Pizza undercooked and cold. Told the waitress, who didn’t really care.Asked for it to be reheated. It was taken away and ‘reheated’ but was still cold. Sticky toffee pudding was also barely warm. No apology. No discount.

Decided to try this instead of the larger chains, however wish we had just gone to zizzis. The service was slow, asked for water and only given one glass each- and couldn’t find any staff to ask for more as they hid in the back. I ended up having to drink my own water as couldn’t find a member of staff to ask for a refill or a carafe which other tables were given. After the food was delivered no-one came to check how the food was and when they cleared the plates- there was no question from staff of how it was, and had to tell them the food dry before the staff ran away from the table, there was no real apology and given the starter was barely gone due to how inedible it was- would have expected more than that. Finally had to go to the till to get a bill- after being ignored yet again- as we couldn’t get the staff to bring the bill- even when they had been told we didn’t want anything else. So not only was the service terrible, the food was also awful- got the rosemary garlic bread which was so dry it was inedible and it was left. The mozzarella pizza was flavourless and the baked chicken and mushroom penne was bland and with mushrooms that were so rubbery I had to spit it out.

Our older children being greeted at the entrance at 8.10pm and being advised “just so you know, we close at 9.15, will you have enough time” and when my son answered, “yes, that’s fine” received the response of “are you sure” should have been a red flag .. the kids also mentioned that a couple seated ahead of them weren’t asked any such questions, they were seated in a pleasant manner! … what made the experience even more bizarre was when at 9.05pm, an elderly couple came into the restaurant and were seated pleasantly right next to us! .. I’ve since found that the restaurant actually closes at 9.30pm, as clearly stated on their own website! Once we had joined our children, we decided to stay as we were quite hungry but the service was very frosty and indifferent throughout, the only staff member who seemed remotely engaged was Megan who was great! .. the food was surprisingly quite good apart from the portion indifference between the penne arrabbiata and baked chicken and mushroom penne (the latter was quite small for a main pasta dish) and the pizza picante carne tasted as though it had been made in a rush. The drinks were really good, especially the strawberry lemonade and the passion fruit crush! We very much value service as much as we do the food whenever we dine out and on this occasion, we were quite let down by wildwood staff and their indifferent approach towards customers, appreciate a family of 4 may be a bigger task for the kitchen than a couple of diners but this should never be obvious to any customers at all .. do better wildwood!

We were looking for a place to eat then we stumbled across this italian restaurant. We don't have any reservation today but they let us dine in since there's a space and time available. We really love the service and food. Feels like we're back in one of the restaurants in lake como. Thank you so much!

We had the meals delivered so can’t comment on service and atmosphere. Just commenting on food. It was a good deal with buy one get one free green beans and salad. Liked that the green beans weren’t overcooked and salad was fresh. Spaghetti carbonara had not pancetta or bacon or anything. Just the sauce and pepper. Chicken and mushroom penne was delicious. Chicken burger was so dry with no sauce included. Would order green beans and penne again but not the rest.

Went for a late lunch early tea... Nice laid back atmosphere - rustic design - food was beautiful - rosemary garlic bread to share at the start...top notch the mains were Picante Pizza - outstanding with a nice kick to it...awesome pizza base nice and thin...and the Philly steak sandwich wow the steak was out of this world...certainly recommend and will definitely eat here again.

Honestly, not a bad place to eat. The food under the lunch deal was reasonable, the portions were of good size and the food itself was decent. The staff were accomodating and I have no complaints. 🚨That said, I really hate this Americanist-influence of adding a "discretionary service charge" to my bill and having to ask for it to be removed. It makes no mention of where the charge goes (i.e kitchen staff, waiting staff, head office pockets?) and to be quite frank if I'm going to leave 10% of the bill out of good will you can bet your bottom dollar something had to be amazing. That said, I was going to tip the girl who served us but this left a bad taste and I had it removed and left nothing instead. Head office stop being greedy.🚨

What a lucky find! We were looking for somewhere to have lunch on a hot day in July and came across Wildwood. The lunch menu was excellent value for money. The portions were large and tasty. Service was attentive. Give it a go.

