Roti Restaurant in Staffordshire Moorlands

POOR EXPERIENCE !!!!Saturday night at Roti over charged by £15 and food was poor fatty chicken,only had the starters left the main as full of fat others on our table had similar experience,better curry in spoons x road for 3nd of the price,went home hungry as left the main meals and £45 lighter staff not interested.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!Recommend chicken jalfrezi by member of staff ,but when it arrived was 90% peppers only 2 pieces of very fatty greezy chicken with skin on it El Grimmo to say the least ,was also very salty,didn't eat the meal and complained to the members of staff ,but all he said was I speak to my boss which he never did !!!!!! , nothing done no replacement meal or refund,payed £45 for 2 very poor meals which worked out at £31.50 so over charged us as well , wouldn't recommend this restaurant Indian restaurant,had better curry from Aldi for £4,the Indian at West heath in Congleton far better 1/10 total waste of money they couldn't care less if theres a problem with your meal as long as you pay up never to return avoid go else where!!!!!!!!! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!BAD EXPERIENCE HAD

Delicious food, excellent service, just a little cold in the restaurant, would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Manager can be rude, aggressive and petty for no reason. Shame on him on the way he treats staff and customers.

We went for an 18th birthday celebration, and it happened to be on a meal deal evening. The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was good and the restaurant was very clean, we were all happy with our food, we'll definitely go back again and highly recommend eating there, booking is advisable.

The manager is rude, aggressive, and highly unprofessional. A whole evening ruined by his disgusting, disrespectful and diabolical attitude. Swearing in front of children is not acceptable and will certainly not be tolerated. Shocked and totally disappointed.

Really friendly south Asian restaurant. Fabulous food and super nice staff who gave us great tips for where to get a drink while we waited for our food... plus a free bottle of wine which was very drinkable!!

Fresh food prices are goods and delicious

Meal was barely warm on arrival. Everything had to be microwaved. Onion bhajis were doughy. Yoghurt dip looked neon. My sauce was hot but lacked any flavour. Tasted like a Chinese curry not an indian. Lamb meat was nice though. Disappointing overall.

1st time order - Just had the most amazing curry. Can't rate the food enough from Roti - Newpool Road will be ordering again ***** stars guys

Superb food and service as always. We feel so lucky to have Roti so near us. There are so many interesting and unusual dishes on the menu that Roti is my wife's favourite even though Indian food is not her favourite. We have never been disappointed here and it is our goto restaurant for entertaining friends and family.

Nice enough food.not totally happy with the oblong plates couldn't get the rice in ended up putting the rice on top of the curry. Usually it is a banquet night on a Tuesday evening and a Thursday evening but that has been suspended for Christmas

First time ordering never again! Food arrived practically cold , quality of the food was terrible, item missing and a waste of £30 ..

We have eaten in and also had takeaway food delivered from the Roti and always loved their food. However, we had one takeaway order missed completely and arrived over an hour late after my repeated phone calls and then a second one this Saturday 3rd December, which arrived more than 40 minutes late and COLD. On both occasions I had ordered online as pre-orders so that they would be amongst the first orders they would address. At more than £30 every Saturday, it is not money anyone can afford to waste. We had to microwave the food from Saturday but it was so disgusting we threw it away. Despite having been very loyal customers in the past, this is the last straw and we will not be ordering from them again. So very disappointing.

I have ordered a chicken tikka masala with a garlic Naan bread today and I really enjoyed it. I am very pleased with the food I received but the waiting time can be shorter as I was waiting for an hour for my food. The waiting time is the only downside but everything else is excellent.

This is a great Indian Restaurant , the food is lovely , courteous staff give excellent service , the place is clean and spacious . It’s been my favourite for years !

Well, an Adhoc date night saw me and my wife having an evening in Biddulph, yep, we went Biddulph town center. Can see some eyes rolling but, and I mean but, what an evening we have had. A few nice pints in the local, then a superb meal out here at Roti. Few things for me that stood out, - Service , these guys are superior to the norm, excellent service and very attentive. - Menu, superb, and as a curry lover, I mean superb. Starters were Devine, the mains were amazing and the extras topped it out off… Tie this in with a very reasonable wine / Prosecco price, plus the cobra on tap, these guys really know how to make you feel like you’ve had a decent time. Would recommend to all, wether you’re passing through or a local to Biddulph. Give this place a whirl… We will be back, and back again…! Well done all at Roti, you tick all the boxes…!!

Very good food but we waited 1hr 20 minutes for delivery, which as they are under 10 minutes away, is very poor.

Lovely food. Balti is lovely. Rice is nice, chips nice. Naan bread lovey but small. If you eat one on your own or share get 2. Overall lovely balti house.

The locals recommend this Indian highly but I think the reason is they don't know any better unfortunately. We tried this place out and never again, tastes more like a fast food curry house, the place needs a refurb also. Drive a few mins out of Biddulph and there is a great one in Leek and Tunstall. Congleton also has a few really nice Indians.

Our favourite Indian restaurant, very friendly staff and delicious food, it’s one of the only places we go to eat that’s always consistent with their standard of food.

Perfect. From the service to the good sized portions. Delicious balance of spices. Light fluffy breads. Everything fresh and you can really tell. In our view the best restaurant in the area and we have tried most over the years over 20 mile radius. Prices stand up to the rest value for money. Absolutely recommend. Would give more stars but there’s only five on here.

