Lovely pub with fantastic staff. Hadn’t been in here before but had saw some good reviews on FB so booked a table for a Friday evening.Staff were all friendly and helpful. No problem with table service hadn’t got to order via an app like some pubs at the moment so you got personal service.Food was lovely all well cooked and presented well.Was bingo night aswell so after our food we played bingo.Lovely evening really nice pub will definitely return. Special thanks to Tina who took our order for food and drinks, very friendly and lovely

We came here for a late family lunch, the food was lovely, came out quickly and all together and our waitress Gemma was friendly and efficient, we felt very well looked after, thank you

Stuck for words.Wow wow wow1 hour 20 mins wait after ordering food from a limited menu. 2 main meals not available so chose different mealsThen 5 out of 6 meals turn up? The guy who served the table seemed confused when we asked about the missing meal and fled to the kitchen for help. Returning to say it won’t be long.5 or so mins later One of my party left the table to chase it but seemed the manager gave a list of excuses, but he then appeared with the meal and the offer of a complimentary drink and a refund. Asking if everything else was ok, my Daughter said tbh no. After such a wait and having to leave her meal to chase the order her meal was cold and didn’t think we should pay for it either, the plate was still furnished with food untouched. He then got more argumentative stating he had been busy and there was nothing wrong with the food.I then got envolved stating in my view the pub wasn’t busy and this was an excuse for inexperience and lack of staff. I quoted that a man eating on his own had food delivered to his table without cutlery so he had to go wondering around looking for some, on the verge of entering the kitchen he was dealt with.The argument between me and the Manager got heated and he asked me to leave, because I was talking over him. I said I would leave when ready and please provide me with the HQ contact and numberHe disappeared! After some time I asked a member of staff to remind him I needed the info so that we could leave.The Lady Landlord appeared with a name on the back of a receipt no phone number. On challenging her she said google it???On leaving the pub we met another party who had witnessed the confrontational event who informed us they had had the same sort of issues with waiting and missing food.I turned back to look at the landlady from a distance and she shouted across the pub have a nice evening Sir! Wow Hospitality at its finest.

Staff friendly, no atmosphere as pub was empty, food got mixed up and wasnt served as menu stated, waited a while and some food was ok but most was very over done. Over all would not return or recommend, but will say staff were lovely

Went 4/08/2020. The staff was fantastic. But sadly the food was not so good the steak and a Burger was still mooing it was that rare and bloody.We asked for just under well done. But we took the meat home and our dogs ate it. But we view it as a ruined meal the plus point was the staff was really friendly

Food was OK but meat was under cooked. Staff was nice but place was empty. They recooked the under cooked food for us but by then we was put off it by the blood running out of it

Service needs to be better here. It’s a good pub with atmosphere there but the serves is always slow regardless of how busy or quiet it is. Saturday night me and my friend came to the bar to order drinks and a blonde girl behind the bar asked who was next and looked at us and was so rude, knew we were talking to her and ignored us and walked off to serve someone else. We was standing there for a while before actually being served. Please sort this out or we won’t be coming back

Had a fantastic three course lunch started with battered mushrooms than fish and chips followed by apple pie and custard cooked to perfection the staff were so very friendly and Jane the mangeres fully recommend it will be back soon

Me and my husband had a wonderfull meal here a few days ago. Staff are so friendly, our waitress was attentive. Ive heard its just been took over by new managers, and I must say what an improvement.

