Food excellent as was the service could not do enough , would highly recommend. If you are in or around Leek you will not be disappointed.

Well. We have been to this place numerous times and every single time it has been amazing. Polite staff but most importantly the food is unlike any other restaurant. It's simple amazing. But even the aesthetics of the place provides a great atmosphere to enjoy your food. There is only 1 rosemary word that describes this restaurant and that is perfect.

Use this restaurant all the time and always find the service to be very good food is excellent and price is good

Poor local knowledge of person on phone After trying to place an order on line we phoned the restaurant to find that wear we are staying is too far away and they don’t deliver that far. Will deliver up to 4 miles but 2.2 miles too far!. After reading other reviews, probably lucky escape

Brilliant just Brilliant we have only just returned here for our takeaway have been going to pabna but they have gone down bank so glad we tried here again .

We ordered a delivery and the wait time was 85 minutes. We waited 100 minutes then chased online. They said it would be 10 minutes. After 10 minutes nothing so we chased again. Again it would be 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes we had to make something from the freezer. Very disappointing. Won’t use them again as it’s not the first time.

Came here 6 months ago and was not overly impressed, but we usually give eateries a few chances as we know most people/places have “bad days”. But wow….. not impressed Ordered again tonight (26/12/2021) Chicken Tikka Madras Chicken Rogan Josh chips Garlic naan. Crinkle cut oven chips aren’t what I expect when having a take out. Naan not even close to cooked! Curry’s were a tasteless, watery mess! Never ever will we go here again. Avoid

Sorry to say not coming to leek for a tandoori any more. The waiter, attitude was not a ray of light,. The food was a massive let down, Too greasy and the nam bread was burnt on the under side and ranked one of the worst with Nan ever.

Starters tasted OK, but very disappointing size wise with tiny portions of onion bhajis and samosas. Good portions of main meals, but the curries were blander than we'd expected.

We have used Raj for parry bookings before and they are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them, food requirements are met, variety and quality are great, to take 34 people and every say how great it was speaks volumes, our 1st choice for large bookings without question

Got takeaway from Rajah for the first time last month (after having tried other curry houses in Leek) and it was really delicious! Love the variety of starters and main courses (even satisfied a fussy vegetarian- no bland vegetable meals here!)- the aloo pakora is amazing and vegetable Ceylon curry a triumph. Staff are friendly and welcoming- we’ve gone back for a takeaway nearly every week since. Can’t rate highly enough!

During lockdown fancied a Take away delivery and rajah was great, even turned up early, lovely food and good price, well done

Rajah opens at 5.30 so xmas eve got in early and ordered food for my mum and dad, preordered at 4.00pm, online for 6.15pm. Mumm and dad (vulnerable) recieved a call at 5.37pm saying food is going be late. 7.30 to 7.45 ish. Mum and dad dissapointed, but new years eve. 8.15 no food, phone taken of the hook, ordered a kebab at 8.17 for mum and dad, turned up 8.52. Great. Rajah curry finally arrived at 9.15,...... But... Mum and dad said Food looked awfull, not write and lamb smelt off. Terrible service, when they rang they should have just said sorry we cannot deliver. Avoid, never again

Attended here on a Monday night. Good service, fast and attentive waiters. Food came out quickly and was of a high quality. Decent portion size and very tasty. Reasonably priced, was part of the eat out to help out scheme but would have happily paid full price. Would recommend.

We ordered online and collected a takeaway to eat back at our campsite. We have no complaints, it all seemed really nice and full of flavour. We ordered all vegan dishes highlighting we’re milk intolerant, and as far as we could tell it was all good and they gave us a complimentary drink too.

Avoid this place. Waited over an hour for to be seated even though we booked. The beer is flat as is the lemonade, the gin tastes sour. Service wasn’t great either, the mushrooms were greasy. Avoid avoid avoid.

We had some food delivered via Just Eat- I had lamb ceylon and my wife had chicken malayan. Very impressed - everything was well prepared and we all enjoyed it immensely. Might have to go for a sit down meal sometime when the covid crisis is over with

Went the other night with the family was excellent. Would highly recommend. The chicken shashlick was so tender and mouthwatering.

I visited with a friend and we ordered popadoms which were horribly greasy and tasted as though they were several days old. Dips were no better. Then moved on to the Rajah special - the meat was tough and no prawns visible. Nan bread arrived wrapped in a plastic bag! On the positive side the rice ok.

