KFC Warwick - M40 North Services in Stratford-on-Avon

We stopped here on our way back to Manchester from Boomtown, and I’m happy to say we had an absolutely unbelievable KFC experience. The service was quick and the food was fresh, fried, and crispy. Also, it helped our friend, who, after a long 5 days at Boomtown was about ready to chun all over the backseat (it was the refreshing, ice cold, fizzy and orangey Tango which really helped). All in all the feast was bountiful, our bellies are full and our bowels are empty (toilet facilities were also excellent) and we are ready for the final leg of our journey back home. Menu machines never working and they never have all food and drink items available, there's always something they haven't got

Great service, the person on the tills at 4pm was extremely helpful to my disabeled father when he went to pick up his food, great customer service ! Would deffintely come here again, made our experience great!!

Pathetic. Staff not able to put meal through till. Very rude Then proceeded to serve 2 other people before trying to get help. Don't know what the food was like - never actually got served.

Was mostly ignored, the manager is so distant and his customers get in his way!

Two facts of life about this place; your order will never be right and your chicken will never be crispy.

Turned everything off an hour before closing hours

The ordering devices never have paper for receipts. Unless you are quick enough to take a picture of your order number it is difficult to get your order. I was asked about every single item I ordered and some staff gets mad when you don't know every single menu name. KFC, shorten you text on the receipts if you want to use less paper, but don't just stop supplying the machines . I've seen this happening in other KFC locations as well. Also, selling without a receipt is breaking the law. UPDATE: their receipts are much shorter now and the machines are actually giving receipts. You've earned your stars 🌟

Could of gone home , ordered a chicken , waited for delivery, grass fed it for month, skinned it , seasoned it , cooked it on a 8 hour slow cook and all of that would of been quicker then my order .

Paid for 3 wings and they gave me 2 and some tiny little thing the six of a baby carrot. Tried to go back and tell them but they were busy and I had limited time.

I Travelled 30 Minutes down to the services that this KFC is located at, and for what? Just to realise that they closed 1 1/2 hours early for no good reason. Everything else in the services was running perfectly. It’s not like they had a good excuse either, there were 5 employee’s in my view so its not like they didn’t have the staff. Absolutely grotesque service as well. Didn’t even get a chance to walk over and ask if they were open before an employee gave me a “not happening” hand gesture and retreated towards the back

We wanted to eat something not sweet & luckily kfc was on our way at a services. We tried their always best Popcorn chicken dish, it was delicious. Quick service, friendly staff, plenty seating area, cleanliness, easy parking are there.

Got skanked on a meal with two pieces of chicken both legs... and not nice. Also the strips were chewy and chips are always rubbish from KFC. Another fast food place on the list to avoid.

Stopped on way back from Wembley. Food itself quite good, however service absolutely awful, the staff were deperately opening packages of meals, trying to identify which order was which. The screen showing meals ready was increasing in number, but no meals being given out, queues increasing. Staff, when challenged by customers, saying they didn't know what to do, supervisor equally inept, unbelievabley bad. The surprising thing was when I eventually got my food, it was actually one of the best KFCs I've ever eaten with 4 pieces of Chicken all plump breast meat, no drumsticks or wings, which you usually receive a mix of, again probably due to staff being useless and not trained properly.

If there was a no star option, I'd have chosen it. Zinger burger. Dreadfully dried food, staff don't give a t*ss, too busy chatting and having fun. Chip portion incredibly small. 2 x hot wings must have been on the hotplate all day, dried out. Eat elsewhere, this places is as low as it gets for fast food. DO KFC MANAGEMENT ACTUALLY READ THESE REVIEWS 🤔 Look at the ones before mine.

Absolutely shocking customer service, no chicken only drumsticks, piss poor altogether & WONT be going back

My family were served by Owen at KFC Warwick. He couldn’t have been more kind, friendly and professional. He deserves a pat on the back and a bonus.

Food wasn't fresh. Staff picking his teeth with nails and touching food. Not great.

