Great staff, friendly efficient service, lovely food, well presented, with the chef allowing us to slightly change the menu, [not adding chilli to the pasta], clean and well presented place.

We had a fantastic night back in early August at Ask Italian Stratford Upon Avon. The manager Tony served us all night. He had a great sense of humour. The food was absolutely delicious (thank you Chef). We will be back for more 😍

Always a joy to dine at Ask in Stratford-upon-Avon! The staff are genuinely welcoming and right on point with their service. Food and drink are consistently well prepared and delicious. I had an amazing experience at Ask Italian - Stratford on 22nd August 2024! Tony, one of the staff members, was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I booked a table for my partner and myself for tuesday evening at 19:30 hrs, only to find on arrival that the table had been given to other people! After a weak apology by a member of staff, we left. We won't be going back again, either. No customer care, just greed for business.

It was the best meal I ever had at ask. Our waiter-Tony-was one of the nicest and kind people I had ever met. It was my daughter's birthday and he even put a candle in her ice cream and sang a warm hearted happy birthday to her. I will definitely come here again...thanks to ask and tony!

We have visited the restaurant with our quite anxious 8 year old grandson. He and ourselves were made to feel very welcome. We all loved the delicious food, the takeaway boxed brownie didn’t make it home as the grandson found it too irresistible. Was sorry to have not been able to pick up a bag as none left. All in all though a great experience 5*****

We like it here, the atmosphere is great, even when it's quiet. Food is good but not amazing. The mozzarella and tomato side dish really needs better quality tomatoes! Really friendly service.

We had lunch at the restaurant in Bell Court in Stratford upon Avon with our grandsons on Monday. The food was delicious, and it was great value for money. Our table service was excellent, and we loved the little glass of raspberry lemonade we were given as a free treat as soon as we sat down. We’ll definitely be going back.

1st time visiting Ask Italian, it was for my birthday, the food was amazing and came out quickly and hot, we 1st had Adrienne who took our drink order, we found her to be rude and abrupt, luckily she didn’t serve us again, we then had Gracie who was absolutely lovely and very friendly and helpful, she is a credit to your restaurant, we will definitely be back

We arrived about 6.50pm without a booking and were told that,if we had not booked, there were no free tables. We walked outside and I went on the website and quite easily booked a table for 5 minutes later, we walked back in and were greeted by the same waitress and I told her we had now booked, we were then seated. Seemed strange. Other than that the food was lovely

Warning-tip culture venue.. Our group of four couples recently dined at Ask Italian in Bell Court, Stratford-upon-Avon, and had a generally delightful evening. The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy, making it a perfect spot for our small gathering. The food was good, service was excellent throughout the meal. Our server was attentive, friendly, and managed our small group with ease. Drinks were refilled promptly, and our courses were timed perfectly. The staff’s professionalism and warmth truly enhanced our dining experience. However, one aspect did leave us all somewhat annoyed. The automatic addition of a service charge to our bill felt presumptuous. This was only seen by us allafter the meal, and after we paid. We discussed this after leaving and our views we unanimous. While we understand that tipping is a part of dining culture, it would have been more respectful to allow us to decide the amount based on the service we received. Each couple added extra to the total amount on each tab, making it a double tip all around. Being a group, it is understandable to have a service charge, but not to highlight it on the bill. Not one of us saw the automatic 10% tip, and this is why we gave EXTRA to the waiter, who decided to keep quiet.. Ask Italian provides excellent food and great service in a lovely setting, making it ideal for group gatherings. Nevertheless, the management should reconsider their approach to tipping, allowing guests to show their gratitude in their own way and highlighting the added tip on the bill as well as educating the staff to be open about what was added to the bill innthe first place. I hope the staff enjoyed their 15 - 20% tip....yes this is why you get a three star not a 5. FOR THIS REASON, NON OF THESE COUPLES WILL RETURN TO THIS VENUE.

£16.50 is far too much for a chicken escalope with a handful of salad, in my opinion. However, the vibe was pleasant and the staff were swift and friendly.

Not overly impressed. The service wasn't overly bad, but wasn't overly good. My grandson had a tomato dip which he told me was "fizzy". Sure enough, I tried it and it was. Clearly it was well past it's best, but they did replace it immediately. My wife ordered a caesar salad and unfortunately the chicken was going off. She asked me to try it to be sure, and whilst it wasn't rotten, the smell and taste was not that of fresh chicken. Again, it was replaced quickly enough but with the two different dishes causing concern about preparation and storage, I wouldn't eat there again. There was no offer of a reduction of any sort, which I would have at least expected, just as a courtesy. If it had just been the one thing, then it happens, but two instances of different foods being off has to be more than a coincidence in my view.

Jaden was an excellent server and took great care to make sure we had what we needed. He was also very attentive to my food allergies

We were very impressed with the service as soon as we walked in. Rowan was outstanding. The atmosphere, setting and food were all superb. All in all, an excellent experience and would definitely return!