My husband, daughter and I have been going to the Rajah reguarly for 15 years. The food has consistently been good, the service excellent and the price reasonable.We have taken many friends here over the years and they have all enjoyed going here. The owner, his son and the waiters always greet us warmly and although we have tried other Indian restaurants in Leek we always return to the Rajah.

Food was ok, bit bland, service was ok if a little hap-hazard. After the meal my friend asked for a lollipop off the bar and another for her toddler which she was given by a staff member. She was bitten on the tongue by an ant coming out of the lolly which had crawled up the plastic stick. We went back to have a quiet word with the manager, he went mad and shouted at my friend for taking Lolly's ment for children!! We then noticed ants crawling all over the bar ☹️ very disappointing. Won't be back.

Paid £36 for 2 main meals and 4 starters and arrived with no mint yoghurt for the starter and no pickle tray which I had ordered and paid forRang the restaurant who said to remind them on my next order and they would send me something complimentary!!! What about the ruined dry starter and Popadoms of this meal and the money I paid for itLast week no salad and a starter missing which I didn’t call them as I know mistakes happen but 2 weeks in a row I will go back to my old takeaway shop which is a shame as the food is actually very good

Prawn on purée starter was bland . Chicken madras was also bland . More like a standard curry sauce . Keema naan was the best bit. Used to be quite good here but I think they just wanted shut up and go home

Called in for a meal on the spur of a moment and I can honestly say the food was delicious and the best Nash bread I have ever tasted and was our first visit but can’t wait to go backThank you to the staff who were lovely

We ordered food. It come within 30 mins. Brilliant. The starters were not right. I ordered a meat samosa. (Vegetable ones arrived) my partner ordered shami kebab. This didn’t arrive. Both curries were watery. No taste or spice what so ever. Although one curry was supposed to be like vindaloo? NaN bread was dripping with grease so couldn’t even eat it. Chips were frozen McCain chips. If you want a better curry you may as well go to Iceland or Aldi. No word of a lie. Absolutely disgusting for £40!!!

Visited this evening (hadn’t booked) and was told to sit down in the bar area whilst they decided whether they could accommodate us. Service seemed to be a little chaotic and some of the staff could have been a little friendlier. The food was ok, all cooked well and hot.

Another excellent meal at the Rajah. Good food good beer and excellent service at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend

Food came out quick, got seen to very quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Curry was a bit watery and not as spicy as normal curry place . Had a rogan josh not as spicy as I like. Everything else was great. Would go again

Couldn't really fault the food but the staff were very ignorant, the little older man is lovely he's been there for years but the others were just dropping the plates and food anywhere on the table, after we finished they came back snatching plates and the money no please thanks or anything, opened the door for us to leave we all said thanks but no response whatsoever, so don't think we'll bother again and go back to our favourite Indian restaurant in Leek

Once again we landed at the Rajah Tandoori and as usual we were warmly greeted. There was six of us last night all ready for an Indian feast and that’s exactly what we got. I have read some reviews stating that the staff were unfriendly and the customer service was poor, all I can say is that last night the service was superb and the staff were great. We all had starter and mains which were perfectly cooked and nicely presented, bottles of cobra and wine flowed freely and a good night was had by all.

Staff are grumpy, only one nice gent who had an ounce of customer service. Owner seemed indifferent to his staff/family members lack of customer service - menus snatched, plates slatted down, shouting drinks orders down to the bar whilst stood at the table etc.....Food was alright to nice and in fairness; not expensive (get what you pay for). I told the staff member we were splitting the bill, paying an equal amount, he didn't seem to understand this! We queued at the bar and all paid, he asked each person how much they were paying, he wrote it all down and entered the amount into a calculator...he then came chasing after us outside the restaurant asking if we had all paid and how!?! Very unprofessional!

Party of 20+ of us visited last night.

Our first port of call for a good curry in Leek. Consistently good curries with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I would recommend a great deal of curries on the menu. Just sit back, relax, have a drink or two and enjoy the food.

We have visited the Rajah a few times in the last couple of years, most recently for the local rugby club U16 team parents dinner. The hosts are always keen to please, laying tables out in an order to ensure a group of over 30 are all together, a very well priced running buffet with tasty and plentiful portions. However we have visited as smaller groups (4) and found them to be just as accommodating, a good menu with a wide selection. So for groups of small parties its a good night out.

