Absolute clart on. Went in for breakfast and waited 20 minutes from putting in the order to getting the food. Several staff were stood around watching orders where the food had already been cooked, whilst the staff member doing drinks seemed to be on top of things, except it meant my cappuccino sat there for the full 20 minutes, meaning it was both lukewarm and froth free. The wrap looked like it had been put together by a dyspraxic five year old and fell apart as soon as it came out of the box.

We rarely go to this restaurant even though it is 2 minutes away from us, as each time we had visited they had failed to ensure that the food was hot enough and satisfactory. Normally my wife and I go and order the same items, as it reduces the chances of cold food. On our last visit we ordered 2 double cheeseburger and fries. Not only were the burghers cold, but they looked as if they had been thrown on the floor, and looked disgusting. Presumably as the drive through was really busy they thought that they could throw the burgher together and when the customer saw the mess a when home, would think that the mess was caused by the journey. Do the staff not understand that customers served cold food may not return again, and when that food has to be replaced it increases costs.

They can never be bothered to clean their McFlurry machine, so you can’t get an ice cream from this location. No not recommend this franchise.

Absolutely awful. As part of the order we requested 2 'burgers'. They were certainly 'deconstructed '. Also ordered a Mcflurry. I live 5 minutes from site and it was like water by the time I got home. As regular customers we are fed up with the appalling food provided. Often not even the correct order. Shocking food for the price.

No milkshakes for days on end! Multi billion pound company and can’t fix a milkshake machine in a timely fashion! My mom has Parkinson’s and loves a milkshake. Will not return again.

This venue is 5 mins down the road so we go here maybe once a fortnight. Every single time we’ve been (mainly for breakfast) it’s been a ridiculous wait time (understandable when the drive thru and restaurant are packed, obviously) and the orders are wrong 99% of the time. It’s just an overall infuriating experience 100% of the time. They either completely miss items or give you the wrong thing. The waiting times are an absolute joke even when it’s quiet and they’ll pop you into a parked order bay for 20+ minutes with 3 people in the drive thru and minimal customers in store or at the till. I’ve honestly never felt so annoyed going to any food venue in my life. It’s got to the point where we would rather drive to Stratford and use their venue. I’ve considered writing this review multiple times but have resisted as I work in a restaurant myself and understand that there can be complications in service, however, this absolutely takes the cake. This has been their level of service for at least the last 6 months and we’ve finally had enough! I don’t like to believe the fault lies in the young adults/teenage employees, it (generally) is the cause of poor management and lack of training by said management, but it’s these young people that bare the brunt of unhappy customers and are put into situations that they quiet clearly aren’t trained for or expected (as they shouldn’t!) to handle. You would think there would be changes after a venue receives this poor of a reputation (ask literally anyone from Alcester what they think of the place) however it’s clear there hasn’t been. We put it down to understaffing initially, however it’s quiet clearly a competency issue. Honestly wouldn’t waste your time - take the extra 15 mins that you’d have spent sitting in a parked order bay and drive to Stratford instead!

Called in on 18/12/22 for a takeaway on the way home, after assurances that our order was complete, at home we realised it wasn’t. I drove back in the snow & rain, 16 miles round trip, missing the World Cup final with my son, to be given the missing item, after a wait, and was told if I wanted any compensation, to “see the web site”, as the restaurant staff couldn’t do anything. Disgraceful service, and not the first time we’ve had an incomplete order.

Absolutely stupid!!! Can’t get the simplest things right and refused point blank to refund food even though I had to travel back to get the food again as they got it wrong

We ordered via the app for 3 milkshakes, we waited for the order to come, after 25 minutes we went to the drive thru to find out why we haven't had our order, and your colleague asked the manager who then told us that our order can't be completed because they've turned the milkshake machine off for cleaning. So wasted our time. This isn't the first time this franchise has not been up-to standards. Your app allows you to disable out of order products and sometimes you have to wait ages for an order. Once they had to turn off the waiting screen because it was too busy and short staffed. Considering Redditch's main McDonalds is being refurbished, you'd expect the next nearest one would be in good order. Not happy with this franchise and he owns loads in our area.

