Lovely little gem. Good menu. The steak was delicious, the peppercorn sauce, a cut above. Excellent service from staff. Will be returning. Managed to get a table for two on walk in, however likely you would need to book.

Went past on our boat heading for Froghall, the following day we gave the Hollybush a call to book for dinner. Fabulous food amazing puddings and very friendly staff, who were amazed that we stacked our empty plates 😂 it’s what we do as we know it’s usually appreciated by staff and 3/5 of us have worked in hospitality! Would definitely recommend a visit and will hopefully return at some point in the future!

Visited for a quick lunch. Good service, good selection of real ales and good food with great view from the dining room. We had the steak and onion ciabattas and they were excellent. Not the cheapest place in the area but certainly worth the money. Will definitely call in again.

Ordered loaded nachos, yes they were hot, but there was only the tiniest bit of a horrible squeezey "cheese," so I might as well ordered a bag of warm Doritos. Steak pie filling was sparse and dry, the pastry was tough, and the mash was clearly packet mash. I know it's a chain pub, so I wasn't expecting gourmet food, but the basic quality was lacking. I wouldn't recommend dining here.

Lovely Sunday lunch, piping hot, great selection and good price

Held off on giving a review till I'd been a few times , only had kebabs each time , all different and they were extremely nice . Only reason I've marked them down is purely because they take an absolute lifetime to make them and this is collection not delivery but once you get your food you won't be disappointed , just expect a wait

This place has gone downhill. I used to enjoy eating from here and the food was great, but since the beginning of the year its gone downhill rapidly, the food tastes horrible now and is usually burnt. Won't eat from here again.

Whilst waiting for an hour full of anticipation and excitement thinking of the fryed delights coming our way let me tell you energy was high! Gota give a single star review we usually go to Lenny's and we all know what u're in for there basically a crematory in a lay'by. But unexpectedly this was the polar opposite I think this breakfast was a boil in the bag. Tbf it was good but the hash browns were so bad I nearly took them Lenny's to get them cremated Im not sure if it was because it's Halloween and they gave us a trick instead of a treat but u do not boil hashbrowns under any circumstances! And if u did fry them u need some some new oil as the viscosity must be at - levels

Visited whilst in the area on a walk - lovely welcome and a very friendly pub which feels like a pub should - a great selection of beers and ciders, fab chips and open fires - will definitely visit again

The delivery was as stated, and we are at a rural location. Although the staff in the shop did not pass on my directions to the driver which was evident. However the food was atrocious! No flavour at all, and I would go as far to say if I went to Tesco I would get a better curry. The worst curry I have had in a long time. I didn’t bother ringing to complain, as I don’t see how it could be rectified, every aspect of it didn’t have any taste.

Best carvery ever the cheese pie is to die for, and Sandra the waitress was very helpful and friendly

Quick friendly service, we're visiting the area and fancied a take out Chinese. There was plenty of food and the crispy prawns the best we'd had. We had to wait as we'd arrived early but the staff were talkative and very polite- I wish we lived nearer.

Booked a table and arrived on time to be told 45-1 hour wait for food. For a food establishment I think this is outrageous.
