Worst Costa I have ever been to. Stay away. Menus weren’t on display so when asking which iced coffees they do, I got "um iced lattes" in the dullest voice ever making me feel like it was an inconvenience. One barista disappeared leaving a very long queue. Customers in front kept getting wrong orders and our food was given to them by mistake. When finally getting out drinks, despite looking at our receipt, we still had to remind the barista we had ordered a cake. On three occasions we were asked if we were eating in or taking away (we were eating in) but still got drinks in a takeaway cup. The only free table that was somewhat "clean" still had mess and the chairs we sat on were soaked, and the floor was covered in spilt water and milk causing my partner to slip and pull a muscle. We wanted to use a gift card which we told the cashier, but she had turned around and activated the card machine, and when I reminded her I had a gift card that was greeted with a grunt and sigh! Let’s not forget the dirty fork at the customer bin which looks like it had been there a few days!

Been here plenty of times with no issues, but this last visit I was totally ignored for about 5 minutes, then when I did get my order the cup was only half full !! Really annoying when you are getting yourself a coffee from a shop as a treat, and you only get half a drink. Very disappointed

Coffee was okay as someone who’s very experienced in working in Costa and going for competitions and know the Costa brand standards the drink in drink glasses where not pre warmed so wasn’t that hot and the cappuccino had no ring of coffee chocolate on top was not used with a stencil and was not smooth silky froth and was made by the team leader on a Fri 12:50 so for a team leader to do this it says a lot 👏🏼 and can see whilst waiting in the queue a lot of things done wrong not up to Costa brand standards

Lovely place to sit in and really pretty. Staff were really nice. Vanilla latte could have had more vanilla syrup in but that’s personal preference

As a big Costa fan, I'm really shocked as to how dirty the Costa cafe is in Stratford upon Avon Town, there is no comparison to the one on the Maybird by Waitrose which is really lovely. I went in yesterday and there seemed to be only one lad in there, and when I sat down there wasn't a clean table in the place, also the floor was filthy, and generally dirty... we will definitely NOT be going in there until things improve if ever.... rather go to Starbucks......

Friendly staff, and good service, however I’m concerned their making an iced mocha wrong. What I’ve observed at other locations, and this one previously, is that they’re meant to use cocoa powder but their appear to be using some sort of syrup which isn’t anything similar to what you’d get in a mocha. I might be wrong, but it’s certainly not what I expect.

I came in today (Saturday) for a nice place to have a coffee and read my book and a young lady named Mae served me. Her customer service was excellent, she not only brought my drink upstairs to me but she also brought a drink up for my friend later on which considering it is so busy on a saturday i felt went above and beyond what she needed to do. I will definitely be coming her again!

Visited from Rugby yesterday and was served by a lovely young woman called Kat despite being heavily pregnant she still went above and beyond and with a smile. Also the other young man and woman were lovely 🥰

We were served by an absolutely lovely staff member called Scott. Really genuine, funny and kind. Wish everyone was as kind as Scott.

Ignorant and incompetent staff. Toastie cooked on one side only and a wet mess on the other side. Latte had to be remade. Girl on the till did not seem to understand that ‘thank you’ is a more polite response rather than ‘there you go’. Who trains these people???!

Coffee code is always my first choice when it’s around so let me grab a cappuccino so I can enjoy at riverside 😃. Btw wasn’t much busy so been served quickly. Love to sit inside as nice & quiet atmosphere but wanna walk to riverside.

I really like the drinks at costa, i usually get a caramel oat frappe with no cream, i recommend you try a frappe if you go here, but its usually packed with people since its in the center of stratford, so i wouldnt sit inside here, but its good for takeaway :D

I'm afraid the staff in here need better manners called in to bluntly and ignorantly be told by a female staff member. were closed get out. Disgusting won't set foot in here again go elsewhere.

Overspent for 3 drinks that were under-served in smaller takeaway cups because staff couldn't tell the difference between staying in or takeaway. Drink serving was so short the coffee tasted more like a plain single expresso.

