Costa Coffee in Walsall

Perfect cappuccino! And staff are nice and friendly! It used to be not so good, but a change of staff that knows how to make a good cappuccino, makes me happy! It is 10p more than other Costa

The young lady (jess) who served me again today is just always such a pleasant person. It's so lovely to walk in to a coffee shop and be greeted by someone so lovely.

My pregnant partner and I visited this store, and the service was the worst I’ve seen. There were empty tables, but not cleaned, on asking , for them to clean one, it was like asking for the world, the girl came over with the most put out face, like I was asking for the world. The order came and it was the wrong order, again letting them know this, was like my fault! I thought speaking to the manager would help me in my visit today, to find the managers view was, that me and my pregnant partner should have sat where the tables were empty, not the tables we wanted, crazy or what! Is it to much to ask to pick up a tray and spray , am I really asking for to much? To confirm this is the Aldridge branch!

I visited today and bought a skinny latte and toasted sandwich. Not asked what size I wanted - just assumed it was large! Offer different sizes. When put in front of me I asked if they had put any coffee in as it was so weak. It looked like a glass of hot milk! Tasted disgusting! Sandwich not toasted one side. Again disgusting! I ate the sandwich as I was hungry and in a rush but left the coffee. All in all terrible

I been served by Kiran on quit a lot the past couple of month and she always put a special touch to each coffee that she make :)

Visited today. Staff quite rude when asking Customers to comply with covid regulations. They did not explain to Customers where they needed to stand and shouted out across the shop to anyone who was positioned in the incorrect place. The staff clearly preferred to stand behind the counter chatting and laughing between themselves rather than looking after their Customers. After always enjoying popping in for a quick coffee in the past, I will not be visiting this particular Costa again

After waiting ages to be served (it was busy with only 2 serving) came to pay..... they refused point blank to accept an irish £20. It's legal tender, banks will honour it etc. If they are concerned any notes conterfoil, buy a counterfeit detector pen that confirms it Considering the way things are at the moment, the cost of a pen will benefit the business in long run. Will be a long time before I go back to any Costa.....

I ordered a coconut flat white in Aldridge Costa as I have done several times, when given it I also asked “coconut flat white“ for confirmation and was told Yes, on tasting it it was normal milk, I took it back only to be told oh sorry yes it’s full fat milk!!! I appreciate mistakes can happen and I didn’t notice the milk they used but my biggest complaint is there was no apology at all, fortunately lactose doesn’t affect me I just prefer coconut milk but it is an issue for some, there needs to be more staff training and a lot more customer service, it was brushed off like I should not have even mentioned it. I’m quite amazed in today’s heightened knowledge about allergy awareness a branch of Costa should be so completely unconcerned about their mistake!!!

Great place if you like costa . Good clean plenty of seats friendly staff Good location in town . Outsde seating poor and feels an afterthought rather than an asset.

Stopped here for a cuppa. Staff friendly and coffee was ok. Struggled to get a seat and table as was very busy as well as tables filled with empties! Floor could do with a regular brush, otherwise an average Costa

Very poor quality of service, complained about the frostino as it didn't taste like what I'm used to, manager was rude and said there was nothing wrong with it even after I said it didn't taste like I'm used to. Felt like he was condescending and talking down to me.

As costas go this one was really busy but the staff were excellant . Food was tasty and hot and we had two lots of drinks.always seems full 10/10

Visited here with friends and have to say this is a good place of a decent size but it can get really busy. Staff are friendly enough however with the amount of staff on the tables wasn't being cleaned and cleared. I had to assist by taking the previous customers tray to them so that I could sit and enjoy my drink. I do find that Costa can be a bit over priced on a number of items too.

Im a Costa addict and there hot chocolates are always the best, friendly staff and warm relaconf atmosphere

I could drink mochas all day from this place. They make them well! This is a vibrant coffee house that brings some hustle and bustle with its cosmopolitan look brightening up Aldridge shopping centre.

It's just like any other Costa branch, but can get quite busy and is a decent size for a coffee shop. Staff are friendly, but service can be slow (as with any Costa or Starbucks) if the queue is long.

The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, doing all they can to make your experience a positive one.

Quick and easy fast service and hot coffee. Just what I needed as was pushed for time. Clean and tidy inside.

Serving great coffee is paramount but a friendly atmosphere and great staff are what sets Costa apart.