What an amazing place. We had spent the day exploring Stratford Upon Avon and my daughter wanted to take us to the Wildwood restaurant as she has one in Salisbury where she lives. I was in my wheelchair and I noticed a step to get inside, so thought this would be impossible. My daughter went in and seconds later a nice young lady came out with a wheelchair ramp, no fuss, no hassle and in I went. I have to say this was an amazing experience I seldom get even in the 21st century. These young people went out of their way to ensure everything was good. The food was superb, very tasty and well presented. The portions were generous too. They also serve the most sublime orange squash I have ever tasted. The young staff were very atentive and seemed very happy, they were certainly well organised. Thank you so much guys for an outstanding meal and evening.

Been to quite a few Wildwoods now and always love it, great choice of food and mix of amazing pizzas and pastas etc. I think the manager looked after out and she was great!

Instant regret after choosing to dine here. There was a bit of a mold smell to the section we were sat - near the front window, mind you, and but some dark corner. Our starter was forgotten and never arrived. Probably a blessing. The pasta was a disaster -- overcooked to a mush -- and only topped by the lawn clippings that were passed off as a £5 salad. I'm left as bitter as the weedy 'salad' greens.

Recently had supper here while visiting Stratford. Such a beautiful and great restaurant. Great food, fresh, hot. Staff members were very welcoming, nice amd friendly. Highly recommended!

Went for lunch here Sunday, 26th May 2024, and had a disaster of an experience here. They were hopelessly understaffed, and they were extremely stressed out and unpleasant. I would say it's no fault of their own, but that doesn't excuse their rudeness. We were served by a blond waitress that sounded Dutch or something similar and were treated terribley.

I am happy with service of Nerusan. And he is serving nice sweet ice cream with vanilla and deserts delicious.

Unfortunately one dish wasn't what it should have been, had to speak to the waitress who relayed back to the chef and manager could have been better .

Overpriced and not great quality. I had the prawns to start. 5 prawns that were over cooked and lacking flavour for £9. Lacked atmosphere.

So there is no option to put no stars. We went tonight but were waiting to be seated for at least five minutes. Normally this wouldn’t have phased us, but we didn’t even get an acknowledgment to say that we will be with you very shortly. Very disappointing to be honest.

I normally love Wildwood (food is always great!), but I got to say what terrible and rude service received sadly from all but one waitress. Very dissapointing service and especially one waitress was not only rude but also aggressive... terrible service...

Had my sons 21st birthday dinner party at Wildwood last week and we'd do it again. Their pizzas are excellent and everyone really enjoyed the food. Staff are super friendly and courteous and can't do enough for you. You'd be hard pushed to do better than Wildwood as restaurants in Stratford upon Avon go. We recommend the Carbonara Pizza and Philly Cheese Steak Pizza.

Lovely restaurant where we stopped for lunch with friends during a day out in Stratford. The food was good value, served quickly and we were all pleased with our meal. We had a lunchtime special deal, which for a popular tourist destination was a very good price. The staff were all pleasant and friendly, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Stratford.

Great food - it's simple and comforting but it never fails to please. Service very friendly but a bit rushed; maybe because I went pre-theatre and they were keen to get us all to the show on time!

I didn’t realise the importance of booking for a pre-theatre meal! Luckily Wildwood had a slot. Service was great and the tables were nicely spaced (we were in the back room near the kitchen). Almost the entire menu could be adapted to be gluten free. The butternut squash risotto was good. It’s just dropped a star for food because there was absolutely minimum sauce with the spaghetti bolognase, it really frustrates me when restaurants are not generous with something relatively cheap to make l, despite charging a relatively high price.

Had a lovely, relaxed meal here. Good service, food was excellent (particularly the dessert). Music at just the right level - so often it is too loud. Would recommend.

Fantastic. We had the ribeye, both cooked exactly how asked for. Staff were great. Pudding was amazing. The place itself was a really nice spot.

A meal before the theatre. Booked for 5.30. We were sat down immediately (good), but I'm afraid it went downhill from there... 20 minutes passed before our drinks order was to taken. When the drinks arrived, my Jack and Coke was warm despite having ice in it. Very odd. It took a good 5 minutes to cool down. I think the coke had been kept somewhere really warm... Food took forever to arrive, and when it did it was mediocre. The philly cheese steak sandwich was a massive disappointment. Accompanying fries were pale and barely cooked. My wife's sea bass was "okay" (her words). By the time we had finished our main courses we had to run to the theatre despite leaving ourselves 1 and 3/4 hours for eating... This place used to be good but now, dreadful... It cost £75 to add insult... There won't be another occasion... The Opposition (the actual name of the restaurant next door) next door will get our custom...