Wasn't very busy so didn't have to wait long. It was such a hot day, it was lovely to sit inside with the benefit of Aircon 😀

New site, for us anyway, and a few shops up from the original Costas. This is a better location offering more space. Much bigger inside than the frontage suggests with modern and bright decor. Seating at the back and upstairs too. The usual good coffee and choice of food but the toilets are neglected, which is disappointing considering how new the place is, they need a thorough clean. Tables are also slow to be cleared. Service can be slow too so next time we will check the queue at the counter before eating.

Best Costa I've been to, the staff were lovely and friendly and the drinks were amazing

A new shop which has tables outside and an upstairs, just needed a good clean in the afternoon we were there. Prompt service. Usual good coffee.

Not been to Stratford since Costa moved to the old Nero outlet. Great coffee served by a super efficient team. Busy but no panic, the guys handled the constant queue with true professionism, which was much appreciated by the customers. Will be heading for there again on my next visit to Stratford. .

Replaced Caffe Nero in the same unit. Has a first floor extra seating area. Costa WiFi. Their previous building is now vacant. Close to Shakespeare's birthplace.

This was the branch in Stratford upon Avon. Not a massive outlet but provides good quality food and drinks. Seating outside and extra upstairs. No room inside for a wheelchair but crutches or a stick is ok. More staff serving needed when busy. Otherwise a pleasant place to go.

Beautiful new shop. Much larger. No staff. You were not allowed to eat inside. No tables available outside as there’s only about 4 so left and went into coffee #1 opposite. Having no staff is happening in all Costa shops. Pay the staff well and they might be happy to work for you

The staff were friendly and welcoming the whole eating area kept spotlessly clean the range of drinks and cakes standard Costa so you know exactly what you are getting some outside seating but closing at 5.30 on a Saturday quite early when the town was so busy. Would certainly return

Went into the new relocated store. Rubbish piled up outside..not a good look...short staffed so queues formed...not a parch on the old location.. the new building could just be any old anonymous costa..no character.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE . The best spot to enjoy a great coffee and a good view of Stratford . The building has the soul of the city . Elisa, Lucy and Chad are amazing persons who gives you a smile and perfect attention . THANKS GUYS !

Advertised as closing at 6pm but noisy cleaning well under way just after 5pm. Furniture being clumped about and not very welcoming at all. No wonder it was half empty.

Great facade, central location in heart of town. Bright and airy inside. Good service. Very busy, but have covid measures in place.

Dropped by for a quick coffee, we were served by a yoof who thought I’d asked for a gingerbread latte, I’d asked for a skinny latte, I explained what I wanted but he charged me for & tried to serve me a gingerbread latte. I explained again what I wanted (I’d given up with the ‘skinny’ bit). We eventually got our drinks, I’m a Costa regular so know service is usually pretty quick, I took a sip of my drink & can only describe it as being tepid at best, hubby took it back & the yoof claimed he’d made it the correct temperature! I was really unimpressed as he was making out we were being awkward.

Visited here on the last Saturday of July, so after “freedom day” it has to be one of the smallest Costa coffee shops I’ve ever been to (I’ve been to a lot of Costa coffees, my husband and daughter love Costa), with how busy it...

Dropped in for a coffee.. Staff very abrupt re covid measures..treated like running a prison camp.. No manners.. Shouting at people who were inches off their mark on the floor.. No please or thank you's.. They appeared on a massive power trip.. Then sat outside...

Called in for an early morning coffee. Costa coffee is always good and this was no exception - keep it up.

Undrinkable, so strong bitter and bit floating. Told staff they seamed very uninterested, said all they could do was tip most of it away and fill with hot water, which they did and it was still undrinkable, so left. I wondered why shop was empty

This lovely building is on a corner, so gets busy. There are a few seats inside and turnover is quick. Service is quick and efficient too The food and coffee is all you exect from Costa.

Great choice of coffees,excellent toasted tea cake,staff very friendly and service is with a smile which great on a busy day.

Hemos visitado Stratford muchas veces en el pasado y siempre nos dirigimos a Costa Coffee para una parada rápida para almorzar.El lunes no estaba demasiado ocupado, así que conseguí un asiento sin hacer cola.El personal aquí es amable y eficiente, la tienda se mantiene limpia y ordenada. Los sándwiches tostados y una buena taza de café son una excelente parada para almorzar.Sin duda la próxima vez que visite Stratford lo llamaremos en Costa.

