The best restaurants in Staffordshire Moorlands West Midlands

Lovely place with lovely staff and customer's.

We are a family of 5 , 7 year old and 3 year old twins. The food was sub standard and I would not return again. The resort needs to do better considering this is one of their better restaurants. Staff were nice but service was slow.

A most disappointing experience today, caused by a mature male staff member, who should know better. In a party of 4, one of whom is disabled we ordered x 1 carvery and 3 Lite Bites @ £9.95 which is advertised as 2 courses. x 3 of our party went for mains and dessert which was advised as apple crumble and custard at point of ordering. When dessert arrived he advised we’re out of crumble and presented x 3 bread and butter puddings, he did not offer any substitute alternatives, when request was made for something else, he got really bad attitude , was clearly agitated and started stating pudding was complimentary and had no value, contradicting advertised Lite Bites 2 course menu. No management were available to speak to, eventually we got 3 ice creams. We had no complaints on food or venue, but this guy should not be front of house dealing with customers, from what we experienced today, allegedly his been in job 35 years. in total with food and drink we spent £68, we will not be returning.

Spot on. Food lovely, staff friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend to all. A lovely location too! Thank you we really enjoyed it.

The Raddle Inn is amazing! Best lasagna we have ever had. Friendly staff and service was fantastic. Well done, defiantly going back for more and will be recommending to family and friends

This restaurant is horrible! The food was cold, tasteless and expensive. For one adult, this buffet costs £21 and is only worth £1 in my eyes. The pizza was the worst I have ever tasted, with the pizza base being very thin and I am not 100% sure if the pizza was cooked all the way through to be honest. Further to this, the pasta was so watered down! It just tasted of nothing. Would definitely not recommend going.

We had not been to The Wheel for quite a while so decided to walk up and have tea. This is a lovely, old school traditional pub. The food was really good. The menu is exactly as you'd expect from a decent pub. Nothing fancy, no pages and pages to read through so you can't see the wood for the trees, just a good menu of real food at excellent prices. My husband had the lamb shank in red wine special and I had scampi. Portions were a good size and we both really enjoyed it. As it is such excellent value I am sure we will be back.

There’s a few different Chinese restaurants to use in the same town and we feel like we’ve found a gem here. Beautiful food, great quality and service with a smile. We had a set meal for 2 and each item of food was tasty and both my wife and I commented on how impressed we were. Will certainly be going back again.

Food excellent as was the service could not do enough , would highly recommend. If you are in or around Leek you will not be disappointed.

Went for breakfast, coffee machine broken so ended up with a cup of Tea Ordered 2 breakfasts and nice but helpings are getting smaller every time we go. Cake slices have gone very stingy and not much filling. But the carry on charging the same if not more. Did a bit of store shopping but prices high so shopping limited. Disappointed that this store have no charging facilities for electric cars etc. I cannot believe that we are in the year 2024 where Sainsbury's is advertising renewable energy and doing it's bit contributing towards saving the planet. But WHY has it not got EV Charging point a massive store with no facility to charge your cars.i fing This not only unbelievable but disgusting that a super sized store that been built a few years ago and would have had plenty of time to install chargers. I think I'll be shopping at Morrisons in leek at least they have chargers

Ordered takeaway overcooked not jing prawn balls more leaning to crisps inedible called to complain told they would not be so crispy next time, avoid like the plague

Chips tasted like they had been reheated several times, sausage wasn’t cooked!!! Man very rude, and lady serving needed to wash her hands!!!! Short changed us too! Will defo not be going back

The service was slow and the food poor to inedible. We had to request drink 3 times and the food took over half an hour to arrive. The veggie burger was disgusting. I had one mouthful and had to spit it out into my napkin. My husband tried the burger and also thought it was disgusting. None of my family enjoyed their meal, but mine was the worst. Husband told the waiter I had left to get food elsewhere as the burger was that bad. The restaurant admitted that they had received complaints about that menu item, but it is still on the menu. No offer to refund any money off the amount that we had paid. This was the worst meal I have ever been served.

Fantastic location but a shame about the food. We were 5 hungry cyclists. We were told they were running down stocks of food because there was a function the next day. There was one vegetable pastie, one vegan roll and both disgusting as microwaved. I had the last scone which was stale. This left others with a piece of cake and a bag of crisps. Such a shame as I for one will not be eating there again!
