Quiet evening out, on a quiet Thursday evening not been for a while, on arrival 2 items explained not on the menu lovely prompt service food delicious can't falt, a little more than we would normally pay for an evening out but well worth the price. A big thank you Roberta for the service. *****

We came here as it had been highly recommended. Nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly but the restaurant was understaffed. Portion sizes for main course were ok. The main course food and garlic bread completely lacked any flavour and were very bland. The person who had a desert said it tasted good but the portion size was small. Could do with more vegetarian options on menu.

Arranged for the restaurant to call me the following day to give me there VAT number as the restaurant are charging customers VAT without supplying a VAT receipt. No call from them surprisingly. After spending £400 here I asked for a Vat receipt. The staff in the restaurant didn't know what a vat number was. They confirmed I'd been charged vat and they was vat registered but don't give vat receipts They called the manager who was just as evasive and knew nothing. The owner called me 5 minutes after I'd left saying they was vat registered but don't have to give me a vat receipt as it's food . Clearly hasn't got a clue. Agreed to call me the next day but didn't bother.

Was eating dinner as part of a large group on a Saturday evening.The restaurant is beautiful.The service was good although I think needed extra staff that night as service was a little slow at times… some had finished their starters before all were given out. The white bait was a bit too crispy. Otherwise,the main meal of risotto was delicious and everyone’s choice was too. Look forward to eating here again. Enjoyed the night.

Long wait. No menu's when seated. Staff dropping knife and plate onto myself and food over dress. Food burnt and pasta under cooked. Ordered drinks and waited 40 mins for drinks. Meal was booked at 19.30 did not get starters till 21.00. List goes on

I was recommended to this restaurant for my husbands birthday meal. It was our first time here. The restaurant had a quirky feel to it when we walked in. The male server wasn’t overly helpful and didn’t really make us feel welcome? The restaurant was quiet it was a Tuesday evening. Both of us had starters and main courses. I had duck for my main which was tough so I had to ask them to take the meat off the bone. Within 24 hours I was having sickness and diarrhoea. This was from the duck. Which was either cooked from frozen or uncooked? I have been so poorly with gastroenteritis and now have gastritis. We will not be returning.

Had the most beautiful meal of all time. I must say I love Italian food but this was beyond all expectations. The good was amazing, the setting is stunning, the ambiance fabulous and the service was beyond expectations. I cannot recommend this restaurant high enough and am so looking guessed to returning. This is the place to tell all your friends about. A hidden gem .

Had a wonderful time at Amore in Alcester. The food was amazing. My wife said her fillet steak was the best she's ever eaten. Couldn't fault any aspect of the experience. Staff were great - efficient service and really friendly. Booked for a major birthday event as a result. Highly recommended.

I wanted to take my wife and youngest daughter out for an impromptu lunch to celebrate Coronation day and we travelled to a restaurant we had not visited or heard of before. I can think of few occasions where you cannot find some slight fault in something however I am delighted to report that our experience celebrating our Coronation day lunch at this wonderful restaurant is one such a moment. The staff were attentive, polite, the atmosphere welcoming and the food was beautiful. It also has to be said that the portions were more than generous representing wonderful value for money and you love your desserts, I would have to say the tiramisu was absolutely gorgeous. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough and we will most certainly be travelling this way again very soon.. GS West Midlands

Found this place on the web and upon arrival was really pleased by the pleasant surroundings and atmosphere. Located in a brick arch basement the restaurant provides a cosey relaxed feel and the service is excellent. Food is delicious and great value. Highly recommended