It gets so boring having a coffee but no cake as no vegan options available... one pre-packed flapjack and that’s your lot... Come on Costa, you’re missing out and so are we!

During a day trip to stratford we stopped off at the costa in town. The outside of the building looks really nice and old which fitted in with the towns design. It is quite small inside and we had to wait for a table, the food/drink was good. However i wouldnt recommend using the toilet facilities. There is one unisex toilet and lets say i had to clean the toilet seat and rim before i could use it. Not at all hygeine friendly. This was the only down side but something to bare in mind,

We enjoyed having breakfast here. Sort of the equivalent of stateside Starbucks, but better pastries.

Coffee was good, but we were extremely happy with the friendly service. although it was crowded, one of the staff called Morgan recommended the columbian cooffee. He even came to ask if we were satisfied afterwards(which we were!). a pleasent place to relax after the hectic tourist sites of Stratford-upon-Avon.

The food and drink was fine. It is located in the town centre at the junction of Bridge Street and Henley Street.

Costa Stratford must have one of the nicest buildings to house a coffee shop in the whole of the UK!! Positioned nice and central,this building just shouts character at you!....the coffee ain't bad either!

Very pleasant coffee stop here for myself and my husband. Tables were clean and queues were keot to a minimum. Staff were friendly and helpful and the selection of drinks and food was perfect. Good position for people watching in a lovely part of town.

A standard Costa franchise and nothing special about it. Part time staff of a could not care that much basis, better locally run cafe shops around the town.

Good service and excellent hot chocolate. Had run out of my fav muffin but was offered loads of choices. So thumbs up. Bit busy but that shows they know their stuff.

medium sized Costa with seating for around forty people, usual Costa features and offerings so a safe bet for Costa fans. Coffees were all great and toilets clean and functional.

went for a quick coffee whilst out shopping and was really disappointed. the tables all had used drinks/food on them and the staff just walked past,the people around us and myself carried the dirty stuff back to the counter,even this did not do the trick,the manager needs to get a grip!

Walked in to get a coffee and saw a young male putting on deodorant under his arms ..chest ..down the front of his pants . Came out and asked me what I wanted .. no thanks ..asked him to wash his hands ..he did not ... sarcastically waved me bye bye when I said I was not staying ...disgusting behaviour from the two males on that Sunday morning ...will certainly not return

Disgusting behaviour from 2 members of staff... both male. I placed my order with the one guy saying "yes what do you want.!" No manners but then he continued to talk to his colleagues laughing loudly when serving me but then sneezed on his hand wiping his hands down the front of him... at this point I said " excuse me but could I not have anything could I just have my money refunded... the guy still laughing asked why? After some confrontation with him I asked to speak to the manager about my experience then when she eventually spoke to me her expression was as if she couldn't be bothered. She thought I had over reacted with a member of her team.

With Costa Coffee you know what you are likely to get.....

Always up to the usual standards of the Costa name. The coffee freshly prepared and to our individual requirements (latte for the husband, Americano for me, decaffeinated and flat white for our friends). We were even lucky enough to snag a free mini pain au chocolate to accompany it. Service was a little slow but it was very busy. Sitting outside watching the world go by, listening to the buskers opposite, a perfect way to while away some time!

Lovely Costa in the centre of the town which is a great place for a break after a day of shopping or exploring the town.

I was served very quickly despite the long line of people waiting. The toasted sandwich was good and my americano coffee with hot milk excellent. I always use this coffee shop when visiting Westfields.

Very disappointed with the classic Lemonade It is full of unnecessary ice and the actual expensive liquid which I intended to drink therefore the reason I paid £2.90 lasted all of 3 minutes as the cup was only a quarter full, therefore I do not recommend this drink!

The coffee was up to Costas usual standards. But on the day they only had paper cups which I don't like unless I am ordering a takeaway coffe. I presume their dishwasher must have broken down.

Just wanted an after dinner coffee and this was perfect. It was sweltering outside so the airco inside was a welcome bonus.

Four of us called for some quick coffees on Saturday morning, mid-July .My wife & I had flat whites whilst the others had cappuccinos .Tasted good but all 4 drinks were really not hot enough .Some very friendly members of staff were bringing round free sample frostinos .I sampled a caramel latte one which was delicious !