I come here every Sunday, and every Sunday I always leave satisfied. From the great level of cleanliness, to the helpful and polite staff, you get a great selection of drinks, and solid selection of food choices. It is reasonably priced. Can't recommend it highly enough. Great place to relax and hangout. Great coffee house.

This is the only Costa I come to on a regular basis and recently they've had a new fella making the drinks and he makes the best cappuccino I've had in a very long time and he is the friendliness one in there so for that I give him 5 ☆. But for Costa itself the table's could do with a clear every time someone as used them and lastly it is bloody freezing in there, I've asked them to turn it off but I was told they can't turn it off, so looks like everyone will have to sit in their coats from now on.

Always seems to be a queue which takes ages to go down. Service seems slow. Staff are friendly though.

Went there today and ordered my usual of chai latte and raspberry and white chocolate muffin. Have got to be honest it is always lovely, the drink is Good, the food there for my taste is wonderful and not bad I don't think. Overall the staff are great. And place is clean and tidy. Only minor thing would say is sometimes I feel they could do with more staff out front. I like going there every Sunday.

Popped in for a quick Hot Chocolate, used my loyalty card, which I like! Hot chocolate was lovely, spent about 1/2hr on the comfy settee as it was snowing.

I was very disappointed that costa do not offer vegan food options. On the plus side I was able to have a cappuccino made with soya milk.

Place has gone down hill Many of the lovely staff have left Manager acts like she doesn’t want to be there Coffee wasn’t the best either when we finally got it

It's worth dropping in whether it's for five mins or a couple of hours. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

We would pop here after baby group. Staff helpful and brought drinks/ food over to the table and made sure it was clean. They even had toys to amuse them. The barista manager is very attentive and caring. Good experience!

What a brilliant coffee shop. Me and my friends met up, had coffee and cake. Drinks were fantastic, good value for money and overall the staff were fantastic, helpful and a credit to costa. Great coffee house.

Me and my friend have a catch up every week at this Costa Coffee in Aldridge and we have never had to complain before. We always have a cappuccino, but on this occasion it wasn't up to its usually standards. It was lukewarm for a start off and just not what you would expect from Costa. Thought their coffees were meant to be different from the rest, just didn't seem to make an effort when making it. When I did complain the person in charge did make us another one, but she lacks a personality!!

Popped in to Costa for coffee with friends lovely coffee and delicious carrot cake. Very popular in Aldridge. Good view of the village and seating outside.

Excellent service. Friendly staff. Clean and yummy. Great with kids and they know what I like prior to ordering.

Ambient and relaxing place plenty of room, have an amazing coffee in a great setting staff are always friendly and smiling great way to start any day of the week.

We regularly use this coffee shop after our class at a nearby community centre. It is new, bright and airy. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. Luckily for us, it is never too busy when we visit but I would imagine that at peak time the queues would be awful and you may find it hard to get a seat. Usual Costa fare, recommended

This is a nice place to relax. There is a blonde barrister is really efficient and friendly and I must find her name. Compare to the other cafe in Aldridge it's streets ahead.I'm on crutches at the moment so I can't walk and carry stuff. Members of the staff immediately offered to bring my drinks to me and held the door open.It's a nice place.

Went with a friend on a busy Saturday lunchtime but we did find somewhere to sit and the service at the counter was quick, efficient and ourteous, with staff who seemd to really want to serve us! Good coffee, we each had a cake or a snack and it was fair value for money. I have been hers several times and the service is always good.

This Costa is one of the best I have been in and I have been in a lot of different ones. I have never had to wait a long time to get served, the place is very clean, staff are nice and I find it to be a very nice calm place compared to other Costa's I have visited.

Crowded but a fast turn over of people. Can sit outside if the dog is with us.Staff are helpful and pleasant. The only snacks are calorific cakes however.

I visited this week and ordered a tea and the new Lindt hot chocolate. They got the order wrong, they did change it when I mentioned it however no apology was given! When making the tea the woman spilt the milk all over the tray due to not looking at what she was doing! She didn't clean this up or refill the milk! Although we got the right drinks in the end it was hard work. The napkins were soaking wet! Overall I did enjoy my time here but due to the company!

Love costa coffee and this is a great cafe to visit anytime in Aldridge. Ideally placed and staff always polite and helpfull. Highly recommend.