Rude ignorant young lady on window giving out drinks, hot chocolate like water went back and complained told me I was telling her how to do her job. She was also drinking a beverage herself. Bad customer service no wonder there was along queue! Sunday 15.15 hours

My bill was for £11.18 I handed a £20 note over with £1.18 change. I was given £9.99 back with a smug look off the staff member (about 18 yrs old ) saying i was 1p short !! unbelievable he didnt say you are short of 1p . This was at 3.30 in the afternoon . I couldnt be bothered to discuss his actions. The meal was then missing a burger in the Big mac and the Cheese sharebox had no dips and none were offered at the point of collection!

Went to the drive through on Saturday 24 Sept. This is certainly not fast food, only one of the lanes seemed to be moving. Eventually go to the order point only to be told that they had run out of Big Macs. So they can’t even supply their signature burger. So had to order a large quarter pounder meal instead. More delays getting through to payment and finally collection. Then to cap it all off opened the bag when I got home to find that they had given me a medium not large meal. But as they had not put the receipt in the bad I don’t know what I was charged for.

Quite surprised to see this McDonald’s not rated very highly. I pop in now and again and never had an issue and always clean and tidy

We arrived after 21:00 no queues no drive throughs staff shouting fat fryer alarms going off all the bins opposite the server were overflowing as were the tables and floors. We cleared our table listening to the staff two were sat behind us on a break and then walked through the restaurant past all the full tables of crap and disappeared back behind the counter to join in the merry banter and alarms.

As we were travelling around we passed this restaurant and pulled in very clean and friendly staff although a bit slow waiting for the food but ok

I used this McDonald's as I was on business in Alcester. Food was ok and served very quicklyand efficiently, but I felt that the staff weren't that interested? What's wrong with wearing a smile? Especially in a front line service such as McDonald's?

I always use the Alcester McDonalds. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is nice and hot. They only one time I had to wait for my order, the lovely team gave the children some free fries. Keep up the good work...

We were staying at the Travelodge next door and nipped across at tea time. It was fairly busy and so a little wait for the food. When it came it was hot and tasty, it was fine for us.

Stopped by after coming home from a trip to Stratford to have a quick bite. About as good as all the other McDonalds, but this time the staff really couldn’t be bothered! Oh well!

Served quickly, accurately and the food was hot. Bright and nice enough to sit in. Toilets and restaurant mainly clean but we couldn't put our rubbish in the bins because they were full. Though one of the staff was emptying the bins by the time we were leaving.

Losing all hope with this place. No milkshakes again at 9pm and missing food items. On my return to collect missing items still some were left out. Shame because what we did eventually get was well cooked and hot.

Called in at 13:00 on our way home - extremely busy but actually that was fine. We order table service, sat outside, food arrived in 10 minutes. I feel that wait time was fine given the 1000s of visitors over the day/ weekend. The staff were really friendly, spoke to Jenny (employee of the month) was very up beat despite being so busy - she ever found time to top up the dog water bowls. On a very busy Saturday lunchtime we got two very nice burgers from the Signature range to eat-in and were impressed by the high standards of service. Cleaning and clearing was being done none-stop. Balloons distributed to tables with children. We (and other people around us) were asked if our meals were OK - which they all were!! Overall it was a very pleasant way to split our journey between Bristol and Nottingham.

Every time we have been it appears to be quite quiet except the drive through which is still fast enough . The location is good . The staff are friendly . It appears a lot cleaner than most the other places we've been . My son and his friends like it :)

This is a regular stopping off point for me being halfway between work and home. I've read some of the negative reviews below and I feel it is time to try and re-balance the argument. No matter what time of the day or night I have popped in here I have always found the staff cheerful, friendly and engaging. The restaurant itself is clean and bright and the cleanliness second to none. The food is - well - what you'd expect. I concede that sometimes there is a little bit of a wait but I think that is down to the new method of ordering (and I would question the rationale behind this system, does it really improve the overall experience?). Having said that, it seems to have freed up some of the staff, who would presumably be behind the counter, to mingle and interact with the customers on the floor, which works very well indeed and has to be a good thing. Yes, I know it is a McDonald's but it's a good one. I will be returning often.

We arrived about 2330 hours. Not many customers and many staff. Order choices of either by machine or at the counter. Service quite slow considering time of night. Restaurant very modern and clean. Just a typical fast food outlet.

Like any mcdonalds the food is the standard quality. It is always very clean and tidy and the staff are well mannered.