Visited a couple of weeks ago with 14 family members. Half of them sent their food back. My husband's cod was still frozen in the middle and watery throughout...other family members added extras to their meals or requested no mayo for example but requests were forgotten. Hamburgers had to be sent back as they were raw and a children's pasta meal was rock hard.Avoid at all costs...a shame as the staff are lovely

Such a shame visited again tonight as I had read that there were new owners. Nothing changed. Salad warm and limp. Microwaved food. Partner took beer back 3 times. In the end we left. Table dirty when we arrived and hardly anyone in there. I have memories of when this was always busy but not anymore. That’s the last time for us. The place absolutely stunk of food although not many eating. Such a shame for our village. Get your act together and make it a good lively pub for our village. Perhaps bring knives and forks with meal and not left on a table for all to mess with. Look at the salad it should be chilled and fresh. And also is the board on wall advertising last New Year’s Eve 2019 or in preparation for 2020. Get it sorted. Put bulbs in the lights and show some care of the environment

Very rude women manger didn't get what we ordered missing food off order.Young waitress not experienced in what to do with dealing with customers complaints. The only one that was help full was the young man who come over to speak to use about the raw sausages that was serviced to a child and raw burger that I was served we was offered a refund then he walked off and never come back to sort our refund out can definitely say we will never be returning again.

Good local pub but the service can be slow at times. Think this is due to new staff and that so can’t criticise as they’re still learning. But very friendly and have deals on some of the drinks and on different days

We were given warm squash and coke with bits in the bottom of the glass. My grand daughter spilt a drink that went everywhere. After informing the staff no one came to clear it up we had to do it ourselves. After ordering our food it took over an hour to come and it wasn't even cooked. Needless to say we had a refund after being given several different reasons for poor service. Will not be going again and would not recommend to anyone!

We have been going to this pub for many years and have seen about 4 or 5 management changes. We always go with family for the Christmas Fayre meal a few days before Christmas. We were a bit dubious this year after reading a particularly bad review . I must say we were pleasantly surprised. All the courses were hot, plentiful and tasty. The waitress was very attentive and I felt that they had made a real effort. For what we paid I felt the meal was better than a few we have been to and paid a lot more for. The only tiny criticism that we made (nothing major) was that we were seated by the toilets. Them place wasn’t that’s busy so better seats were available but it wasn’t really a problem.

Have used this pub for some years and am seriously disappointed. Last twice we have been recently. Saturday night not many people there. Ordered lentil and vegetable lasagne. Both time a dollop of lasagne in dish. Not presented well. Microwaved to death. Dried up salad obviously left standing for some hours. No one came to check if meal ok so ate it as was hungry. One man rolling around the pub. Singing karaoke badly swearing and pinching decorations to give to a group of girls who were drinking heavily. Really really gone down hill. Such as shame as it really could be a good local. Shan’t be going again. Needs a refurb urgently and some policing of customers. Fred to think what New Year’s Eve will be like

Pulled on the car park of this establishment,hoping for a spot of lunch. Landlady came straight out and told my son in law to move his car. When asked why she told him it was private parking and she'd get the car clamped. My daughter told her she should talk to people properly, only to be told to fxxk off. She used these words on numerous occasions. Also told my daughter she was a fat fxxxxxg slag,she is in fact heavily pregnant. This landlady needs a lesson in customer relations,she's a disgrace. Pub also has dog mess around kids play area. Defiantly will never use this place,definite miss

Had a mixed grill. Was really enjoying it until I bit something hard, took it out of my mouth to find hard red plastic. Member of staff called who took it to the kitchen... chef said it was part of the egg white that had gone crispy!! But they rectified the situation offering money back on the meal and a free pudding. While staff there found another piece... very sharp plastic definitely wasnt egg but both pieces were taken away before I took pictures. Hasn't put me off as food was served hot and tbh I think the situation was handled well.

Friday 12:30 and it was almost empty and I wondered why as last year it would have been rammed. When meal came after a long wait my steak and ale pie's pastry was extremely hard, the meat inside was 'grissley' cheap meat. The waitress (not very welcoming or cheery) offered to return it when she did her obligatory check but I didn't want to wait another 40 minutes so I left the pastry. No wonder places like this are closing at an average of 4 a week. If Wetherspoons can do it why can't places like this? Needless to say after years of enjoying this place it will be the last.

