The best restaurants in Alcester Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

Lunch visit on Mother’s Day. Two beef lasagnes with chips and salad. Lovely, hot, beefy, cheesy lasagne with a crisp and fresh salad and crispy chips with fluffy insides. We sat in the large room but there is plenty of seating. The bar stewardess/waitress is a sight to behold. She does so much and manages to serve drinks, take orders and deliver orders. A great asset to the pub. The food here is really wonderful with very large portions. The tables, crockery and cutlery are clean. We have never had a bad meal here and I’d strongly urge people to visit. It’s very suitable for families, couples and at lunch time you can almost always get a table. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the lasagne but be careful as it’s piping hot. It’s easy to walk past the pub and miss what is inside. There is a comfortable seating area of you don’t want to eat. Had Kebab meat and chips and my mate had sausage and chips it went through us both like a porsche and bowels exploded within 20 mins of eating wouldn't reccomend

Just had the most wonderful evening with friends for my 60th birthday. There were 16 of us...Andrew took such good care of us..very professional & attentive. Superb food all brought out together.. excellent quality!! A massive thank you. Everyone was impressed 👏

Came with a friend. Waited moments for a free table ( there are many inside & out) chose our food went to the till to order. I had a goats cheese salad which was delicious. Service was very good and all staff seemed very happy. The gift shop has some lovely gifts & cards too. Didn’t venture into the farm shop/ butchers / veg shop.

Was looking for somewhere for tea and cake whilst staying away and Lounge at 26 came up as a place to go. Really nice tea shop in Alcester, with a good range of cakes and teas / coffees Had the passion fruit cake which was moist and really tasty. Will definitely be back.

Took a punt and tried as Chinese takeaways are more miss than hit. This was great, for me, I was thinking loads of fresh veg along with the meat which makes it a winner. Not all gloopy and beige like many are. Will defo use again.

Great pub, good food, good beers available. Friendly and accommodating service. Were happy to work out the menu to cater for my parties uncommon food allergies with no fuss.

Searched for a local restaurant as not local and this restaurant popped up. Fantastic service and food, cannot recommend more highly, vegetarian jalfrazi one of best i had and nann bread best I've had.

Think it's shut. Couldn't find it. Resulted in going jn the bakery for a sandwich and a sausage roll instead. Alcester is a nice little stop off but Henley was busier.

I fear for this place. It has a lovely bee garden and the staff are friendly. Traditional beers and ciders , crisps and even some home made sandwiches. Pubs are closing in their hundreds. I really hope they can keep going.

Good location with a good sized car park. Perfectly ok room However, a very peculiar ‘herbal plant’ smell through the corridors….

Read some rough reviews of this chippy so I have to say on this freezing evening the fish and chips were plentiful and delicious.
