Sack the girls and the guy on tonights shift 11/8/24 19:30pm. Absolutely no urgency to serve a huge queue. 2 people had actually ordered before me and they got their food out of the oven and left it on the side ready for salad. The guy disappeared and the other girl disappeared. I could see her just pottering in the back. The girl who was on the checkout just stood there as if its not her job to do salad and the guys in front of me just watched their food go cold and they left the queue annoyed. No one bothered to come serve me and so I left. They cannot be bothered to be there so please sack them. Waste of space and not only bad for business but costing you money having to throw half made food away.

Un pub antiguo tan maravilloso, el personal es fantástico! ! ! Lindsey y Emma hicieron todo lo posible para darnos la bienvenida, era mi fin de semana de cumpleaños, aparecimos el viernes y charlamos con las chicas, a nuestra llegada nuevamente el sábado para ver una banda que me recibió con un globo y un prosecco así como los pavos reales tejanos cantando feliz cumpleaños. Pasamos una noche increíble, los lugareños son muy amables y el lugar estaba a tope, no podemos esperar para volver a visitarlo.

We have been regulars for a while now Unfortunately that's going to change We ordered tonight 2 hours we waited we then called and didn't get through for another 10 to 20 minutes My burger bun was stale My partners pizza was hard and cold And the "chocoholic donut" was far from that it was a sad little donut with the tiniest bit of chocolate sauce on not to mention also hard in parts In the past orders have been so wrong that food was inedible including allergens I've specified having The only reason there is one star is one I can't do any less and two the owner is the nicest person out there it's just ashame his team as severely let him down tonight

Fui hoy con mi nieta. Phoebe era nuestra camarera. Muy agradable, educado y atento. El chef era Tristán y la comida era deliciosa. Lo pasamos muy bien, gracias.

Amazing place for takeaway. Food is always delicious, hot when it arrives and generous portions. Staff are friendly and always helpful with any issues if they arise. We use them as our only takeaway now as they are the best in Stratford. The delivery guy is amazing as well.. Always friendly and polite so thank you very much. Sorry don't know your name lol

Staying over in the hotel for one night we chose to eat here. The menu is limited and pricey. Whilst staff were friendly they were disorganised, and lacked in ability. Our food took slightly longer than liked to arrive and having ordered a steak and pork chop, the fries and thick cut chips were on the wrong plates. the salad as described on the menu, was thrown on the plate, and the apple puree nearly non existent. Also no onion rings were present as per menu. Being hungry it was edible but barely average food not worthy of the price. Moving to dessert we chose 2 scops if ice cream, chocolate and cotted cream and a lemon treacle tart with clotted cream ice cream. It gets interesting, the ice cream with the tart was clotted cream, however the two scoops chocolate and vanilla. Upon questioning, they removed my bowl but soon returned to say the near white ice-cream was indeed clotted cream, to which I disagreed pointing out the other dessert! My bowl was once again removed then returned with the news that there was no clotted cream ice-cream despite my husbamd spooning it into his mouth. At this pont I just asked them to take the ice-cream away and remove the charge. My lasting memory and advise to all is go out to eat, food Is mediocre, staff lack training and no sign of a manager.

On a day trip to Stratford upon Avon and after a trip on the sightseeing open top bus and going back to the riverside coach park called in for a coffee and a muffin before returning home and enjoyed the coffee and muffin very much

Organizamos un almuerzo dominical para la familia para celebrar el 90 cumpleaños de mamá. El equipo fue muy servicial en la planificación del menú y lo hizo una ocasión muy especial. Muchas gracias a Phil el chef que atendió tan bien a los veganos en la fiesta, realmente lo hizo especial. Todo el mundo realmente disfrutó de la comida y fue muy bueno ¿qué más se puede pedir!

Coffee machine filthy yet still being used. No food available only cake and drinks. Very disappointed

Absolutely awful service!!!! Do not recommend using Banaras if you want a decent curry. Have used this establishment for over 4 years when it was known as Taj, as regular customers we didn’t question trying the new ownership. Ordered a takeaway over the phone and the man on the phone hardly spoke a word of English, which wouldn’t have been a problem if he was polite. We’re patient people & We repeated the order about 10 times and checked he’d got it correct in the end. After 2 & a half hours of waiting for the food to be delivered we rang and asked how long it would be, it took another half an hour to arrive. When it arrived it was a completely different order! We phoned straight away to be greeted with the same person who couldn’t understand what we were saying, kept trying to get us to order more food (and pay for it) he couldn’t understand at all that the food we had paid for isn’t here and it’s the wrong order! We had to speak to the delivery driver in the end to translate & we asked for a refund. The manager then got involved and said give me my food back then… which we gladly did because it wasn’t the food we ordered! Shock to find 5 days later still no refund! Had to go in tonight to request the refund in person which they still argued!!! Very disappointed, loyal customers now lost and now using a different restaurant. Highly suggest getting someone to answer the phone with a strong knowledge of the English language & customer service skills.

Best place to go if you are on the go and hungry I would recommend to with family or friends and the price of the food is cheater food is amazing and the food size is massive

Staff go through the motions (although no one checked our meal was ok) but no more. Chicken a bit dry and the chips tasted stale. Garlic bread good though. Very quiet.

They can’t even get a simple order right, missing items had to wait ages so rest of food was cold. Manager was female and very very rude lad at previous window also rude. Customer services???? They have none

Absolutely shocking food. Texture of food was undercooked and therefore I wouldnt eat. Will never be ordering from here again.
