The Farm in Stratford-on-Avon

Salimos a brunch con la familia, nos dieron el menú del desayuno y nos dijeron que ordenáramos dentro, entramos a pedir unos minutos más tarde solo para que nos dijera un miembro diferente del personal que ya no estaban sirviendo el brunch y tendríamos que esperar 30 minutos para pedir desde el menú del almuerzo. Tuve que seleccionar de otro menú y esperar media hora con niños hambrientos. Regresamos y nos dijeron que estábamos dos minutos antes y que esperar dos minutos más antes de que nos dejaran ordenar. Después de este punto, el personal desapareció y estaba sentando a otras personas y ya no alrededor para tomar nuestro pedido por otros 5 minutos. Simplemente sentí que el personal no le importaba y nos hizo esperar siglos para un sándwich mediocre y caro ¡No volveré!

Visité aquí tres veces cuando se alojó muy cerca de la carretera en el camping Green Gates. Deliciosa comida disponible en la tienda y una zona exterior bien cuidada para el café con un parque de juegos para los niños, incluyendo una estructura de escalada, croquet, césped jenga y un par de cerdos. Tuvimos un desayuno inglés completo y fue increíble, uno de los mejores que he tenido. También había una gran selección de plantas en una tienda cercana.

No había comido en Cobbs antes, pero había visitado su hermosa tienda de la granja, así que pensé que valdría la pena intentarlo. Está en un hermoso lugar en la cima de la colina y es popular entre los caminantes. Hay un montón de aparcamiento gratuito y se puede caminar por el terreno para ver los diversos animales de granja. Cobbs se encuentra caminando por la lujosa tienda de la granja. Cuenta con una gran cafetería cubierta y zona de estar al aire libre con un marco de escalada de madera popular entre las familias. Yo estaba allí con un amigo y estaba contento de que a las 11 am todavía podíamos pedir el desayuno. Mi amigo tomó el desayuno vegano que parecía encantador. Tenía un desayuno bap totalmente cargado que era perfecto, era enorme con tocino crujiente colgando de los lados y todo cocinado a la perfección. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Sobreprecio por lo que es. Huevo de jamón y patatas fritas eran geniales, pero £ 15 por 2 huevos, 2 trozos delgados de jamón y un puñado de patatas fritas es demasiado. También fuimos 1 de alrededor de 5 mesas que terminaron de pie en la parte delantera para intentar pagar después de esperar media hora para la cuenta. Probablemente necesite un poco más de organización en el frente de la dotación. La mayoría de los artículos de la tienda también son aproximadamente un 30 % más que los centros de jardinería vecinos.

Fui a almorzar ligero y estaba muy contento con la oferta de menú y lo que elegí para comer y beber. El personal, es decir, Rhianna y Ben era muy amable y profesional.

Lugar encantador, acogedor, personal amable. Limpio, buena relación calidad-precio . Desayuno muy sabroso y almuerzo igual. Calidad muy buena 👍. Granja buena selección.

¡Qué hermoso lugar familiar! El personal era atento y vio para registrarse varias veces. Megan nuestro servidor recomendó a mi marido para tener el jamón, queso y tostadas de higos que estaba delicioso. ¡Soy celíaca y tenía las setas salteadas que eran hermosas! Me alegro de haber encontrado este lugar. Sin duda recomendaría.

Servicio amable pero la comida no es genial esta vez. Pedí huevos revueltos en masa madre con hongos. Desearía que pusieran en el menú si son huevos reales o las cosas energizadas! Definitivamente no huevos reales y estropeó todo el desayuno.

Este lugar solía ser increíble ahora que evitaría como la plaga. El servicio al cliente es inexistente, el café está dirigido por un gerente grosero shambolic. Y la comida ha bajado colina abajo. No vayas, realmente vendido al mundo corporativo

Fuimos a almorzar y mientras que mi huevo con papas fritas estaba bueno, la ensalada César de mi esposa fue decepcionante. En su mayoría lechuga y crutones desmenuzados. Algo de pollo. Sin anchoas. Sobreprecio por lo que era. El café era bueno, pero el “cordial” de grosella negra era simplemente Ribera muy débil. El restaurante no estaba ocupado, ya que estábamos allí alrededor de las 3, pero tuvimos que ir a la caja ya que el personal no buscaba activamente ayudar. En general, la experiencia promedio con un menú sobreprecio.

