I don't understand the other reviews here. I've been here twice and planning more trips at the moment, although at the time of writing this it is temporarily closed (not sure why).
I've been there with my parents and my boyfriend on different occasions and the service was lovely. Food tasted amazing, everything was clean and the plates were warmed. We also enjoyed some of the chocolate fountain. The price is completely reasonable.
Went to watch a live act the other night, the music was great and so was the staff however night was ruined when the owners started gobbing off at musician outside and was overall rude and horrible apparently this is well known through Stratford that the owners are like this.
My friend told me it’s known as the ‘Benidorm’ of Stratford and not in a good way so yeah avoid this place unless you’re drunk enough not to care
Arrived 40 mins late and lukewarm. Was ordered as a birthday meal so really quite annoyed by this. Had prepared other food to accompany and all was cold by the time they came. Will not be ordering again. Fuming!
I have been twice in the last couple of weeks and have had medium chips.
The first time the chips was still hard and today they had no vinegar and I had about 10-15 chips in the box very poor so got refund
Popped in as staying locally and loved this quirky pub. Lots of sitting area and you can collect a take away or stay in and eat in the bar. Plates, forks and napkins all available.
The food was excellent and my husband was amazing I got through my Pad Thai chicken portion. I really like how this pub has diversified. Great local feel and if I lived locally many teas would come from here.
No tendrán extraños (o problemas) aquí.
No me malinterpretes.
We have been here a couple of times recently, and it is really lovely. We have had amazing meals and the staff are so attentive and friendly, we have been looked after by the lovely Nadine who couldn't do enough for us. And our Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection by Andrew the Chef, thank you all so much for a wonderful experience. We will be back!!
The food here has always been just ok, but tonight, overcooked, burnt smelling food.
We tried to eat it as we’d made the effort to collect it and didn’t really want to have the hassle of taking it back. If they had any pride it should never of left the kitchen door!!!!
Most went in the bin. Im not a fussy eater but this was terrible. Never again, complete waste of money.
I wanted to express my gratitude, as someone with chronic fatigue and difficulty regulating temperature I experienced great customer service. I wear a sunflower lanyard and was treated patiently, and helped with ordering something to help stabilize my energy levels. I can't remember the name of the barista who helped me, but I am so grateful for the help, as my energy was severely dropping <3
The staff were really helpful, listened and responded to all my requests quickly and effectively. The room was beautiful and the food was perfect. Thank you.