The New inns changed owners some time this year and when we visited it in the summer we weren't too impressed, although to be fair we hadn't had a meal. We received an e_mail from Marstons offering a discount on food so thought we would give it a try. Overall I couldn't fault the mixed grill we both ordered, The ale was spot on and we were served by a pleasant and helpful waitress. We shall be coming back as regulars again.

Poped into this pub the other week.only for a quick pit stop..had an oozy floozy burger and a couple of pints..food was lovely and pint of cider was nice..no complaints..staff very friendly and helpfull

Me and my partner had lunch here on saturday, We both ordered a burger and received the amazing deal of two burgers and two drinks for only £12. We were made to feel welcome the whole time we were there and service was prompt by friendly staff. Both meals came out really quickly both nice and hot. We like the fact all of the sauces and cutlery are out to collect as you can take your pick! Overall lovely experience, lovely pub, great atmosphere and lovely staff. We will definitely be returning. We visited this pub for the 1st time since under new management. It was not busy. We waited at the bar for over 10 minutes. There was 1 bar person standing the other side the bar talking to friends. The other bar person was only being vigilant at 1 end of the bar. He saw another customer approach the bar & served them before us!!! When this was pointed out to the bar person they claimed to be on their own, which was not the case. Lazy staff who will lose this business custom in an already slow environment.

We have been going here for a few years. Cheap and generally cheerful. It took 15 mins to clean the table. My mum and me are both vegetarians and as there are quite a lot of Halloumi dishes on the menu we were both looking forward to some. When we went to the bar to order were told they didn't have any and not had any in for a while ( I was gonna ask if they wanted me to pop to Spar for some ). My mum chose a veggie pie and I decided to have a Sunday roast with cauliflower cheese tart. Alas ten minutes later I was told they didn't have this either. I said OK I would have same as my mum. Mine came but they bought my mum a steak and ale pie and we had finished ours by the time her correct order came. My son ordered cheesy chips which never came. We then spent 10 mins reversing transactions on the bill. Also the fact that you can't set up a tab is ridiculous. We will now think twice about going again.

Just popped in for some snacks to take out and didn't mind at all waiting while a gentleman with a large food order was served but when assistance was called for the young girl walked straight passed and served someone who came in after me then another when I mentioned I told her I was waiting she cut me off mid sentence and said I'm serving another customer how RUDE won't be going again !!

We had a family Sunday lunch here and it was both plentiful and satisfying. This pub serves the same wide and varied menu all day everyday. It's very good value for money and folks flock from all around the area to come and eat. If you just want a drink, sit on one side, eats on the other though there's no official division. The service is efficient and the lunch we had was hot and very tasty. Yorkshire puds are enormous and the gravy delicious. If you have a roast, it's as good as a Carvery meal. The pub has a daily offer so it's worth eating/drinking there any day of the week. We like the curry and drink offer on Wednesdays. However Unday lunch takes a bit of beating.

Me and my friends were ambushed for ID as soon as we entered the premises, although we weren’t attempting to buy alcohol. This wasn’t a problem, we assumed that no under 18s were allowed in after a certain time. However when we went inside, there were families with children who were quite obviously under 18, clearly there without an issue. the lady was rude and we were made to feel as if we were doing something wrong. My friend didn’t have her ID as she wasn’t drinking, so she walked all the way home and back again to get it. She asked the lady (who I assume was the manager) if she could just explain to us she needed to go home to get it and the lady rudely told her no.

Me and my friend both aged (20) came here out of convenience to our location this past Saturday for lunch and we’re very pleased to discover the staff were very friendly and helpful and food to a good standard , classic pub food can’t go wrong!

Last Saturday lunchtime 27/7/19 we gave The New Inn another chance, as it's the most convenient place for us. Alas the content and presentation of BLT and sandwiches was again down from the way it was under previous management. So this week we tried the next pub along, The Mount Pleasant in Wombourne. We were delighted to find that we weren't 'old-fashioned, strange or odd' in expecting cutlery, sauces and being able to start a tab - our food arrived (without our asking beforehand) with knives, forks and serviettes, plus a tray of sauces - and we were allowed to start a tab, add to our order later, and pay for everything in one go at the end. The barman came to our table and we ordered another drink and a sweet and he brought them to our table. At the end, the landlord himself asked us whether we'd enjoyed the meal. So it can be done - and customers who expect this level of service aren't 'crazy' or 'living in the past'.