Oh, this is a little gem. Wonderful food and service. I had spaghetti vongole. And a mocktail which was a little sweet. My friend had pasta with a creamy sauce. They also had homemade lemonade, a little weak but still a good drink. And the service was excellent. Well worth a visit, and great decor.

was in the area and has tesco vouchers. never had a poor visit to an Ask before so why not? firstly, there was remnants of the sauce from previous diners on the table and also some food on the long seating and nearby floor. very easy to spot but had been missed somehow. starters - i had cheese fondue which was ok but it was cold in the middle. i stirred it around a bit and it was......ok and king prawns on ciabatta which was enjoyed. mains - carbonara was enjoyed. i had calzone. after my cold in places starter, i was hoping for an improvement. the calzone was burnt. not all over but it did spoil the taste of nearly half of the underside. had soft drinks. so one person was happy and one wasn't. two dishes not up to standard. the uncleanliness was slightly off putting. and the staff were more bothered about their phones than anything else. maybe it was a bad day. many other reviews are good

So on three occasions now I have walked in without a booking, hoping I could just walk in (this has typically been midweek and lunchtime hours so not at all busy!) only to be told they are fully booked (one time the place didn’t even have one table in use) and that they’d have a table in an hour or two. Never bothered to go back. If you don’t want walk ins then you should say so! I’d understand if I was turning up on a Friday or Saturday night but Tuesday (out of holiday time) at like 12:30 isn’t busy! To add to this staff are so rude and roll their eyes at you when they see you waiting.

Tonight me and 4 of my firends dined in at ASK to celebrate a birthday. Entering the restaurant a very comfortable and welcoming environment with a very aesthetically pleasing dining area. Suprisingly it was quite quiet for a Friday night but usually it would be alot busier, but it was still a pleasant atmosphere. The person serving us although I didn't catch their name was very friendly. Although it took a while to order our drinks, the overall service was very efficient afterwards. We ordered a selection of 3 starters to share including the Calamari which I highly recommend. For our mains we had calzone, and other pasta type dishes which where all good quality and delicious. Overall I would love to come back to ASK Italian in Stratford for another wonderful evening out.

Visited Ask Italian in Stratford upon Avon for our wedding anniversary meal. We experienced exceptional customer service from Nicole who went above and beyond to make our evening special. The food was fantastic too!!

Staff really friendly and welcoming. Food was great there's something for everyone on the menu they even adjusted dishes for us adding extra chillies and garlic.

Nice Italian restaurant chain. Been about 3 times since it opened at Bell Court in Stratford-upon-Avon. Mostly sat on the ground floor. The toilets upstairs, where I saw more seating.

Lovely meal, sea food pasta, cheesy garlic bread on the side and a bottle of Morretti... Too full to try the desserts. Waiting staff were chatty and friendly.

Slow service and very disappointing food. The chicken was deep fried, tough, dry and fatty. The potatoes were oily and overcooked, not nice fresh new potatoes. The pasta was bland and beef flavourless. Really disappointing. To top it off we had to wait so long for my sons pudding I gave up and asked for it in a takeaway container as he just got far too tired to wait any longer.

Our waiter Jakub was amazing, super fast and lovely! The little tasters of the raspberry lemonade was a lovely touch to welcome you to the restaurant. My risotto however was slightly undercooked but not too bad! The pizza was lovely and perfectly done! All in all, a good visit

We had a pre-theatre dinner at ask in Stratford upon Avon, it was our first time eating at an ask restaurant, we both really enjoyed the whole experience the waiter was very attractive and helpful the food was excellent and the decor of the restaurant was very nice we go to the RSC regularly and we will be eat at ask from now on.

Food was ok shocking service no one Acknowledge us when we tried to ask for where a part of our food was we received one chips half way through our meal and was nearly finished afterwards they still didn’t bring the other one even when we had finished. no one had even came over to say anything or apologised shocking service staff just stood around doing nothing and leaving one person to do it all won’t be coming to Stratford ask Italian again , also manager was aburt and rude. perfer the Worcester one staff are polite and welcoming. And u except better service for the price you pay !!!

When there earlier today I did enjoy my food but didn’t get everything I ordered I asked about it a few times and they. Said it will be a couple of minutes I never actually received all my food I ordered because I already ate the food I got and there was no point in getting the rest because it should of come with my order I get that it may of been a bit busy but would of been nice to actually get all my food

Went here for Valentine’s Day service was terrible pre ordered set menu. Meals were wrong pudding was burnt after waiting an hour to get them. The table next to us walked out due to waiting so long for food. Loads of staff working but no one really doing much. Won’t be going anytime soon.

We didn't book, just walked in off the street. Staff very friendly, initially we were advised that food could take 1/2 hour to be ready due to being busy, but in the event it was ready in ten minutes. Superb Pollo Milanese and chips x 2, sadly no room left for pudding.

Food and service really okay, mushroom risotto particularly nice. Would you believe this Italian style restaurant had NO olives!

The atmosphere was going great because it was my house, however when I opened my pizza I was incredibly disappointed to see that my happy face pizza had no face. It was just a wonky small pizza with no olives for eyes and no vegetable sticks. For £6 of my British money I expect a happy face on my pizza when it is promised. As a result of this there was no happy faces, not on the pizza and not on my face either, ruined my night.

Booked online last minute, no problem at all. Was on the busier side but seemed to be plenty of staff and everyone was in a good mood. Food was really nice, we normally go to pizza express and were surprised by the range of options. Only issue we ran into was the ordering via mobile rather than a person as it didn't seem to want to work but the waiter happily did it for us on his tablet. 9 year old daughter has asked that we go again when we're next somewhere with an Ask. Arrived to book a table for my wife's birthday tomorrow. Staff completely ignored us waiting at the door. They looked at us but didn't even acknowledge us to say "we will be with you in a minute" totally rude as 1 of the staff walked past us twice. They weren't even busy as lots of tables were empty, now i know why!! Won't be bothering with them ever.
