A great place to go before or after the cinema. Easy parking. Really lovely staff who couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful. Food was just great - great steak pie, good steak sizzler. All really reasonably priced. Great job Holly!

Walk in and found a table that was empty and was told to move to another table as some one had order food but there was nothing left on the table to show that someone was there . The way the staff spoke to me was so rude I left .it like the staff knew him . I feel like me and my mom wasn’t wanted and won’t be returning as it is not the way I should have be treat . DONT GO STAY AWAy

Went this morning for halloween breakfast with my 5yr old&8 yr old....we had such a great time..yummy breakfast and fab activities for the kids to do..and the host hayley was amazing!! Well done 🎃🎃🎃🎃

Snook in for a couple of beers while the missus was shopping, had a warm and friendly greeting off Hayley and was served a perfect pint 👌, well done 👏 all.

It's a fairly typical modern GK pub, but the staff and food were decent.

Lovely family restaurant, visited with our children and had a lovely meal. The kids menu has a lot on it and very reasonably priced, they loved the kids chocolate brownie. We had adult burgers and nicest burgers I always get the burger when we go. The staff are lovely too and very polite and caring with children.

Nice city centre sports bar. Some big screens for the football. A couple of real ales at a great price. And you can sit out infront of the water

I've been here a few times before with my partner and we have always had a decent experience. We decided to come in today before going to the cinema and our experience was like no other. It wasn't too busy so we proceeded to find a table and I was almost immediately greeted and welcomed. After browsing the menu I went up to the bar to order and was greated by Gemma. She was not only lovely but kind, considerate, professional and easy to joke with. She seems to be always smiling and it's great. Afterwards we got talking to Dan who is not only kind but considerate, takes an interest in our days and what we've been up to, professional and is always happy. Great experience overall with great staff. We will definitely be returning. Couldn't reccomed more than anywhere else. Definitely won't be disappointed

There were a couple of very loud tables, when they left it was much better. I wish there was a way to have others be more considerate.

I had the wrap and it was very nice and would totally have it again. My server kayleigh was very polite and friendly she made me feel very welcome and comfortable during my visit.

A bustling Hungry horse venue. Clearly a popular venue as a Father's Day lunch spot. The food was a standard 40 minute wait as per a busy resturaunt. With every table inside full and a fair few outside. The food was as good as ever. Potion sizes have decreased lately but that isn't a criticism, as I usually see plates eith around ¼ of the food left on them at many hungry horse establishments.

Food delivered did not look like the menu, and was missing components listed on the menu. Salt & spicy food was just usual food seasoned with chinese 5 spice. When pointed out a missing component to a member of staff they were quite abrupt and did not help us. Would not visit again.

Hayley served us today and she was very polite and helpful. Latte was great and breakfast was also very good. We had a booth and there is a tv to watch if you bring kids.

Mia was a lovely hostess. Polite, friendly and professional. The food arrived quickly and was hot. It tasted good, it was well presented and there was plenty of it. We stumbled across the pub as we were originally going to eat at the cinema but this visit worked out much better. We had a bottle of merlot for Under 14. It was a good wine too. It only lost a start because the windows and wine glasses were dirty. Would definitely recommend.

Food was pretty good, just a shame the chips were a bit cold and cardboard-y? Amber was super fast to help and deliver out food to our table quickly, even got our drinks quickly too. Food needs a bit of an overview but floor staff are well trained and well mannered. Praises to Amber, she deserved it

What happened to this place? I used to live in town, was regular and loved it. I went for quick meal and drink today and was shocked. Food was OK ad always, but I can't belive the service or shall I say lack of it. We finished our starter and it was after about 5-10 minutes waitress got our plates. Didn't even asked if we enjoyed the food and said with bored tone are you having anything else. We did have mains so we confirmed. Bare in mind this place used to be packed on Saturdays, but it was so quiet, I am not surprised as staff has zero interest in customer. We had our main served. Again no one came to check if our food was OK. Staff sat in booth by bar and few stood behind the bar leaning over it having a chat with each other. Whoever manages this place needs to put some standards and training in for staff or looking on how dead it is it won't survive too much longer. Shame.

Food was very good, but could have been hotter

First time at this venue and really enjoyed the evening,we went as part of a large group,all meals came out together and all was excellent.atmosphere was great and staff really friendly and provided excellent service.,a credit to the venue and company.will definately be going again

Cocktails absolutely shocking definitely not worth the money management didn’t see nothing wearing with the cocktail, it’s been made the completely wrong way tastes like water rather spend my money in pere finos opposite. Wouldn’t come he again, my mocktail tasted out of date gone off and sour 🤢

Never again! Managed to ruin a family dinner out! Food arrived cold, a dish was missed off completely.. and beware if you have an allergy! They ask if you do, you tell them you do ..And they completely ignore it!! Bad attitude of waiting staff when complained. Good job I think it was The chef had something about him and gave a full refund, but can 100% guarantee will never go again.. as I told him. Left and went to eat at the Chesnut Tree where food and staff 100% better!

Hayley was a friendly and polite server. And gave a great first impression of The Waterfront. The super breakfast arrived at the table quickly and looked delicious. Upon further investigation the mushrooms were cold,the sausage wasn't of the same high quality of the bacon and the eggs were slightly snotty. Overall the food was slightly colder that you would expect ,despite the fast delivery.However it was still great value for money and worthy of visiting again.

Lovely staff terrible food though and I don't like the ceiling lights when u bite into the chicken strips all of the batter comes off the chicken so you're just there with nothing but a strip of chicken and a few cucumber sticks

Lots of choice on the menu. You pick your own table and order at the bar. Chicken skewers were good. Easy to park. Friendly staff.

I've visited a few Hungry Horses in the past and have mixed views. This one however couldn't have been better. The food was hot and tasty, the staff were friendly, the pub was clean and overall it was a really great experience

Fantastic service and excellent quality of food at a great price. Amber provided wonderful service for us and made us very welcome.

A good mix of food and things to do. And, a 5 minute walk to the town centre.