Excellent lunch club deals for the day and a good place to drink in the evening. Friendly staff and a clean place, will be going again.

Large beer garden which is perfect for sunny days our with the family or friends, good drink deals for the weekend too! Would easily recommend

Had lunch today with my husband. We had roast beef when it arrived we noticed that the beef smelt like it was on the turn and tasted off. We I told the manger about my concerns ( in case it was served to other customers ) we were offered complimentary desserts but when it arrived it was just 1 to share between us. Will not be visiting again

Been here many times and always had a good meal. Went today with my brother. When meal came wasn't told you now have to get your own cutlery or condiments and had to find out where they were. The hunters chicken was really tiny, the chips overdone and the salad looked dry. We waited ages for the dessert to arrive. Wondered why the pub was almost empty and I said it must've changed hands. Looked over the front door on way out and the licence plaque had been taken down, so it has had a change of ownership. Now know why. Won't be going back!

Our first time coming here and we will return... the bar staff rob and Alex were friendly and polite, the atmosphere was very good and the food was lovely, it came out really quick and our compliments to Rhys the chef ... will defiantly recommend this place

Welcome to the new team at New Inn. We haven't been for a few weeks, but we decided to go today for Sunday lunch. Always good value, plenty to eat, with a lovely dessert. Unfortunately they'd got no apple pie or rocky road (hence only 4 stars) so there's some "teething" troubles to get over. They did let my Mom have a flake on her dessert which she asked for!! Rob and Alex seem nice friendly people, that I'm sure they will continue to keep the good reputation of the New Inn going. The Chef Krys presented the meals well, they all arrived together, not much wait, and nice and hot. We were able to reserve our table, where cutlery was provided. I'm fine with the "new" rule of getting your own cutlery and condiments. Hopefully when things have settled down, they will allow us to open a tab and pay for everything at the end of the meal.

We've been going to the New Inn in Wombourne for many years on Saturday lunchtimes. There has been a change in management recently and staff are mostly new too. They have brought in changes that may assist them, but aren't customer- friendly in our expereince.

I have lived in Wombourne for thirty years and this pub has had mixed fortunes. It needs sorting out there are no staff the waitress was running around like a headless chicken and the bar staff were slow. The food when it came was dreadful who can ruin scampi and chips, peas like bullets chips soggy and cold. I've give it a try but won't go back appreciate new staff etc but Banks need to support them not just take the money and run.

I'm been coming here ever since I can remember, over the last year this place has definitely improved the service you can't fault the food arrives in good time nice friendly atmosphere, Lee and the team have done a really good job holding the high reputation in the new inn definitely the best pub in wombourne, I came in for curry club and it was perfect they have Evan increased the size of the Naan bread, what more could you ask for, if you looking for a cozy place with some nice food and good service come on down to the new inn you won't be disappointed

Had a lovely valentines meal here today with my husband the food as always was excellent, at a reasonable price and the serving staff very pleasant I’ll definitely be coming back here again.

Good convenient pub with a good range menu. Good parking and nice interior. Excellent in the summer with good outdoor seating.

My wife and I visited New inn wombourne on Sunday 13th Jan for daughters birthday. As usual the staff was professional in there attitude. The meals arrived hot in good time quality of food was well served. I can fully recommend a visit to New inn wombourne.One last point is I have been drink mild for a good many years and tbh you won't find a better pint in wombourne..Keep up the good work guys

went out for a meal for my birthday on the 13 jan beef was so tough yourshire pudding u needed a chicel to cut through it 2 meals was sent back and reorded the chicken now the chicken was oldish took chicken home for the dogs last time I eat there staff are polite and friendly but food is awefull

We went here with family and friends.it was a wonderful night.the buffet was brilliant.lovely and fresh.lots of choice and plentiful.we had a really good night elvis was good.the end was amazing a real piper playing the new year in.