Pasamos unos días en la localidad, con Cobbs muy cerca. La comida en el restaurante era de buena calidad y el servicio muy bueno. Muy útil para tener todos los artículos de la cafetería disponible como una comida para llevar también. Tienda con un montón de artículos frescos con quiches caseros, rollos de salchichas y ciruela crumble que no te puedes perder. Sin embargo, el precio era “alto”.

Awesome breakfast super friendly accommodating staff the chap who took our breakfast order was soooo polite and two of the ladies we spoke to so sorry we didn’t get a name, maybe put on feedback cards ? As these members of staff are a real credit to your company amazing customer service we will defiantly be back we brought our 83 yr old mother and she said it was the best breakfast she had ever had !! 5 stars all round !!

Booked here for lunch on a recent trip. Nice welcome. A few things on the menu which weren’t available which was disappointing however what I did have was great. Bit of a wait for our lunch but as I say when it came mine was great. Cheese toastie with chilli, mustard etc. Very tasty. Nice deli and shop too.

Was staying nearby in the area & decided to go here for Sunday lunch. It was lovely, good quality meat & veg, very nice staff. Would definitely recommend going

We had a lovely visit and really enjoyed ourselves. Julia our server was brilliant! Food was delicious and the coffee was great! Will come back soon.

Nice little cafe attached to farm shop. Friendly, welcoming and fast service. Slightly limited menu, but good food and coffee.

We went for afternoon tea. It was a late Mother's Day plus my Daughters 21st. We got seated and staff was very friendly. The afternoon tea came out with were both shocked. It advertises a range of sweet treats. We had cheese sandwiches ham sandwiches with salad. Then 1 scone with jam and cream each. 1 sliver of Victoria sandwich cake each. 1 flapjack type cake. 1 coffee each. No unlimited tea offered. It was very disappointing not worth the £40.00 we paid

Visited for Sunday lunch and were very pleased we did! Combination of vegetarians and meat eaters we settled down to nut roasts, beef and chicken mains. All devoured enthusiastically, delicious sides of cauli cheese a must. Everything was great inc efficient service and friendly staff. Awesome take away cakes for enjoying at home later. Will be back

I last at here about 6 months ago and it's gone downhill. The food, although about £14-£16 came as a small 'starter' serving. I hax the fishcake which was like mush, baby food in the form of a fishcake. No crispy outside, just something your elderly relative with dentures could have. Where has the nice food with good portions gone? Only saving grace was Ben the server who was very nice, friendly and attentive.

We visited for Sunday lunch and although the food was fine the service wasn’t great. We were shown to our table but then after half an hour of no one returning to take our order I had to go to the counter to place it. We then waited another 25 mins for the food to arrive so we had been sat for nearly an hour before eating. The table was missing cutlery and there were food remnants from previous customers on the floor. Lovely setting so shame it was let down by service.

Second visit the week with another one meeting family again tomorrow for brunch. Ben in the cafe is superb at his job very attentive and will request him every time. I would be giving a 5 star, but it’s only let down on a couple of things that are easily rectified. I had toast and coffee this morning, expecting some lovely bread only to be disappointed- solution, charge a bit more for some lovely fresh bread proper sourdough maybe even organic! Also let’s see some lovely preserves on the menu not the sort you can get at travellodge. Partner had full English and bacon had been way over cooked, but everything else lovely. Having been to Daylesford Organic the day before (though you can’t compare the two) Cobbs could be lifted by the use of organic produce. However, the coffee is sublime definitely the best coffee I have ever tasted! I bought some to take back to my French home. Overall this is a lovely place to have meetings with colleagues or family and I do recommend it, but just because it’s busy it must not be complacent as some improvements would take it to 5 stars indeed. Well done the team they are very good at hosting. ❤️

Visited 3 times this week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lovely setting, great atmosphere, clean farmshop and cafe with excellent offerings. In particular, a young man called Ben in the cafe was superb - a great asset to this cafe . I had to mark down only because the breakfast was disappointing. Knife wasn’t sharp, bacon was terribly dry, hard and over baked. And the bread served was cheap white sliced supermarket stuff. A far cry from the lovely sourdough bread in their farmshop. I would travel a 1000 miles for their coffee - it’s simply the best and I would challenge anybody to find better.

This place has really taken a downward turn since Cobbs took it over. The restaurant used to be lovely now it’s a much reduced menu and very slow service. Quite over priced too.

Lovely lunch today, the cafe is very inviting and warm. Coffee is always great. My visit to the farm shop was also very pleasant, and managed to find some great stocking fillers for Christmas presents- staff in the shop were all so friendly and welcoming.
