The best restaurants in South Staffordshire West Midlands

Great food and atmosphere, brilliant use of outdoor space having a lot of open cover feeling spacious but allows you to sit outside no matter the weather.

We hired the restaurant for a club meeting and asked for a buffet. The food was perfect with a good variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, nuggets, salad and chips. Drinks were readily available at the bar and we're served with a smile. Highly recommended.

The mixed grill was expensive. Very poor quality meat. Mostly gristle. Food was Luke warm. Very disappointing this time. £35 for a meal which was almost inedible.

Driving through with my partner, decided to give these guys a go as we were hungry. These are the best chips I've had in a while battered sausages were spot on. Went down a treat with the curry sauce. Definitely visit again when this way.

The food and beer were both absolutely fantastic but the service was absolutely shocking. Edit:- we dined on the evening of the 12th October.

Nice food for the money. Good choice of beer. Lovely location by a canal. Interior a bit dated but that's probably how they can offer good value.

2 hours and 20 minute wait for our food!! ordered at 7:42pm, rang at 9:12pm to be told the foods there waiting for the next available driver, maybe another 20 minutes i was told...didn't arrive until 40 minites later at 10pm. The food had 100% been reheated and was vile! The chips were chewy from being reheated, the Keema naan definitely wasn't fresh and had been reheated. 90% was thrown away, the only thing eaten was the pizza that had clearly been re heated (cheese was chewy asf and not stringy) by my partner as he was too hungry to just throw it away. 100% won't be ordering from there again and now it seems I won't be using Just Eat either as they used the excuse about different restaurants having different cooking styles ahahah and refused to give a refund for food that was inedible and thrown away

We booked for a birthday. It was lovely, everything about it. The staff were really helpful and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone.

Planned a trip out to this place. Got there and it wasn’t even open even though Google said it should have been. Disappointed. 😔 (Seems I’m supposed to be a mind reader from the reply). Can only leave a review based off what I find, and when we had traveled especially to visit this place and find it shut how else am I meant to review it. 5 stars? 😆

Ten of us went from a friendship group, only a couple of other people there, so no atmosphere. Ordered meals and Drinks, one was even asked if they wanted egg or pineapple with their gammon. The meals were nice and hot but not what we ordered. No eggs, no tomatoes, no peas. Everything was substituted by tomatoless salad, not even an egg and was substituted with the pineapple which had been offered. I asked what real ale have you got. Only Banks Bitter which I had, it tasted like vinegar which they had back and with nothing else to drink. Did not want anything else but was not offered a refund. We were on a recce for our Christmas dinner, but will give this one a miss. NB Not all the meals are listed for me to include in the post

You will find everything you'd expect from motorway services. I was impressed by the number of ev charging posts provided. But the place looks old and shabby, although holding on to a good level of maintenance and cleaning.

A special thank you to one of your newest team members Kayne he was extremely polite and friendly with a happy disposition making our visit really enjoyable.

I regularly stop off for a bite to eat at Chase Gate after work. Always great food, great price, clean tables… Just a great experience all around.