Today, we dined out at The New Inn for Christmas dinner! I can honestly say it was possibly one of the best meals eaten out in a long time! Your staff especially Matt you were on top form, seating people to their tables and showing fantastic organisation skills in managing and maintaining a professional manner! you've made our day the most enjoyable yet. Meals were perfectly presented and weren't rushed. Thank you for your hospitality. Would highly recommend!

Visited at lunch time not particularly busy at all. Ordered from the light bite menu which took over AN HOUR to arrive at the table having had to chase it. It’s a big pub.. god knows how they would cope if it was busy!

Went to this pub today 7/10/18 with 5 friends we all had a lovely meal &the; service was lovely an friendly but 2 of us ordered the Sunday roast we was asked if we wanted the desert which is only £3:00 if you have the roast dinner both of us wasn't sure if we could eat the desert but was told we can order it later if we wanted it .But when went to order we was told we had to pay the wright price ,when we complained he said well i'm the manager & you have to order the desert at the same time .He wasn't very nice about it so i wouldn't recommend the place . I think that manager should go for some retraining i was not impressed with his attitude.

My Family and myself celebrated my sons 5th birthday on Friday 24/8/18.

In 3 toilets with 6 dispensers not one had toilet roll. Over flowing ladies bin and hand dryer didn't work. Same in mens. With such sloppy standards did not fancy eating there. Shame as looked like be nice. Just laziness.

Specials nights food especially Curry Wednesday is good value. Always a friendly crowd whether with friends or family.

Have used The New Inn many times over the years and always enjoyed good meals. However, standards have fallen. Six of us visited on 2nd June and selected a variety of different meals. Meat dishes were dry and bland and appeared to have been microwaved making them dry and tasteless. On a positive side bar staff were friendly and efficient but the lack of clients on a Saturday is probably a reflection of fall in standards.

Party of four just been for a lunchtime meal at the New Inn and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of the menu. We all ordered off the lunchtime special menu and WOW !! Good portions and really tasty meals. Great service and well kept real ales. Would recommend to all visiting or locals in the area to pay a visit. Will deffo be back !! Keep up the good work guys and see you soon !!

Disappointed at the rowdy drinkers ( two old blokes who are in there every time I go, I think they go in daily to stretch a pint over several hours watching the telly and reading the paper) swearing loudly puts me off eating there and someone commented to me as well about it last time. The serving lady also looks totally miserable and does not make you feel welcome. Food not terrific or much of it, have found other local pubs better like the Hinksford Arms or the Round Oak in Ounsdale road much much better atmosphere.

Food was cold, waiters are friendly, BUT there’s a man behind the bar with a moustache and he made me very uncomfortable because he looked very angry and I found it very hard to approach him as he gave me very moody dirty looks and didn’t crack a smile once. Would not recommend it here unless you want to be given dirty looks and sit uncomfortably.

We travelled from Burnham on sea to meet up with the wife's three sisters for one of the older sister's 80th birthday. A good selection of food at reasonable prices. Service was quick and the food's presentation looked really good. My wife and I ordered the curry dish which came with, rice, chips, nan bread, papodom and chutney. It was a long way to travel for a birthday lunch, but well worth the effort to meet up with the family.

During my visit i was with my 11 week old daughter, my friend and her 2 children. The staff made us feel like dirt by the way they treated us. One oldish guy behind the bar walked straight past serving me (even though no1 else was waiting) whilst i waited 2 get a bottle warmer. He kept looking over at us in a rude manner. The waitress was also sharp wih us and didnt engage with us. Didnt tell us to enjoy our meals or anything. She didnt smile and was huffing and puffing. To say this is a family pub it didnt make us feel very welcome at all! I am a manager of a restaurant myself and found the service to be of the worst i have ever seen! Will no be returning again! Horrible unwelcoming atmosphere!

