The best restaurants in Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

My husband and I have been using this chinese for around 10 years. We have it every other week. Same order every time. All the food is very tasty and fresh. And the service is always good. We are never disappointed.

A fascinating pub that we were told was once owned by Henry VIII and given to Catherine of Aragon on their divorce. Then owned by Magdalene College Oxford for hundreds of years. It’s certainly old with flagstone floors, lots of panelling and a no longer accessible secret passageway to the church across the road. Top that with decent beers, a short freshly cooked menu and friendly service

A group of us visited The Limes yesterday evening for a Birthday celebration. It's a lovely venue but sadly let down by appalling Service. There only seemed to be two members of staff Waiting on the Dining Area, one was totally inexperienced and hadn't got a clue (not his fault if he hadn't been trained) and as a consequence the other was rushed off his feet. Problemswe experienced including very slow service, the New staff member not knowing what drinks they sold, what measures to sell them in, or how to work the "till" at the Bar. Then, when the main courses eventually arrived, one of our Guests was served with vegetables on their plate that were still frozen solid ! (Made me wonder how well everything else had been "cooked" ?). That meal was eventually replaced after others in the party had already finished theirs, and then while the guest was still eating her replaced meal, the staff began clearing the table and removed everyone else's plates - very bad etiquette which gave the impression that they just wanted to get rid of us, so we didn't stay much longer ! Having said all that the prices were reasonable, and my own meal ( Cod and chips ) was quite good, but I won't be going back.

Call this genuine Italian coffee? If you want real Italian coffee and a nice experience go to Corte Campana in Bell Court.

And excellent afternoon out!!! I went here on a date with my boyfriend and all of the staff were so lovely and welcoming. The seats are so comfortable which really adds to the experience. The food was delicious and definitely worth the pricing. Would definitely recommend taking a trip here.

Lovely meal as always. The wine and dine menu is excellent value. Jodie did an excellent job of keeping the cocktails flowing. Judging by my head the next day maybe a bit too well 🤣

Number 399 I enjoyed a thoroughly enjoyable meal from the time-limited game menu. My starter was an interesting contrast of pan fried pheasant, crispy pancetta, salads, and blue cheese. My main was pâté-topped Venison Rossini on ciabatta with greens, very interestingly prepared roast potatoes and a port source. Heavenly. The standard menu is a great selection, too, although I was lucky to have the game menu option on this visit.

We stopped here on our way back to Manchester from Boomtown, and I’m happy to say we had an absolutely unbelievable KFC experience. The service was quick and the food was fresh, fried, and crispy. Also, it helped our friend, who, after a long 5 days at Boomtown was about ready to chun all over the backseat (it was the refreshing, ice cold, fizzy and orangey Tango which really helped). All in all the feast was bountiful, our bellies are full and our bowels are empty (toilet facilities were also excellent) and we are ready for the final leg of our journey back home. Terrible Ordered at 7pm told within the hour that's ok 8.45 delivery to be fair delivery driver brilliant probably putting up with loads of grief due to stupid owners phoned them to complain and all he said was discount I've used them for years never again

I always pop in to The Golden Bee when visiting Stratford. Well served drinks at a fair price. I just wished they had more of an observant glass collector though! Empty glasses left on tables for over half an hour!

Been our favourite chinese for years, always been delicious! Sad to see the bad reviews, food is always hot and tasty!! Definitely recommend the crispy beef

Very relaxed vibe. Four playful cats in the beer garden.

Nice place. Staff were friendly and polite. Stoned floor, usual tap beers and a few real ales available. TV on the wall showing sport. Tables and chairs were adequate, descently decorated. Enjoyed my visit.