We usually have a takeaway which is excellent but decided to call in. Waited 50 minutes at the table for our 1st drink after asking for it twice. Appreciate they were busy but staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. Three different waiters asked us for our order including drinks when we had already ordered on arrival. Yes the food wad great but when hungry after I day at work you don't expect to wait 90 minutes. People were walking in, ordering a takeaway and leaving with before we got our 1st drink. If hungry don't go if not worth a visit. Very disappointed indeed. .....

I’ve heard mixed reviews about this restaurant but me & my partner decided to try it & i’m very glad we did. The food was amazing & a good price too. The only downfall was I found the staff very miserable....but I’ll definitely be returning.

We fancied an Indian meal and so ordered it for delivery over the internet from Rajah Tandoori as we have had some great meals there in the past. Upon ordering an hour countdown began on the computer and we waited in anticipation for our meal ..... the hour passed and still no meal :( we waited a short while longer before phoning to see where it was as the computer was saying it had been delivered ... Shortly after our phone call we had the delivery driver call saying he was trying to deliver but couldn't find us, maybe he could have phoned us when he first got lost ? we received the meal and opened it all up and noticed a few extra poppadum's had been added to our order which we initially thought was a lovely touch but upon tasting them some were crisp but some were soft and not enjoyable. The main dishes we had were Markoni and passanda and garlic chicken and were all really good as we had had all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the earlier problems were soon put to the back of our minds . The main dishes were of a high quality and plentiful and despite a couple of niggles we would recommend having a takeaway from there and we will try one again to see if it can be ordered in their timescale they gave us and if all the poppadum's could be crispy.

We regularly eat at Rajah. It was busy tonight but this did not affect the quality of the food we ordered - Lamb RoganJosh, Chicken Tikka Paneer & Chicken Jalfreizi with Vegetable Pilau, Garlic Nan & Sag Aloo. With poppadoms & drinks our bill came to £50 for 3 of us. There is always a lovely welcome for us at Rajah - the staff are very polite & friendly - would not hesitate to recommend.

Family over from Oz meant 11of us wanting a nice meal and catch up. We had here been before but other people in our party had. Sadly it appeared that the night we went the local coven were also meeting there as there was a very loud party of cackling women in at the same time. It took ages to finally get our order taken and food was missed out when it eventually did turn up.It was OK but nothing to write home about. I don't think we'll be rushing back.

The service is consistently friendly and professional. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. 4 stars due to not many veggie options, although the veg curry I had was tasty and fresh.

Visited today massive sign in window 5 courses for £10.95 the food quality was good but the offer was not valid although it was advertised in the window and remained in the window even after being told it was not valid slightly concerning.

We have eaten here from time to time for a number of years. The food and service is always excellent. Don't come here if you want some atmosphere though it is always empty. I can't understand why.

We used to live in Leek and visit the Rajah regularly. We hadn't been for 18 months and didn't realise how much we had missed the quality and quantity of meals.You have to go a long way to find anything comparable. The good work continues - hurray!

I took my mum out for a Friday night bite to eat. The food was lovely, the staff were very courteous and the place was nice. They couldn't do enough for us. I can highly recommend this place.

We organised a fundraising meal at the rajah, we had a hot buffet with starters and main course for 45 people. The food was excellent in presentation quality and quantity the service was first class. We would definitely recommend this restaurant

We had a table booked for 8.30. Took 45 minutes to get seated. It then took over an hour to get our mains. Poor.

Wow....in a word amazing ..the food is fantastic absolute bargain and tasty plenty of it ..the staff genuinely lovely polite happy so much care n attention to detail ..would definitely recommend ..we've been twice now both experiences 110% ..well done guys keep up the good work

I have only recently ordered from the Rajah. I usually went to the Pabna but that has gone downhill dramatically.My takeaway took only half an hour. The food was piping hot and very tasty indeed. The chicken tasted fresh and there was lots of it. The pappadoms were nice and crisp and the chutneys fresh (thought the mint sauce was very odd though - needs changing to yoghurt with mint). Will continue to order from the Rajah. In fact, I think I will do that now.

