 1 corner of the box after paying £48 was very very disappointed called them no manager on so emailed them with photos of the order let's see what they do. Very disappointed

Best desert place I’ve ever been too! Me and my girlfriend loved coming here today, my first time ever coming young women showed me through the menu and when the deserts arrived they where astonishing! Would recommend definitely coming here again

Lovely customer service could tell they was busy since they offered free hot beverages to everyone who was waiting, When the deserts arrived they were delicious definitely come here again. There was a little wait for our food but it was worth it!!

Visited creams for the first time today with the kiddos as my pancake making skills aren't great. Ordered 2 crepes and a kids pancake meal and the kiddos loved their food. I really enjoyed my crepe too! 10/10 from this momma. Staff were very polite and I could tell they were busy but they still took their time with me showing me the menus and where the crepes were as they're not listed under crepes. Will definitely visit again! XOXO

First time attending this store and I must say customer service was excellent the lad called Matthew was very pleasant, place was so clean and could tell the staff took pride in their work . Food was delicious not like the other stores , I will definitely come here again .

Staff member Shanice had the worst customer service skills ever seen! Looks like she needs some skilled training. The desserts were far overpriced to how they were served! The comment we got from Shanice was “If I was so bad, why did you come” Horrible attitude and disrespectful! Wont ever be stepping foot in a creams dessert shop!

Extremely disrespectful and discriminated by staff. Shanice was especially rude with attitude. Also rascim from staff was terrible and needs to be looked into. Wouldn’t recommend for coloured people. I also have a photo for the poor quality food we received.

Waited over an hour for the waffles. Told them to pack the food. 4 people behind the counter and they can't process orders, when 3/4 of the food is ready made. A BLOODY JOKE!!!!

Poor communication, waited to be served for 15 minutes to be told no longer serving waffles or crepes. Only doing online orders even though lots of people in shop.

Just been into this restaurant and found the staff very unwelcoming. And took there time to even acknowledge that you are even standing at the counter The place was dirty and didn’t even supply menus you had to try and down load it in your phone. Which is not good with the prices they charge and the signal in there is not good to do so

Their vegan sorbets have been lovely. They're not too overpoweringly sweet and just the right amount of tart. Love it.

biggest waste of money buying from here. I ordered desserts and they literally sent none of it and when i called to ask about it they were very unhelpful and the food they did send had portion sizes to feed a two year old lol. ruined our night tbh. not pleased at all. You’re better off ordering from somewhere like IGLU or heavenly desserts !!

Awful service!!! Waited approx 5 mins to be served while 2 grumpy members of staff just stared at me! Eventually order was taken with a face on. I asked what time they closed grumpy female staff member said in 30mins. She asked me if i was eating in or taking out. I said taking out. Order taken and i waited. She brought order to me in a take out box. I then asked her would it be ok if i could eat this inside as i had a slight change of heart. Staff member said no as she wanted to clean up and wanted to leave on time. People that ordered just before me (5min before my order was taken) were ok to sit and eat but i couldnt! Dessert tasted awful (milk choc cookie dough). Attitude of staff member stunk! Would never go back. First and last!!!!

Really good will defo go back , everything was done really quickly and nicola the girl who worked in there was really good she looked after a large group that just decided to pop in and not book she was very patient with us and 4 noisy kids will defo visit again soon

It was an okay experience. Many of the items on the menu were not available, the restaurant was quite dirty from the left overs from previous clients. In the 1 hour that I was there the tables were not getting cleaned. When we first arrived there was a sign advising us to wait to be seated, after a few minutes we were told to just find a table and to pick up a menu behind the desk. Personally, I don't feel this is very professional.