I love it I love coffee and cake I had 4 cakes at my last Costa visit I would of enjoyed more but it's not cheap there however u pay for what you get and there stuff is quality I had a lemon tart which was perfect not to bitter just right the pastry was gorgeous I had a summer fruits loaf slice very moist sponge and fluffy fondant on top I really enjoyed the salted caramel muffin it has a sticky soft centre and the milk chocolate shortbread finger is lush topped with a Americano I will continue to enjoy Costa coffee every where

The are always polite and friendly! They've variety of cakes and sandwiches and a good seating area inside and out and it is a good location in the local village with a aray of different shops and on a good bus route.

Like all Costa outlets the coffe is great, it's always clean and friendly with plenty of room to move around. Staff always very pleasent and seem happy in their work.

Friendly staff. Place was clean and tidy. Nice cup of coffee comfy seats just to sit and watch the world gi by.

Been here a couple of times over a space of a couple of weeks. On all 3 occasions it has not been busy but the staff are incredibly slow at making the drinks. It was only a latte which shouldn't take that long to make. The Costa in Cannock work 10 times faster and know how to smile!

Stopped by here Saturday afternoon to buy 3 takeout coffees for the lads. Queue was to the door yet the staff seemed to be going at a snails pace. Happily pausing what they were doing to have a chat with each other. What annoyed me was I asked for three takeout coffees and they said three might be a struggle to carry as they had no takeout trays left so I had to go without as I only had two hands. Sort it out. Speed the pace up a little and make sure your stock is up.

Does what it says on the tin. Costa is always of a certain standard. Nice coffee and decent food but at a price. A bright cheery place to have a drink and bite to eat.

We pop in here most Saturday's for a coffee and a cake, it's always lovely, friendly knowledgeable staff and delicious coffee and cakes.

Relatively new to Aldridge and worth a visit. Great coffee, nice snacks. Service could be faster. Quite pricey too. Child friendly.

I have visited the Aldridge Costa a couple of times now and I can honestly praise the customer service. All the staff I have had contact with are always very friendly and happy. It makes visiting this particular branch of Costa a pleasure to visit.

Stopped by on a very busy Sunday morning for a takeout and was faced with a massive wait as only one person on the counter and one person making coffee. I suggest more staff on Sunday's please to cope with the extra demand.

Great place for a quick sandwich or a coffee. Centrally located and steps away from the bus stops this Costa is in a very good location for a central meeting point. With BT Open Wifi you can stay connected while having a snack while waiting for the rain to subside. Easy shopping g nearby too.

love going here, either meeting up with friends, or family, or on my own, a nice flat white and cake, go often

Nice modern place to have a nice chill and a coffee however very small and the que is always very big. Other than that it is lovely

I have been a regular since Costa opened in Aldridge. I meet friends every Tuesday for our coffee fix and a chat. Lovely and comfortable inside occasionally busy but usually wait and manage to get a table. Coffee delicious, sometimes I have cappachino, latte and if I'm cutting down on calories have it black. Medium size is very generous I've not been able to drink a large. Cakes very tasty especially crossings. Staff nice and friendly and usually quick to clear tables.

Costa coffee has converted me to flat white. Always with a slice of what is probably the best carrot cake in the world. Great atmosphere comfortable surroundings.

This is a nice place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee and a sandwich. Frequenting this store every week is a pleasure. Lots of places to sit from lounge settees to bar stools and a lot of good food to enjoy. The Manageress is a delight and very hands on Service is very good and never had a bad experience. Tables are clean and staff are attentive. A hidden jewel in the somewhat older style shopping precinct.

popped in for coffee and cake, chose Cappuccino and lemon tart, both very good. Staff are young but efficient and are always very busy.Avoid Saturdays and after 3.30pm as school children congregate and can be very noisy in the groups.....

The staff are always friendly and pay attention to detail. Always lots of seats and tables of various types suitable for a quick coffee or a longer visit to catch up with friends.

Great flat white and yummy muffins but be prepared to wait in line. Not because the staff are slow but there just aren't enough of them.

Great Costa coffee and good service to match. Staff are always really friendly and helpful too.It's ideally placed in the centre of Aldridge. There is plenty of seating, inside and out.It is quiet popular and at times the queues can take a few minutes to clear. The only other downside, is that it is close to the two senior schools in Aldridge, so between 15:30 and 16:30 it can be rather noisey and full of kids! However, I can't fault it - regular visitor since it opened for my favourite 'flat white'

A new vibrant Costa is now in Aldridge. Plenty of seating with great coffee and service. I have been here twice now and have been happy on both occasions. Costa certainly brightens up an otherwise slightly depressing shopping centre that seems to be locked in the 1970's.
