Went for a family meal. Service was sporadic, I think they need more staff. Asked for a drink with no ice, it came with loads of ice in it. Asked for jugs of water, two jugs came and my sister had to get the glasses off the bar as they weren't bought to us. My salmon was hard, I think it was over cooked, food tasted bland, pudding wasn't great, I had cheesecake, it was bland no flavour, like it had just come out of a box not home made.

Went Mother's day had set menu, was great, couldn't fault the three courses. Will return in week to try one of ehe special nights.

They don't want to give coffee for HGV food voucher. Need to buy from Wild been Coffee.

Delicious menu and beers. Friendly staff and such a lovely pub with good sized sunny beer garden.

Ten of us went from a friendship group, only a couple of other people there, so no atmosphere. Ordered meals and Drinks, one was even asked if they wanted egg or pineapple with their gammon. The meals were nice and hot but not what we ordered. No eggs, no tomatoes, no peas. Everything was substituted by tomatoless salad, not even an egg and was substituted with the pineapple which had been offered. I asked what real ale have you got. Only Banks Bitter which I had, it tasted like vinegar which they had back and with nothing else to drink. Did not want anything else but was not offered a refund. We were on a recce for our Christmas dinner, but will give this one a miss. NB Not all the meals are listed for me to include in the post

I won't be using Codsall Spice again. I ordered a really easy meal tonight tandoori mixed meat with salad!!! Firstly the driver delivered it and he asked if it was the right one. Not a good start.