4 of the family went to ROTI first time to this restaurant and it will be the last cant complain about the table service, but the food is another thing. half of the food was served cold some was under cooked it was replaced but again it came back very cool none of us ate the meals but they still insisted on full payment. we also noticed that the table near to us had also left quite a lot of food, maybe they ware just having a bad night but for us was a disaster I have given 1 star because the cobra was served well

The meal was quite simply the best Indian meal that we have enjoyed in the UK. Almost as good as something in India without the atmosphere and steamy heat of the country. Service could not be faulted. Table was cleaned after every course, time between courses allowed for conversation and digestion. Even allowing for sitting in a conservatory (very un Indian!) the whole experience was one to savour. Congratulations to the cooks, the serving staff and management.

First time visiting tonight, we arrived early with our little boy and everyone was super friendly and accommodating for having a toddler in the restaurant. Food was lovely, not one negative thing I can think of for the food, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and the mint raita dip was excellent! We have recently moved close by and will definitely be visiting/ getting delivery in the future

Lovely place and cheap, the only thing I would say is if you wanted English food then this isn't for you. It's an all Indian restaurant. Lovely staff and great atmosphere.

Wow what a superb Indian restaurant! Fabulous food, excellent service, great atmosphere and the staff were extremely attentive. The owner was very proud of his restaurant food and all round experience for his customers. I can highly recommend as a very special Indian experience you will not be disappointed. 10/10 which is not given lightly but well deserved x

Although situated in the small town of Biddulph the ROTI Restaurant is absolutely a top notch dining establishment. The owners and staff ae so friendly and the restaurant decor could be in London. We frequent it once per week.

Have started to visit Roti regular as the food is just amazing. Have tried other restaurants in the city but they don’t compare for value and taste. Highly recommend the Roti Chefs starter (chicken tikka, samosa and a stuffed pepper). And then for mains, the Jaipur Masala is out of this world. Defo my go to for Indian food, keep up the good work Roti, food and service is second to none

A pleasant atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of dishes, all of which were delicious. Very reasonably priced and with midweek cheap deal. Wine list with quite a good choice.

I was really disappointed with the meal delivery this evening The Dahl was liquid and tasteless The lamb dish tasted like it had been cooked in mango chuckney so sweet We ordered a vegetable curry which wasn’t delivered All in all £34 of very substandard food that I would have been embarrassed to serve to my friends Won’t be ordering again

Bland, uninspiring leather in a sloppy sauce. Would have been better tipping a jar of Pataks in the pan. 2 poor orders in a row, won't be a third.

Can not believe how much this place has gone down bank. Worst meal I've had in ages. Lamb gristle like liver. Chicken chewy. Chips practicly raw Jalfrazy not spicy hot it was as spicy as a corma we all chucked our meals also nan bread missing nearly 40 quid for crap sorry giving this place a wide birth looked like it was rushed feel ripped off good bye rosti you won't be taking any of my well earned cash again.

I rang before opening hours (which I didn't realise) and someone answered the phone and still took my order. Very polite and always up for a chat when entering the premises. Cant go wrong with the food here, reasonably priced and tasty food. Looking for a weekend treat heres the place.

Excellent experience very fast takeaway service. And first class food. The free bottle of wine was a bonus.

Foods really good the takeaways are delicious and a good size portions the staff are always friendly and helpful and are taking Corona virus precautions seriously feels Safe and clean can't fault it

Would highly recommend roti, the food is always tasty and hot the staff are so helpful and nothing is to much trouble no matter how many times you shout them over, best Indian I’ve had in a long time.

This place is great the staff are all very pleasant. However a few things they need to work on. A minor detail but a bit more effort into the drinks would be nice, a couple of ice cubes and a tiny slice of lime in a gin and had to pour my own mixer from a small bottle. We sat through what can of be described as back to the 2000s album literally pop music from that era. Personally I prefer classical Indian music. Lastly no desert menu so bear that in mind of you wanted a 3 course meal. Other than that the food was great and was offered a free drink at the end.

We ordered a takeaway for 3 adults and 3 children, we had it delivered. It was on time, delivered by a very pleasant lady. The food itself was piping hot, delicious and we were all extremely full and satisfied after. Roti is by far the best Indian restaurant around. Always tasty and made to your specific taste if requested. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Food and service both really good, had a lovely curry which whilst being as spicy as described in the menu was really enjoyable made with lovely tender pieces of Lamb . thankyou :-)

Food was ok on parr with other curry houses visited. However took 50 mins for starter to arrive. When politely asked for when the food would arrive, the cheery waiter turn monosyllabic and slightly rude for the rest of the night. Oh and still got the order wrong. Seemed more concerned on pushing drinks, was this linked to slow service to maximise profits? Overall left a bad taste in the mouth don't be visiting again.

Visited this restaurant last night, one meal was and we have been really ill all day... Very dissapointed that we have missed a full day only coming home from work at weekend. Will be reporting this incident. (Have informed the restaurant and they don't care!)

We like to visit a different Indian restaurant every few months for variety. Found this on trip advisor and decided to give it a go. We were very pleased, it was very nice and tastey indeed.

Great food, friendly staff, good value for money

Been a regular customer of roti for a while but don't know what has gone on 3 order we have that the order has been wring, they have started to use cheap chicken piece in stead of fresh an dthe nan breads would be better brought from asda. Something has gone wrong but I don't know what but something has changed and not for the better.Shame was such a good restraint and takeaway but have totally lost our business.

This is one of my favourite places to eat,staff very friendly and would bend over backwards to make sure your evening goes well. The food is very tasty and well priced. Certainly I would recommend it to anyone