I came here with a group of work friends and we pre ordered a buffet for 10 pplWOW!! There was enough food to gave fed at least 20 ppl ... at only £12 per head this was a complete bargain !! There was a wide variety of choice .. There was way too much food left over . But it was absolutely gorgeous ...everything was fresh hot and tasty !! I would definitely recommend a buffet here but maybe ask to be catered for less ppl !! By time we excelled on starters (lamb kofta., chicken tikka peices, Huge onion bahjis, salad, samosas) there left little room for the 4 different main dishes that came out in huge bowls ...along wi 3 diff rice and 3 diff naan breads !!!! The staff r polite aswell and can't do enough for you !! They don't constantly hound your table like some places do ! Made to feel most welcome and felt like we could relax and take our time !! Didn't feel rushed at all ..Keep up the good work rajah x

We pre booked for a group of 11 on Sat 2 Jan. We were seated on arrival - the food was delivered promptly & of a good standard. The service was excellent & I would not hesitate to recommend to others. I am a little surprised by the previous reviews as we have never had any problems when eating here. The bill was sorted promptly & efficiently.

A large party of us. The food was ok, service not very good. Big problems with the bill at the end of the evening - eventually sorted correctly but will not be going back as everything seems a little dodgy!

We used to love coming here to eat in and also order takeaways but recently they are a serious let down.Firstly let me just say, the food is always brilliant quality and really tasty. The bar staff and waiters are great and really attentive. The big problem is in the kitchen. They cannot cater for such a large restaurant with so many seats and also take away orders. The last 4 times we've ordered take away over the past year, each order has ran over by around 30 minutes. Tonight we ordered at 7.50 and were told it would be 40 minutes. It took 95 minutes before we got our food.The staff were really good about it, we were offered a discount and drinks while we waited. But after being told 10 minutes repeatedly when we asked. It turned into a joke.Other people collecting food were also met with the same long waiting times too. Then to top it off when we got the food home, we were missing parts of the meal. But having waited so long, we were too hungry and I had missed too much of the rugby to bother chasing the missing food up. This place used to be our first choice now they'll be lucky if we ever go again unfortunately.Great food - Rubbish chefs.

We are here as 2 couples. There is plenty of room and the staff are nice . Been here a few times as its close. Everything was nice except I have had much nicer peshwari naans. I asked what the matir panir side dish was and was told chickpeas and Indian cheese. But it was garden peas which was disappointing. Also are friends has saag aloo which was very greasy.

A group of us enjoyed the weekday set meals. The welcome was friendly and we were allowed to mix and match which gave us a great choice of rice, breads and side dishes. The food was tasty and the service very good.

We were greated by a gentleman who i presume was the owner and he shook our hands and welcomed us and asked the bar gent to see what we wanted to drink , all of the staff were more than obliging although being asked by several people during our meal if everything was ok did begin to irritate a little The popadoms were not as crisp as i would have liked and we ran out of 3 of the 4 pickle dished before we had eaten them all but the taste was there and they were enjoyedthe rice and the currys came and were beautiful and cooked to perfection and the nans we ordered were also spot on We enjoyed the meal and the ambience and left with full stomachs ! we will return or have takeaways from here in the future i'm sure

This is by far our favourite Indian restaurant. We find the food to be of a consistantly high standard, and where special dietary needs are concerned, nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are always attentive and always remember their regular and not so regular customers. We are delighted that they seem to be doing so well, whenever we visit, they seem to be very busy, however early we arrive to try to eat when it is quiet! We never feel rushed, never feel that the tables are too close together and always feel very welcome

We looked this place up while staying in the area for a few days, arrived on spec about 7pm on a Friday evening. As it was fairly early it was not very busy at first but soon started to get busier. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. They served us cut up oranges after the meal which was a lovely touch, you don't see that very often any more. We finished with fresh coffee which they generously topped up for us free of charge. Very enjoyable evening, will definitely return next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.

Me and a few of my friends went to Alton towers, and arranged a night out in Leek, .. ended up at this Indian, waited 20 minutes to be seated (which is fine) ... After FINALLY getting seated, around 5 waiters we're hovering round us gormless laying other tables ... checking every other table apart from ours.. we sat there for twenty minutes with no drinks? Not one poppadom, and no orders. Of course we walked out, and which the bald guy with glasses was incredibly rude, and accused us of leaving and then coming back in, ridiculous. It ruined my whole night I was disgusted, and I would seriously never return... ever! STAY CLEAR.

The 5 course meal for £10.95...what a bargain, super value for money for a lovely tasty treat.The staff are very friendly and always accommodating.