I have half a mind to sue under the trade description act for calling this 'fast' food. I know that Macdonalds workers don't tend to be the fastest people in the world but these must be some of the slowest. I was the only person waiting for food but it still took the best part of 15-20 minutes to get my food. I would have at least had my drink to keep me going during the wait if only she hadn't put it out of my reach on the other side of the counter. From where I was stood I could see right into the kitchen and it looked filthy; unacceptable when you consider how many members of staff were just standing around with time to argue about who's job it was to clean up the huge pool of oil on the floor near the fryers.

Nearly 35 year old student (me!) talking to server about order and his face and surprised tone at me being a student was incredibly funny, bless him, he was mortified but it was comical and reminded me that they guys and girls that work there are human.Fast service as expected, and the visit was probably enhanced by the beautiful weather that day meaning for the first time this year I could eat outside.There's not a lot to say about the food that we don't already know but the restaurant itself was clean, and being cleaned when I was there, toilets fresh and a pleasant visit overall. Had my fill of dirty big mac and was happily on my way.

McD have introduced their latest 'serve by a number' system and (I'm not sure whether this is connected) the burgers are invariably cold - yuck!This isnt a problem in other McDonalds, just Alcester.

Very convenient location on evesham to Alcester / stratford road.Modern with ordering stations or in person. Spacious and nice clean toilets.Would definitely stop by this McDonald's. Much better than evesham branch.

Visited on 01/10 /16. Ordered two burger meals to take away. When opened them in the car park one minute later both burgers cold and chips rubbery and cold.!Took them back and complained . Girl who served us was so unhelpful and really could not be bothered. Replaced our burgers which as we were running late had to o eat on while driving . Well if I thought the first burger was bad this one was discusting. ! It was so dry and hard I really do think because I complained I really do dread to think where they got this burger from it actually looked about a week old . VILE .

on a recent family trip from the east midlands to south wales we stopped at these services for breakfast and then on the return trip for tea. the site was nice and clean and bright. the food was good and the wait not too long so that it still felt like fast food.toilets are good with the disco music playing

Went in to order for four of us, i expected a bit of a wait but by the time we waited for ages the fries were all cold and the milkshakes had melted a bit. It's kept very clean though, i noticed someone clearing tables quite quickly and re stocking straws and sauces.

One of the better McD's, clean, modern and fast service, situated a dual carriageway but you don't go to McDonalds for the view!!

Great parking, love the new ordering system, I use this restaurant instead of the Evesham one, which is full of teenaged on their phones,usually text each other.Alcester restaurant is always clean and litter free, will always use this one.

I ordered my meal at the drive through at 05.50 today and sat and waited until I sounded my horn at 06.02 .I got my order at 06.03 and it was luke warm .So much for fast food .

I often travel this road where McDonalds is situated and over a period of time I stopped going due to the cleanliness of the place. As I was traveling with a colleague back from a meeting he asked if he could stop off to have something to eat.To our surprise we were greeted by a very friendly woman called Michelle who was very polite and curtious not only to us but also to the travelers behind us. One of the main things that came to our attention was the fact that this outlet seemed to have changed somewhat and that the cleanliness of where we were sat for our meal was excellent.My colleague said that he needed to use the restroom before we left and his comment to me was that he had never been in such a clean restroom in any of the McDonalds chain. We also noticed that during our stay there we noticed how efficient Michelle was and the speed that she managed to clear the tables. This was somewhat off a shock as on previous visits before I stopped going it was difficult to find a clean table to sit at.

Food was to the normal McDonald's standards, however the restaurant itself had the air conditioning set too low. It was freezing (it was cold and raining outside) and people were eating still wearing their coats. As a result the food was going cold before you cold eat it. Very disappointing. Also noted that many of the menu items on the electronic order board were marked as not available. Not sure if this was due to the promotions ending or supply chain problems.

A McDonalds is a McDonalds and this one is right on our doorstep. No more travelling around trying to find food for the kids. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

Stopped at the drive through for a coffee. In the time it's taken me to open the tripadvisor app on my phone and write this review I still haven't had my coffee. In fact if you look for a red van it's me.

As McDonalds go this is a good one. I have been here a few times primarily to use the Wifi having recently moved house. The place has always been clean and the staff very welcoming. A good place to take a break on the A46.

Oh dear, this place started off so well. Keep getting incorrect orders of paying for something and getting something different (i.e Dbl sos & egg & getting single / Hot chocolate get Choc Milkshake) & then it seems you are inconveniencing them if you ask for it to be put right. Some of the staff are lovely but others need lessons in customer service.
