Great find and free parking. Had a good walk along old train railway whilst family went to Thor cave. On way back to where we had parked we found this lovely cafe. All tables outside were full so we went inside and found table for us two. Lovely Earl Grey tea and shared huge piece of beautiful Bakewell cake, it was beautiful and very tasty. Very reasonable pricing and staff were lovely.

I hadn’t heard of Wetton , a fellow biker suggested we visit , however we have a dog so took the car and followed the sat nav . The route took us down a very narrow and steep single track road with passing places and had the wife quite nervous! Was it worth it ? Possibly if you just want a quick coffee out of a machine and then go walking. The route out took us through a one way tunnel in the car and on to Harrington which would be a better way in if you’re in a car.

My little boy knocked over his hot chocolate and the owner was so kind and showed concern for him. He wasn’t hurt. She insisted on getting him another one and cooled it down for him. She was so kind and put him at ease. He has for special education needs and he got very upset very quickly. She was lovely as was the girl who cleaned it up. Another staff member then ran out after us as we left his hat! Great place. Lovely Mocha, cappachino, hot chocolates, cake and chocolate bars. Thanks guys

Went on a 11 mile hike from Hulme End to Thor’s Cave on a day of sunshine and a few heavy showers. On our way back we decided to call in to the tea room and timed it perfectly with a downpour. We were greeted really warmly by the gentleman covering for the owner on her day off and chatted to him during our stay, so friendly. Due to Covid restrictions there are currently only 2 tables inside but there is outdoor seating as well. The choice of cakes was mind blowing, probably around a dozen to choose from plus chocolate, ice creams, sandwiches. We went for a couple of hot chocolates with marshmallows and cream plus clementine and mocha cakes, both delicious. We also chose a couple more pieces to take away! All were priced very reasonably. Just what we needed to complete our walk and highly recommended.

I've been visiting Manifold since I was a child, we have used the cafe on many occasions but we have finally given up on them and feel I have to write this review in the hope it will up their game. Food isn't good, poor quality tea and coffee, unfriendly to the point you wonder why on earth they operate at all, toilet facilities are dirty and heaven help you if you dare to bring your vehicle onto the car park even if you intend using the cafe, no such thing as benefit of doubt here. By contrast we also stop at Lee House Farm Tea Room and garden further along the track towards Waterhouses, excellent food, quality beverages, beautiful location, large comfortable indoor cafe, beautiful gardens to sit in and a friendly welcome not to mention card payments accepted. We won't be using Wetton Mill cafe again, there's only so much poor service that you can take.

We really enjoyed stopping in this magnificent setting to look at the waterfalls while we had a mug of tea and a biscuit. Unfortunately the mugs of tea were stewed. I know we should have gone back and perhaps they would have made fresh tea but on a busy day it is hard to fight your way back to the front. Also unfortunate was that the locally made shortbread biscuit that was made out of margarine not butter. It wasn't very nice. However I would come back again for the experience.

Visited with my husband during a bike ride, ordered two hot drinks and took one of the many available seats at the place was completely empty. Took a bite out of a flapjack out of my bag and heard storming heels approaching us. A blonde woman who i would imagine as the owner aggressively told us to stop eating our own food. I appreciate that they do indeed serve cakes (many of which i was allergic to) to make money so my husband and i immediately stopped. I did however advise them that her hostile manner was probably the reason that they were completely empty on a Friday lunchtime during half term.