This was our second visit again as part of a large group. This time the place was very busy but the standards and the level of service were even better. A warm friendly welcome, good service and great food all served hot and generous sized portions. Everyone enjoyed their meal and staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Will go again when in the area.

I dined here for a friend’s birthday and was not impressed to say the least. When we were seated at our table I found that my cutlery was dirty, when I bought this to the attention of the waiter he said "it's ok it's been washed" After a further conversation he then replaced the dirty cutlery. When our food was served the food was not very hot (temperature not spice) Don’t bother eating here it's awful.

So, we ordered a Takeaway tonight which was a reasonable size order. £95 worth of food. Now, I appreciate it is a Friday night but when we ordered (over the phone from Macclesfield) they could not tell us a price or time but did say they would call back to let us know. We received no call back but as we were half an hour away, we weren't too concerned. After an hour of waiting, we gave them a call to investigate. This turned out to be the first of three calls to them and twice we spoke to the Manager. On the last call, after getting quite angry with them, I was told by the manager that the driver was on out street. 30minutes later he had still not arrived. Leek just isn't that big! 2 hours....yes 2 hours after originally ordering, there was still no sign of the food, so we called back and told them not to bother. Having three kids all under 12 years old who were now extremely tired and hungry with no food we had to make other arrangements quickly. The food finally turned up 2 and half hours after originally being ordered which we obviously refused. Seriously, if I ran a Business in the public service industry and expected to stay profitable with Service like this, I would be crazy. Thank You Rajah Tandoori for ruining our evening and you will not be getting any further business from at least 8 people. In a small town, word of mouth travels fast and means everything. If you truly are 'Under New Management', they need firing!!

be aware if you have your food delivered they do not tell you that you dont get your 20 percent of we got stung last night and delivery cost us 14 pounds that would of been our discount if we had of fetched it .but the quality and flavour of food was beatiful

They cater for vegetarians,diabetes and any other requests, including people looking to watch their weight..... Great staff!!!!! fantastic place love it!!!!!!!! Fab for takeaway as well.....

A group of ten of us visited on a Wednesday evening when it was relatively quiet. We all had a very personal and individual friendly welcome. Nice bright environment and tables well laid out. We all had the special five course offer for £10.95 which was excellent value and a good choice of dishes. Food was really good, hot, plentiful and nicely presented. Service was quick and efficient and our waiter was very friendly sharing the odd joke. I would certainly go back again. At the end of the evening we were asked if everything had been satisfactory and the staff chatted as we left and again were very friendly.

Had my birthday here with a table of thirty people. We pre ordered the food which meant that the food was quick to arrive and it was very nice. Even though we had a large table we were not overlooked, plenty of drinks and really good food, it was also very cost effective at twenty pounds a head for food and drinks.

Well where do I start well the service is slow, the food is well below standard, tasteless, and I think old, we could not wait to get out if it wasn't for the party I would of left as soon as they brought the food out it was so sub standard I wouldn't of give it my dogs. And don't get me started with the (what looked suspiciously like) dental floss in the food!! If hell freezes over I will never go back

We called in on a Saturday evening without booking, the staff were welcoming and very attentive. The food was very good and well presented and good value for the money charged. Judging by the amount of other diners we are not the only ones who thought so.

This is one of the friendliest restaurants we've been to and certainly the best Indian Restaurant. The food was excellent very fresh, well cooked and presented nicely. Would definitely go back again.!

The food came out wrong,when we told the waiter he wouldn't change the meal to the correct order,he just said it's nice anyway and left the table! The food was bland and didn't taste nice at all! You could tell the chicken was re heated and the staff were rude! I asked for a drink 4 times before I got it and waited 20mins for the bill! We told the manager we weren't happy when we left,he laughed it off and offered no apology! Will not be returning!

Good atmosphere. Relaxed environment. Staff all very attentive and welcoming. Particularly strong on meet and greet. Food consistently good and well presented. I have to say the quality of ingredients is no the best ever but always well cooked and seasoning etc resulting in good balance for eating. This is reflected in the very good value for money compared with similar establishments in town. We have been a few times over the last 5 years and always had a very pleasant experience.

Thought I'd try a takeaway. Sadly was very disappointed, the sauce was flavourless so we did not enjoy the meal.We had several dishes and all had the same problem. There was a lack of flavour with no taste of spices. The sauce tasted like it had been watered down to the point where the flavour had gone.