Had a buffet provided after my mother’s funeral and food was really good. Trish the manageress helped with selection and we didn’t have much left over. Very good value, would recommend it

First time visit and wasn't expecting a lot with 3 course lunch for £5.85. We were wrong large starter and pudding and good size main meal for the price. Food was fresh and hot and staff friendly. Pub decor was very nice and even tho it was a busy lunch our plates were cleared fast.Will definitely be returning.

It's a nice place to eat at. There are booths so that you can have some privacy. The food is good and hot. The staff were very friendly with a good customer service attitude. There is a good choice of wines and beers.

Popped in here in the week with a friend , never been in before and was disappointed .We opted for a starter and pudding I had a prawn cocktail which had 4 prawns in and for 3.75 wasn’t impressed oh and a slice of stale bread .

The New Inn is not perhaps the best food in Wombourne but then the prices are in line with, and...

this has never been the best pub to eat in as it has always had a bad name in one...

My brother and I called into here for lunch mid week. It was a nice pub, the surroundings were lovely, clean and welcoming. We ordered two course lunch for £4.75 with a cuppa for 0.50p. Excellent value, service and food. Will definitely go again and bring my 3 year old grandson too.

Been a regular customer at​ the New Inn for 25 years & always been fine but over the last 6 months they have gotten my bill wrong on 3 occasions​, then 2 Saturday's​ ago I was verbally abused by the manager. Certainly not going to be recommending the place!

A Friday St Patricks night in Wombourne at The New Inn. Irish band 'Damn The Weather' set the tone..The Landlord happily gave out St Patricks day hats to the customers. Some people had dressed for the occasion. The band played well (without Violins) and were well receivedeven performing some 'Rebel' songs. and a 'jolly' atmosphere ensued.There was a good mixture of young and older people and every one had a really good time.

Friendly, modern pub in a bustling village five miles from Wolverhampton. Marston's chain. Good selection of food; children's menu has plenty of choice. Good value.

Came here for a meal with my partner on a Saturday evening. Was really busy though didn't have to wait for a table as a few people were leaving just as we arrived. Ordered food and it came within 10 mins. I got Cottage Pie and it was lovely, there was enough for two people though, good sized portions so wasn't left hungry. The food was really really hot so had to wait a bit for it to cool down. Service was great and no waiting at the bar. Was quite a pleasant meal and I do think il be back at some point.

We visited The New Inn for a Christmas get together and were treated very well indeed. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel completely at home. We were a group which included three wheelchair users - so we needed plenty of room and a little more time for our festivities. I can highly recommend this pub for friendliness, quality of service and compassion. We were given the utmost respect, and the staff did everything possible to make our Christmas meal/party perfect. As wheelchair users, we all have had experience of being considered 'second class', but this was not the case at The New Inn where we were treated as first class all the way!! A BIG THANK YOU to all the management and staff.

Local pub serving food. Staff friendly and helpful, however the food was poor, steak undercooked and grisly.

Visited a few weeks ago around about 10PM after going for a meal with friends. The entire experience was awful. The atmosphere in the pub was incredibly uncomfortable. A very unwelcoming environment where the clientele seem to have the run of the establishment. Underage young teenagers in the pub after the clearly advertised times children need to vacate the premiss. Not only that they were clearly drinking alcohol. Not the kind of place I would ever visit ever again. Would recommend avoiding this place wherever possible.

We tried the special lunch menu served 12.00 - 15.00 and for only £5/6 we ate starters, main courses and a dessert. For an extra £1.00 a drink was also included. What value!All the food was served hot and just the right amount of food for a lunch.Well done The New Inn. The service at both the bar and the serving staff was spot on.