We had lunch at Wildwood in Stratford-upon-Avon and found our experience very satisfying. The food was good and made for a pleasant start to the day. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to an overall nice experience. While Wildwood ticks all the boxes for a decent meal out, it's a solid choice for anyone in the area.

A nice calamari starter for us both. Then we had pasta and pizza courses. As it was so late we didn't finish with coffees.

Excellent pizza carbonara... unusual but really good, will definitely order it again.. also was well looked after by beth today..happy smiles makes all the difference.. Just one little observation.. need to clean the restaurant, dust on floors along edges,dried old remains of spaghetti..otherwise we will be back..

Great place to eat in the heart of Stratford. Lovely meal and wonderful staff. Family of four inc 8 & 11. Recommended.

Good value lunch time meal. I had butternut squash soup, and a smaller pizza which came with salad. However, not that small and I couldn't eat all of it, although it was very tasty. Staff friendly, service very good. Also, loads of space behind the 'shop front'.

Food was great and the restaurant were extremely helpful in resolving the issue of missing items. The problem was all with Just Eat and nothing to do with the restaurant!

I had the vegetarian calzone which was OK. My wife had the mushroom ravioli with a walnut sauce. It was tasty but the serving was very small. Only 10 pieces, so would be OK as a starter but mean as a main. The front room was OK but all hard, flat surfaces so quite loud with reverberating noise.

Wildwood hosted 20 very hungry young hikers on Saturday night and I felt compelled to write a review because it was by far the easiest and friendliest group meal I've ever organised. Lily in particular went out of her way beforehand with the pre-orders and on the day to help with getting all of us fed and even allowed us to substitute one meal for an entirely meal for a different person when someone dropped out last minute. Lily, Katie and the other staff were also very patient when everyone inevitably forgot what they'd ordered! The food was really good quality and came out quickly, and they allowed us to pay separately which makes my life as organiser so much easier. Everyone kept saying throughout the meal and after how great it had been so I just wanted to pass on my thanks for doing such a great job at hosting us.

Enjoyed the whole experience and I have to especially recommend the seafood linguine, an absolute treat to the taste buds.

This is my favorite place to eat in Stratford-upon-Avon. The menu has something for everyone and it’s well-made food in a lovely atmosphere — my husband and I both find intriguing choices and the staff are kind and helpful. We ate here three times in four days and will be back to do the same!

I have gluten and dairy allergies. Both Stelio’s, our waiter, and Jack, the manager, helped me figure out what I could safely order for dinner considering my allergies. They both were very caring and knowledgeable, ensuring I received a very wonderful and delicious dinner. Their service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend Wildwood Grill!! If I lived in Stratford-upon-Avon, I would come back again and again to this restaurant. (I live in the US).

Great tasting food super fast service and friendly staff

Nice food but service was really very poor. We spent 35 minutes waiting after finishing our meals and so didn't bother with dessert. They then had the cheek to put a 10% service charge on our (four person) table. Won't go again.

We had the 2 course meal and it didn’t disappoint. The service was warm and friendly. The restaurant was spacious and clean.

This was a great find. Great food, all the people in our family loved it and it was not too busy when we went. The staff were also great, if I was being picky I would say it's a little pricey.

Must visit while in Strafrod upon avon. We popped in quite late for dinner at 9ish on a Saturday. We hadn't read the reviews before hand we just saw the lovely food as we passed by. Starters we have the caramiled pizza bread to start. Must have was incredible. Them mains we have the calozone and the peri pasta. Both again very delicious. The peri pasta is spicy so just bare that in mind. Really great spot for dinner.

Gute Auswahl an Gerichten, auch vegane und glutenintolerante Menschen wurden super mit eingebunden. Nette Bedienung, zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Essen war auch gut. Lasagne soll vorzüglich sein, meine Pomodoro haben ebenfalls gemundet. Gerne wieder, vor allem bei den fairen Preisen.

Great food and wonderful service

Having not booked we were pleased to be able to walk in and ask for a table of two. Enjoyed a 2 course meal that was served in a timely manner by friendly professional staff. Nice glass of wine and coffee to finish lovely way to spend our wedding anniversary. Not the cheapest but prices are high for food now wherever you go. Highly recommend, but booking advisable I'd say as many people had to be turned away as tables were filled up quickly.