I've just eaten the best KFC I have ever had. The chicken was hot and juicy - not a single dry bit. My fries were hot and perfectly done and my beans were hot as well. I've been to loads of KFC's across the country and all too often the food was luke warm and the chicken on the dry side but not this time. The staff were lovely and really looked like they worked together as a team. Great service. I made a point to go and tell them that it was the best KFC I had had - the one girl said she was going to tell Fabio - I assume he is the manager so to him I say, you have a great team and a great branch.

The food was not very good. The 'large' chips still seemed small. One piece of chicken was very dry. Both me and my girlfriend got food poisoning after eating there yesterday. We have both been very, very ill, and it has taken more than 24 hours for us both to recover. I will never eat KFC again for the rest of my life!

The worst fries I've ever ate in my life. Is not difficult to do a proper french fries but is soggy and cold. Very disappointed. As well the chicken wings, soggy not crispy. I felt that all the essence of KFC is lost on this brunch.

Extremely slow, extremely expensive

So I had HGV food vouchers. Vouchers issued to HGV drivers, (you know the people, the ones who were classed as KEYWORKERS but now back to being scum of the Earth) when parking overnight as an incentive so I used them at KFC. I waited patiently to be served. I was ignored by the manager of KFC. Could I place an order at KFC, not a chance. The girl serving at KFC was working hard while the queue was building up. I still could not place my order manually at KFC as I had HGV vouchers as I am a KEYWORKER! Know what I did, thats right, went over to Burger King and used my HGV vouchers! Not KFC as planned but Burger King where I did get served and recognised as A KEYWORKER. Look at my other reviews and 👍

Food is good. Service is OK. Tables are always clean. Closest place for us to get KFC

30mins to collect chicken poppers and chips was ridiculous...not FAST food.

Another bad KFC I've been to. Trying to charge for sources. Sachets 20p each and tubs 60p. What a joke. They come with the food and not there for your tips checky as. 👎👎👎

A bit of a stomach upset, even though I ate at KFC more than once, there was no such thing, and I ordered here twice and twice they didn't give me the sauce I paid for.

Ordered my food on electronic board no paper to print my order off. When the girl for my order number she I had not paid. And I would have no food. I ask for the manager an d a young girl agian said I had not paid. I said I can show I paid and showed her on line . She very aggressive this is your order the food was rubbish. I only give you 1 star because I can't give zero stars .

Clean services . Lots of parking available . It's a busy services with a number of food & drink outlets.

Food was ok, sauces were missing and a long wait for food. Only one server. Visited on a Tuesday evening at 8.30pm.

Although the food was good we were disgusted on how it was served. It was thrown into a big brown paper bag. When we got to the table the chips had fallen out of their bags some ended up on the floor! Time was a meal would be presented in a box.

Part of motorway services but price of zinger burger meal was not overly inflated. Parking is free and you can order at the screens. Service was quick, premises clean and plenty of room to sit inside or out. Worth a visit if passing

The staff are polite, its very clean and tidy, however it is very un organised especially when its busy people waiting around everywhere for the orders its not clear that you have to order from the machine before collecting your food. Was also a very very slow service it wasn't even peak times when we went. Not good when you have hungry kids!

Food ok, too long waiting for basic meals. Management need to anticipate demand better so customers are not waiting 15-20 mins for single meal orders.

The North bound and South bound services have a pretty much identical KFC. There are very easy to use touch screens for you to very easily and quickly make your order. As expected (due to the current (August 2021) delivery logistics issues) some items on the menu are not available. There covid screens at the service point and food orders are made up quickly. Still plenty of choice whether you want boneless or traditional bucket style KFC chicken options.

Terrible service 50 min wait on our stopover to Lake District . Excuse was the wraps took a long time. Not enough staff and 3 people serving but 2 in kitchen for friday night in peak season!!! The wraps were nothing amazing with some sauce and chicken so not sure what took so long to make and the youngster was even argumentative. NEVER going to KFC again as second time the food has been disappointing

Only 2 hours free parking but also can be busy seating was good.

