Love Monty’s!!! I do wish the chicken curry and chips were a permanent menu item though!! But I haven’t visited in a while so maybe it’s been reintroduced. Keep up the good work.

I really don't know why some reviewers are complaining. If you want a la carte, don't go to a small market town tea room! Rant over - I visited here one Sunday lunchtime with my mother originally just for a cup of tea, but we decided to stay for lunch. Seating was no problem, everything was clean and tidy. Yes, the decor is a little eccentric, but it's not tatty or untidy, (well, with maybe the exception of the cabinet of Barbie/Sindy dolls - that could probably go). My mother had the Tuna sandwiches and I had the breakfast. The food arrived in very good time and it was SUPERB! Staff - all of the young ladies were brilliant, efficient and friendly. Will I return? Absolutely!

This is a great spot, being able to sit by the water is great to enjoy your treats you've brought and got from the cafe. staff were lovely and service was great, there's a minimum card spend of £5 but don't worry you'll hit it, as I felt it was a bit on the expensive side, however the sandwiches they made were lovely, and it is really the only place to go once you've been to wetton hill and Thors cave. x2 solero Ice Creams cost around £5/£6 and x2 sandwiches and x2 bottles of pop cost about £13 ish however I wouldn't let this takeaway from the experience as it was really lovely and a great place to come to. I would definitely recommend it! Also if you have been to Thors Cave and have gotten a little mucky you can wash your hands and so on in the toilets just out the front of the cafe which was a big lifesaver.

Just wandering along, and came across this very nice, dog friendly place. sat down ordered our drinks, and the lady brought some little treats for the dog. a very nice touch. Tea was very nice and the fruit toast was lovely.

Lovely cakes and you get a massive slice as well! Was lovely…..chilly outside but warm inside the cafe with a lovely warm fire. A must try place!!

A Nice smooth coffee with a tasty slice of cheese cake . Even though the cafe was very busy the staff were nice and friendly . I will definitely go again when I’m in Cheadle

Curry sauce tasted like a mix of soy sauce and gravy, with consistency of water, didn't go down well with my meal of choice. Next time, I'll check food before leaving with my order.

Delicious food! Staying at Crowtrees caravan site and had takeaways twice. Fish, chips and peas for hubby and seafood pizza for me first night, very tasty, quality food, good service. Tonight we’ve had liver and onions and chicken curry, both with chips, so impressed - both meals were delicious!

Never disappoint! Fantastic fish and chip shop! Honestly the guy that run this please, is a second to none! Keep it up…

Best spare ribs in Stoke on Trent, tried most in the area and these can’t be beaten. Highly recommended with no qualms

We occasionally pop over on a Saturday afternoon once or twice a year and are always welcomed like old friends, it’s such a nice place, and the locals are so friendly, we love it here.

He estado en Tiggywinks muchas veces con mi hijo y hemos encontrado el personal acogedor y atento a todas mis necesidades. Ambos Jamie y Rita he pasado muchas horas entretenido no sólo mi hijo pero me con historias y bromas fabulosas. La comida es estupenda y cuesta tan poco por lo que tienes en tu plato. He llevado muchos de mis amigos aquí y todos de acuerdo en que es un gran lugar para con los niños pequeños, aunque no hay zona de juegos. Dos grandes aprobado!

Had a great visit here. Place was nice inside. Staff friendly. Food was really nice and large portions. Kids meals were really quite large. All 4 of us enjoyed our meal and we’d definitely go back again