Had to wait 25 minutes to collect the order as a rider we don't get paid for the waiting, Need better management and show some respect to riders

Your walsall store is absolutely shambolic. There’s 3+ staff on shift and only 4 tables seated (no delivery orders) and we were waiting for 1 waffle and 1 cookie dough and 2 shakes. Our 2 milkshakes came over and plonked on the table, the waitress not telling us which is which and walked off after about 20 mins. At the 30 min mark the cookie dough finally came out, again plonked on the table, not a word from the waitress again, not even a smile or acknowledgement. At the 37 min mark the waffle finally arrives with a half hearted “sorry about the wait” I’ve worked in dessert shops, two of them in fact. It takes 3.5 mins tops to make a waffle and 2 mins to make a cookie dough, with approximately 1 min per dish to plate and decorate (if you’re slow). It takes about 3-5 mins for a milkshake to be made, depending on if the ice cream is rock hard or not. With 3 staff this could be done simultaneously, taking no more than 5 mins total to me made, then a couple of mins to come to table when someone is free. At a push, 10 mins for everything to come out. Even if they were done one after another it would take 17.5 mins to make and plate, then a few mins to come to table. My partner felt awful eating his cookie dough while i had nothing. I wouldn’t have been allowed to get away from it when I was working. Why is service like this allowed? Not a single member of staff are working hard or look like they want to be here. Trust me I get it, but it’s not the customers fault. I trust that i’m not the only customer feeling this way. EDIT TO ADD - Fudge topping was definitely stale, hard as eating a bullet (I know full well they’re not meant to be like that) and the toilets are blocked off… Fantastic really. Really the icing on the cake to be honest.

Lovely place, menu was packed full of lovely things was tough to choose. Service was fantastic, staff were all friendly. After I finished my regular hot choco, the lady who served us came over and offered the next order on the house. She came over and have me a large hot choco even though I did politey say no thanks. I was shocked tbh never been given anything free like that. So folks defo check this place out, nice people Still exist in Birmingham.

GOT SICK….Ordered through Uber eats. Waffle was not cooked properly and caused stomach ache. Received a milk shake with no straw so that went in the bin, because u can’t drink a milk shake with a spoon. And they did not have the smarties to make the sundae. Complained to the store. The person who answered did not know what was going on and after speaking to a manager yesterday who said will issue a refund the next day, which was never received. I would give 0 star if I could. Almost all food went in to the bin.

Desserts are a good portion size and priced fairly but despite confirming some of the orders, they were still wrong.

First and last visit..never going there again. Found hair in one dessert...when we complaint we were offered £10 back from a £45 order. Refused this..no apology from Creams, it's been over 3 weeks.

Sorry, but overrated for those prices. The quality is average to poor, the local is medium to low with no ambiance music. The staff was bearly working, it took them 20 minutes for a sundae and 2 more ice-creams consisting of 5 scoopes in total. 20 minutes??!!! I wouldn't recommend it, sorry. Maybe under new management I might try again...

Gelato Creams Cafe has been extremely disappointing. My first visit, recommend by a friend, we had 2 scoop tubs as carry out. And it was lovely. Second visit I checked online and details said it was open on a bank holiday. Tried calling but no answer. Got to the shop, which ALWAYS looks like it is closed, was closed. Not amused after driving several miles. Third visit on Tuesday past, got there and as usual the store front is dark, gloomy and not appealing. Opened the door and was greated by a pleasant young girl. I explained it was for carry out then she disappeared. I walked along the counter fronts and each chiller hand many missing tubs. Flavours that were on offer were not that appealing so I ended up walking out. This was my last and final trip to Creams Cafe. Albeit the first experience the ice cream was lovely; the shop floor and tables were disgusting with napkins, cutlery, straws etc lying around. Again that day the assistant was lovely and pleasant. Great staff can only do so much with the tools and product they are given, so unfortunately for me this shop is a cop out. A big thumbs down for me. Heartbreaking as I LOVE icecream!!

Expensive for portion size. My "volcano" with fudge cake(?) was not good. We smelt burning as we sat waiting for our order and it was my cake. A solid piece of coke like substance which couldn't be broken with a spoon.

The lady that served us was lovely and soo friendly! Made us feel so welcomed. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and she was very patient while taking my order and helped me decide. 100% recommend going here!

