Visited with some friends for lunch. Initially drove into the car park and we thought it was closed. There was no one around and no cars in the car park. We went at 2pm on a Thursday. We went inside and there was no on inside. It looked closed. A lady told us to pick a table and gave us some menus. There was a nice menu and we all ordered burgers and a coke for £16 which wasn’t too bad. We were the only people in the pub from start to finish so not much atmosphere but staff were nice enough and food was lovely.

Arrived by canal boat around 6.30 bank Holiday Sunday hoping for a good meal for the 5 of us. Went in and was told they'd stopped serving food at five. Picnic tables in car park so we ordered a food delivery via Just Eat. At 8 o'clock-before food arrived-the inn was closed,. Not impressed.

We’d cycled 30km along the canal & saw this pub and thought great!. Ordered a couple of beers and two chicken salads. 50 mins later nothing… we watched as a number of deep fat fried meals were paraded past us, but it wasn’t that busy so wondered why it was taking so long. Having gnawed off our fingers to stave off the hunger, we asked about our meals - not even started & so we were simply given our money back & left. The kitchen staff are plainly bone idle and prefer to fry the bejesus out of food rather than tackle the complexity of a chicken salad. Felt sorry for the waitress who looked like this happened a lot too. Needless to say, won’t be rushing back there again….

Called in on the off chance for a spot of early lunch. Firstly, the staff were very accommodating. Ordered two of the pork and chive sausage ,chips, two eggs and baked beans. Food was piping hot with two beautifully runny eggs, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside chips, lovely baked beans and three huge pork and chive sausages which were delightful ! My dad's gammon was enjoyed just as much as our meals ! The price for all three meals and drinks was very reasonable. The only disappointment is this place is 65 miles from home ,and not on our doorstep ! Good old fashioned pub grub, nicely done!

Visited here as we were going on a barging holiday from the adjacently located barge company. The pub is a traditional styled country pub and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The food portions were ample and of the traditional pub grub type. Service was good and the food was tasty enough and quite reasonably priced. Nothing negative about the place and if you want decent pub grub then The Navigation Inn is as good as any place to eat. There is a choice of eating inside or if the weather is pleasant enough there is a beer garden overlooking the adjacent canal.

Lunchtime on Wednesday, not very busy but we had booked so would not have been a problem anyway. Friendly efficient staff. Excellent covid arrangements. Ate inside but canal side looked very inviting. Good range of bar menu - something for everyone. We will certainly visit again especially if they can lay on the sunshine we enjoyed today. No problems with parking. Post lunch meander along the canal bank rounded off a very pleasant lunch.

We ate here a couple fo times and sat outside at the socially distanced tables. Having had a bad experience at another restaurant since lockdown was eased, it seems the Navigation has thought of what they need to do to make things works for them. We ordered at the bar and our food arrived really quickly despite the restuarant indoors being quite busy. The staff were very attentive, wore face masks even though they were serving outdoors and asked us if we had everything we needed. The portion sizes were better than some I have been too and we got actual plates and proper cutlery rather than disposable stuff which we had received elsewhere. The food was basic but it was reasonably priced, so had no cause for concern. I would visit here again if I was in the area.

Popped in on way home from Stratford on the hottest day of the year. Lovely and cool inside. Decided to sit outside in shade. They put water out for dogs. Had two Diet Pepsi - half’s and not in bottle - to be charged £4.40. Won’t be going again at that price dread to think what an alcoholic drink would be. Shame as it’s a lovely pub

My first visit here, nicely decorated and very friendly staff, served by Emily. Comfy seating, good selection of drinks and cakes. Nice views of the River Avon.

This is now the Woodyard café and is typical of most NT cafés. The sponge cake was complete so you'd think it would be fresh and moist but was a bit dry. Both the cakes were overpriced. The service wa
