Been today, Sandra served me and was very nice. Great place, nice food, would recommend.

Visited today with my partner for a early birthday meal. He had the carvery calzone and I had bacon cheese burger. Food was really nice and served by a lovely lady named Sandra.

Tuesday evening 6pm visit. Both ordered a carvery to our dismay. The roasters were absolutely solid, yorkshires were just OK, cauliflower cheese was fine, but the beef, o the beef, I can say without any doubt was the toughest of my lifetime. Had the cutlery been sharp it would not have helped. Needless to say first and last visit.

Lovely food with great variety and friendly, welcoming staff. Special mention to Sandra for always being friendly and welcoming. I go here regularly with family and it never disappoints.

The Ashbank Stokehouse offers an exceptional dining experience! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and professional staff. The setting is elegant and comfortable, perfect for a dinner with family or friends. The dishes were tasty and well presented, showcasing fresh, quality ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the steak, which was cooked to perfection. The service was quick and courteous, which made our evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend The Ashbank Stokehouse to anyone looking for great food in a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely return!

The food's always great here, and the service is even better. Sandra in particular is really nice, and always happy to help with anything. My wife and I ordered some food and it took longer than expected to get to us. Sandra apologised for the wait by getting us some complementary ice cream. I'd recommend the pub to anyone, carvery lovers or not.

Absolutely amazing food, I mean really amazing. The beef just melted in your mouth, all vegetables were cooked. Waitresses Sandra and Philly a big thank you for your high level of service and politeness. Definitely coming back again. I’m a wheelchair user and everything is wheelchair accessible with plenty of space.

Visited for Sunday carvery, kids meal and one other. Carvery was nice, kids burger came with solid dry bun. Had to wait at the bar to give in voucher for kids desert whilst others got served before me, received their desert and left! Still waiting for kids desert!! Terrible service. Staff miserable and the toilets are a disgrace.

I am local to the Ash Bank and have been visiting often since I moved to the area last year. I regularly visit during the week and find the service provided at lunchtime to be first class. All of the staff are friendly and Sandra for one goes the extra mile. I must also mention the manager Aiden who can usually be found either on the carvery counter or clearing tables. We will continue to visit and highly recommend the Carvery.

Been 2 times in 2 weeks , the food - omg the nastiest breakfast I've had this morning. Stale bread in the bins because of no lid , gristle was the sausages !! spitting out big chunks of gristle the black pudding dried out under heat lamps definitely the last time I go here food has took a massive dive then 3 kids (teens) did nothing but shout , fart & burp an thought it was funny while myself and a few other customers were eating at their table with staff just walking past ... never again. I felt like I wanted a refund but didn't want create a fuss my whole family & friends use to come here weekly and they have all stopped .... so am I.

Needs a good clean sticky tables carpet but staff nice and food ok ish

Visited 16/07/24 I found helpful, friendly staff and had the buffet breakfast and unlimited refills of coffee, lovely grub and great value for money, I will be back for more soon. 10/10 😊

Excellent breakfast if you like fried bread and your bacon well-done. Mushrooms are 49p extra but be warned, they put them in a dish on the counter next to all the other breakfast items so some people come along and take them thinking they are part of the breakfast items so you then have to stand and wait for them to cook some more! Carvery is ok but not as good as Toby Carvery. Staff are very polite and friendly. I eat breakfast here regularly but wouldn't rush back for a Carvery.

Just had a lovely carvery here and the bar staff were spot on very friendly. Would definitely be back in the future.

Carvery veg was kept well topped up. Cabbage had a lot of storks in it so not nice, Yorkshire pudding soggy but everything else was fine. Long wait in line but it was Sunday, maybe a 2nd server on the meats might help.

It’s Sunday and me and a mate are out for some food. What a nice clean friendly place is. It’s a buffet breakfast and you can have refill coffee as well. Nate who served us was great and friendly. Highly friendly.

Our food was brought out at all different times. Asked staff member where our food was, was fold rudely I'll check. The park is dangerous, as a result my son was rushed to hospital to have emergency surgery on his arm. I struggled to get my son back into the pub from the park, where staff members just looked at me no offer of help or to see if my son was OK and it was quiet obvious my sons arm was broken.

The ladies that served us were friendly and helpful we had a carvery for lunch which was very nice cauliflower not as well cooked as I like it

Car park was quite full but once inside there’s plenty of room, staff were excellent from drinks to the bill, couldn’t fault the food, two roast dinners and one fish dinner were really good.

Always love going here. Very friendly staff especially Sandra who always takes care of us. Food is great, atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. Easy with kids, and very accessible.

Came today for a bit of dinner to help get my baby to sleep and San, ange, Elina annd Aiden out front made sure the atmosphere was great and the service was spot on! The dinner I had (I ate as I was starving lol so no pic) was absolutely fantastic!