Visited restaurant pre-theatre last night. We were running late due to traffic but the friendly waiting staff found us a table and no long wait for our meal. We both had the pizza Calabrese with a salad which was fresh and delicious. Pre-dinner olives were tasty and a generous portion. Would like to return when in less of a rush. Staff were accommodating and just what you would hope for in a popular visitor destination. Thank you.

We were in Stratford Upon Avon for the day and were looking for somewhere to have lunch. I thought Wildwood looked nice so we popped in. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The asked as soon as we sat down if anyone had any alergies. We ordered our food and it arrived fairly quickly nice and hot. The food is tasty and fresh. The staff were regularly checking if we needed anything and if everything was ok. If you are in the area I'd definitely recommend a visit.

I ordered at 19.40 and was given an expected time of 20.20 to 20.30. When it was 20.50 I phoned the restaurant and they said it was on its way. It arrived at 21.10 and it was cold. We’ve used Wildwood many times before and they have dropped my favourite dish, Seafood Linguini.

Was going to be a less than 5 star as we booked a collect order on their own website, on arrival order had not been received. As you can imagine, I wasn't happy, but the way this problem was dealt with was outstanding. I didnt catch the ladies name, but straight away, she told us what she would do, how long it would take and what she was doing to sweeten the blow. Once order was being prepared came back twice to update us and get our details so she could follow up on what was an internal IT issue. The lady was spot on with how long order would be, apologised again, food was spot on and the complimentary drinks and sweets were a nice touch, good recovery.

Stopped here for a quick basic lunch. We both chose pasta but my Penne Arrabiata was disgusting. The pasta was overcooked and fell to pieces plus the sauce was just coloured water with a few bits of tomato in it. No way could I pick up the penne without it breaking into pieces and the sauce did not stick to the pasta at all... it looked more like a thin soup. My friend's Carbonara was of similar quality and both dishes were tasteless. Service was slow too. We didn't bother to complain at the time as we just wanted to leave asap. My advice move on and don't waste your time and money here as there are plenty of other restaurants in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Chips we Stine cold & not cooked fresh - clearly been sat ages. Pizza contained olives when it shouldn't have. 1st time using just eat & this restaurant- won't be ordering again from this place. Driver was nice & on time though

We visited as a family of five on a wet August evening. A great find... attentive, friendly staff and quality, flavoursome food. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is very pleasant. The atmosphere is slightly sophisticated, but at the same time simple. The service was perfect and the food was delicious! We liked it so much that we went back the next day to lunch. We had the lasagna, calzone with mushrooms, spinach and cheese, risotto al funghi and arancini for starters. All amazing and tasty dishes. A special thanks to Stelios who was very nice to us during our dinner.

Possibly our favourite eatery in Stratford! Food was excellent with large portions, and service was attentive and prompt. Also, lunch menu is excellent value! The manager (I think) was nice and chatty to us when it quietened down as it was quite busy when we arrived. Nice atmosphere for both lunch and dinner, the air con started to leak by our table due to the hot weather, but they immediately rectified it and apologised. Excellent all round, will definitely visit again. Exceeded my expectations.

Came here to eat with my girlfriend and the atmosphere is great, friendly staff and most importantly great food. I had the burger and my girlfriend the pizza, both were great and would recommend. Not too expensive and fairly priced for the area (:

Me and my boyfriend visited this restaurant back in June on holiday. We booked a table for the evening, upon arrival the woman on front of house just nodded to our table without greeting us or really talking to us at all which we felt came across quite abrupt and rude. If she had just been an inexperienced server it wouldn't have been a big deal and we're very understanding of how difficult the job is (we both work in hospitality/retail) however we believe that she was part of management so I don't think her attitude was up to scratch. One of the forks on our table was also dirty so we had to ask to swap it for another one. We ordered margaritas as our drinks which were nice, the selection of cocktails and the price of the drinks was pretty good, so that is a positive. For our starters we shared bruschetta and arancini which were really tasty and well presented, definitely the best part of our meal. We then had a pizza for our main which was decent, however not amazing to say this is one of the menu options the company really markets itself on. Overall we had a nice time and the starters were great, the other servers seemed friendly too, however the attitude of the manager and the slightly disappointing main means we won't be rushing back.

Made our anniversary celebrations fantastic. Staff were so kind and friendly did everything they could to make it lovely. Our only tiny disappointment was Sea and Mountain pizza had hardly any prawns and don't think they were actually tiger prawns as described. But didn't ruin our experience it was lovely!