Dropped in with family for Supper after a day out in the country. Good service and portions, everyone chose their favourites or tried something new. Food came quickly and served all together so we had a good family time at our own table for five. Bar staff are very polite - what's more to ask?

Great atmosphere and good food , ideal for quick lunch when Wombourne , have new chef and seems better

Can't really grumble about this place. If you are looking for a quick drink or a quick meal this is the place to go.

Went for a late dinner, customer service was amazing! Ordered at the bar, the food was on the table within 15 minutes, tasted great. Would defiantly recommend this place to families with children, smashing enclosed play area, and games consoles inside. It's spotlessly clean, with a great mix of open and cozy corners. Will be back again soon.

Haven't been for a meal for a few weeks at the New Inns wombourne due to work commitments but I can honestly say that the service is same food quality is excellent as the last time we visited. Service with a smile from.all the staff. Been drinking Bank's Mild since a very early age and I can say the pint of Mild you get at the New Inns is as Tina Turner would say "simply the best" Well done Trish and Lee. John & Karen

We had not been to the pub for a number of years so spare of the moment decided to give it a go. It has been nicely decorated since our last visit and I have to say the food was delicious and a good price. We were a party of 6 and all of us really enjoyed the food. The served us quickly and the bar staff were efficient and friendly, The waitress asked us twice if everything was ok and was quick to clear our plates when we were finished. We will not be waiting another couple of years for our next visit, we will most certainly be returning.

Another great Sunday lunch ,staff always friendly and can't beat the price very reasonable , will definitely be going back for more

We stopped enroute from Middlesbrough! Lovely meal! My daughter wasn't happy with her meal! We didn't complain! The landlady came over like a shot! Had noticed, and rectified things! Service personified

Well where do we start...?. Trish & lee in our opinion run a really great pub , that is friendly , with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Forget about any negative reviews, we really love our local . We would not swap this pub for any other .you must try out this pub,especially on a Wednesday (curry night) great value good food .you will love it!!!!!!!We are hard to please , but here we love!!!!!! Great looking establishment after the refurbishment, pleasant wait staff. Bar man could do with a bit of a cheer up and menus are falling apart.Food was OK apart from being served in what seemed like a dog bowl, you don't get much for your money but it was served quickly.Would go again but just for a quick dinner.

Part of the Marston's group so connoisseurs of this chain will know what to expect. This was a bank holiday visit and was very busy. Waited over an hour for a table and had to dive on a table as soon as it became available. The menu offers a good selection of pub grub at reasonable prices. The pub is geared towards families and is very child friendly. My son particularly liked the ps4/x box centre they had set up there. Enjoyed the meal and use the pub just for drinks sometimes on an evening at the weekend . Spacious and clean. It does get busy so if dining be prepared to wait a while for a table.

Ok for taking children to at lunch time if there is nowhere else to go - chips with everything - but nothing special, to say the least.

We went as a family of 6 for a meal on Easter Sunday. My son who lives in Wombourne went down to book the table.Mangement reserved the table put two tables together.None of us had a complaint about the meal which ranged from steak mega grill hunters chicken and Happy ever after which was a choice of vegetable curry and vegetable lasagne. All meals were well cooked and present. We will definitely return.Looking forward to when we can go in the summer and I can sit on the giant deckchair and sit in the beach hut outside

Decided to have a easter Sunday treat today. Popped into the pub around 7pm with my other half. We both ordered a mega breakfast, when it arrived the bacon wasn't cooked enough, egg whites could have been done for a few more minutes, chips again needed a few more minutes. When the waitress asked if everything was OK we just mentioned about the bacon. She came back with 2 small easter eggs for compensation. We could have understood if the pub was busy and the chef was rushed off his feet, it was empty. If this is anything to go by no wonder there's 1 pub a week closing down.

We need a quick lunch so never having been before decided to try The New Inn. Service was excellent and the staff very friendly. The food was fine and we found it good value not being expensive at all. A few families with children around inside and outside but they were enjoying themselves so that was nice. We would certainly go again.