Just popped in for 3 scoops of ice-cream, 3 tables of customers (maybe 10 customers all together). 10 members of staff,I had to wait 30 minutes for my 3 scoops of ice cream which weren't really scoops 🤦🏻‍♀️, most of tables not cleaned after customers had left , the area where they prepared food was a big mess, This place needs a manager🙏and by the way scoops are very small, tiny to compare to other places I've been to

You come here for the desserts, which were lovely and tasty. Presented in a great style. The downside is the toilets were out of order but the disabled one can be used, but the handle was broken so you couldn't lock the door.

Food was good. Not to keen on both health and safety not attitudes of people serving. One young lady messed with her hair, then tied it up and put a cap on. Great. Then proceeded to mess with food and serve people. General attitudes of people was less than desired. A few were really polite and well mannered. The rest, less so and I thought a bit impolite.

no one wanted to take my order i was waiting for around 20 minutes, i was told one second and was fine with waiting but they decided to take someone else’s order instead even though they entered after i did and didn’t wait nearly as long, no one seemed to care or seemed interested to provide me with customer service. i’m not sure if it’s because i’m a person of colour but it didn’t sit right with me that white customers were served before me even though i waited longer.

Pretty disappointing visit. The place has zero atmosphere. No music. There sign says wait to be seat...no one came to seat us despite clearly seeing us. When I asked for 2 extra forks, the waitress pointed to a table of random cutlery, arranged in a way that I would put them into the dishwasher. Basically there was just no care. It's clear it's run by kids who are probably underpaid and have little to no desire to be there. They made me feel like I didn't want to be there anyway.

Absolutely shocking service waited 15 minutes for staff to come take our order after they told us to take a seat rather than order at the counter. There were 2 customers other than us so it wasn't as if they were busy Seems like staff were too busy outside having a fag break Shocking

Such a shame, as gelato once you have it you can't go back. Went to try this place at 1:30pm on Monday and they were closed. It would have been my first time trying this place but now I will be constantly thinking will they be open or not if I decide to make a journey. As on the timetable on the front door it showed they should have been open. UPDATE: May 1st 2022: Unsure why my review is showing as a week ago as I posted this about 9 months ago, but thank you for the store manager getting back regarding the door being hard to open. I am quite a muscular man so I doubt it was just "hard to push" but for argument sake, if you are aware of this simply have the door open full or a tad to avoid customers experiencing this... Easy resolve .

The girl at tills was rude as anything, snappy and impatient I came in with a group of 12 kids. I ordered a ferroro milkshake for myself,, let’s just say it taste like milk and when I complained she said well that’s our milkshake!!! Dissatisfied

The worst service I have ever experienced and not to forget the rudeness portrayed by the staff! But like always, it's an issue of colour. Better service for the light and poor service for the dark. The ice cream was nice though.

Drive there to get a dessert on Saturday evening, 9:45pm and told it’s closed even though google says 10:30pm. I bought a ticket for the car park and wasted my time.

Got charged £2.50 to change the flavour of ice cream I wanted with my dessert.

the staff need a energy boost, they make you feel so unwelcome, even tho it was a quiet night and only 1 other table was taken. no strawberries or bananas available but when you then ask to just put an extra scoop of gelato on instead they are unable to do that either. Food finally came and the waffles were not even luke warm. The price was ridiculous for what you got served

very pleasant experience! the waitress was polite, the menu is extensive, and the portions are generous (at least i can say the burrito crepe definitely was). 10/10 would recommend, just don't eat too much or you will surely suffer afterwards (like me)

When I placed my order I waited over half an hour before my food reached the table and all I ordered was a fudge cake and a waffle. Ordered chocolate fudge cake and recieved standard chocolate cake with cold custard when I asked the custard to be reheated it was so hot I nearly burnt my tongue. The stuffed waffle was not stuffed and there was no strawberries or Bananas only substitutes. I felt sorry for the girls the place wasn't overly busy but for only 2 girls on, one taking the orders and the other making the food it was a bit too much for only 2 members of staff phone was also ringing and them trying to greet new customers between the pair of them 👎