Understaffed and hence long queues, expensive even for a service station and then to top it off some of the worst chicken I've ever had. Extremely disappointed by this KFC experience, will find a McDonald's next time

Terrible. No staff. Its as if busy Fridays are a surprise. Avoid!!!

Food was standard and matched expectations for a KFC. However service was very slow. On both occasions that I visited, the staff themselves seemed to be working hard to get the orders out, however there didn't seem to be that many of them, meaning that if a customer had an enquiry about an order, the rest of the orders started to backlog.

This place is a dump, no napkins or forks provided, expect you to queue again to get them and then give you attitude.

You make TRILLIONS charging us what you charge, do us the favour to sort out the order paying machines

Good covid measures in place, hand sanitizer etc. Would be good to have someone cleaning the touch screens after use. Yummy burger!

Perfect fried chicken every time

Great usual food. Staff nice and offered extras. Salt, sauces etc.

Service was very slow as there was only two preparing the meals during what is a very busy restaurant. A couple of the orders got called out for collection, and they weren't picked up. I could only imagine that the customers got fed up waiting on their orders. The saving grace was that the chicken was being cooked to order as it was so busy and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. Not the girls fault about the orders being delayed. This is a management problem who needs to recruit more staff and put them to use preparing orders when it's as busy as it was today.

Clean, good covid precautions... but. Food overcooked, and the chips, well, a very small bag with five chips and what looked like fried potato skins. Not good at all.

Food was fast enough but for a KFC it was barely warm let alone hot.

No problems with food, indeed fries were very good (freshly cooked and still crispy). Typical services prices. Ordered food as eat in, but no paper plates provided.

Under the circumstances I'm going to be in the middle,service was very good chicken good,and that's where i stop,overall cleanliness was good but still found food still on the floor in which my shoes had found,and also it was freezing in there (possibly during the day it was hot)but our visit was early evening,and as usual a visit to the toilets was required but as normal the horrible motor way restroom stench hits u,but overall its good so don't let my views put you off,as I would recommend 💯%

I ate at this KFC just popped in for late lunch and the customer service experience was terrible. The lady on that gave me my food didn't smile and gave me my food no words nothing. I looked around for mr straw,napkins before I had to go back to the counter and ask for them. I mentioned about the service to her then a second staff member stood up and mentioned the pandemic. I understand we are in a pandemic. I have 2 pubs a cafe and a tapas bar and we do table service in this pandemic so I understand. But I wasn't shown respect or treated respectfully. Understand the pandemic isn't an excuse to not do the job properly. I will not be coming back I will just keep driving. Thanks DM

Not enough staff since having self order pods

Abysmal service waited over 20 minutes for my meal with just one woman serving at 1230ish on a weekday my coffee had been on the counter while waiting and was stone cold. I said i dont want that one she said ok and served others i never did get my coffee. Never again for us.

Overspiced, overpriced fast food.

Typical KFC... Sometimes it's banging, sometimes it's dripping in grease and you wouldn't feed it to your dog. Staff are somewhat rude and unhelpful, just like every other KFC you've been to...

All staffs work without gloves. Even kitchen staffs!

Uhh for a start they gave us the wrong change on the meal(60p more!!!)and the table service was great. THE LAD AT THE COUNTER WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND I THINK I MIGHT LIKe him. He also offered to put our spare food in a little bag which is awfully kind. Why arent there more people like him in this world!!! Bloody hell. He carried our food on one arm and held our drinks too!!! Talk about kindness!! If that fella reads this i'm still single and i probably still live in the tk maxx basement!!! ;))))💕

Worst service in the world... Over half an hour waiting for to meals! Fast food this is not!

Really poor service, staff were propping up the counter, never said a word to most of the customers no please or thank you or enjoy your food. It was a perfect example of staff no caring and making it obvious that they really don't want to be there. Avoid!

Horrible service! This restaurant is not taking club card and the notice sign is smaller than a burger..... totally waste time! AVOID!!

A small wait for the food, but it was lunch time and busy so acceptable. The food was piping hot through out and the new chips are a much welcomed change from the old style KFC chips.