A party of 8 adults and one child went here on Sunday 4th May. Upon arrival, 3 of us were recognised by the Manager, who previously was at another restaurant in Burslem which we used to use when we lived in the area!! We sat in the waiting area and were served drinks, then quickly taken to our table. The place was VERY busy, which is a good sign, and the food orders were taken promptly, and delivered just as promptly, all very nice with efficient service! There are a few "chefs special" meals on their menu, so I decided to try one of those! It was a chicken and mango curry, served on it's own skillet, and placed on a warming tray. It was absolutely delicious!! The whole of our party were very pleased with the meals. The portions are generous, nicely cooked and well presented - well done to the chefs!! We were asked to take our coffees back in the waiting area, tho no problem there. Not long after we had vacated our table, a whole load of people poured in through the door!! Must have been at least 20 - which shows just how popular this place is. They were full all evening!! This seems to be a very popular place, so I would advise you to book in advance. Very enjoyable indeed.

We have been going to Rajah for the past 9 years. The service has always been excellent and we are always made to feel welcome. They have never failed to find us a table. The food of late has been of a particulary high standard. I would recommend to anyone.

Living locally I had gotten fed up of the same Indian in Buxton so we thought we would try an Indian in Leek, was heading towards Shapla where I hadn't been for a while but whilst we were trying to find somewhere to park we came across Rajah. Decided we would go in there for a change. We were welcomed in and taken straight to a table and whilst we looked at the menu enjoyed a couple of popadoms and a chutney tray and drinks. Our order was taken and food served promptly. The curries (chicken Korma and chicken tikka masala) were absolutely beautiful. I have masala everytime we go for an Indian and this one definitely stood out it was tomatoey with a hint of spice and full of flavours and went perfectly with my garlic naan and chips. The keema naan and keema rice were also delicious. The food was served hot and there was also a table warmer too. Could not fault this place will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

I booked a table for two at 8pm. We turned up at 7.50pm and were asked to wait in the reception area. A party of 14 then turned up at 8.10 pm and were eventually taken to their table. We were then told that they were sorry but there was no available table for us. Obviously the party had booked after us and they did'nt want to lose business. A shabby way to treat customers. I will not be going there again and would warn couples to be on their guard when booking here.

We are here in a Friday night and it was packed with lots of large parties. The food was excellent and arrived promptly despite this. This curry house has definitely got the ratio of staff to covers correct.

Three of us went on a Wednesday evening, 5 courses for £10.50. Popadoms, tikka balti, rice, garlic naan and ice cream for dessert. It was all served very quickly and piping hot. Went to this restaurant with family in October. Other Indian restaurant in Leek was fully booked. This one was empty. Now I know why. We had to send the poppadoms back as they were cold and soggy. Mains were bland and tasteless. We will not return.

Regular visitors at the Rajah. Always a lovely welcome, the food is delicious and we have never had a bad dish. Take outs are excellent too. Lovely restaurant.

This isn't one of my favourite curry houses in Leek. There is always a long wait to be seated and to get the bill. I think they want you to spend more money. The curries are a little disappointing to be honest, not very tasty. I should think they need to rethink the recipes. The atmosphere is not great as it is always very empty and such a beautiful room should be heaving. I hope they sort it out.

Went with the family whilst on holiday in Leek as it was my husband's birthday. Very warm welcome. Waiters were friendly and humorous.Starters were very tasty and mains were good too.We had hoped to get the £11 pound deal mentioned by 'Shammi' in their review but as it was a Friday the deal was not available.However our meal was very good value for money and I would definitely visit again if in the area!

Having visited this restaurant perhaps 50-60 times over the years I feel I'm in a good position to give an honest review. The service you are greeted with is ideal, kind and attentive without being over powering. The food is great quality, and never drops below a great standard. The value is incredible, I would and have recommended this restaurant to many.

We have been several times to this restaurant now and every time without fail the food has been 100% spot on. We tend to have their meal deal which gives you popadoms, a starter, a main, a side, and a pudding for less than £11! Total bargain. The staff and service are fantastic. They are all very polite and just can't do enough for you (without being overbearing). Really nice evening every time we go there. Was surprised to see it only had one other review!

The food is very nice and very reasonable. The waiters are extremely polite and would do anything for you. I have been to a number of curry houses and this is by far the nicest, welcoming indian restaurant. I would highly recommend this if you are just passing through the town, staying in the area or live nearby.
