Table was booked for an 80th birthday party. The food was wonderful The service was first class. 10 people were served very efficiently and with a smile. Would highly recommend. Thank you all.

Came today for the carvery having not been here before. The service and tables were good and what you'd expect from a local pub, and good of the pub to seat 11 of us all at one long take. The carvery was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Good choices of meats and loads of different veg - the roast potatoes were a highlight! I didn't have room for any pudding but a few others on the table had them and they looked pretty impressive. Definitely coming back soon!

Lovely friendly place along the canal, roast & homemade desert at a really affordable price what a little gem that place is, the only place of the few we tried, who kindly managed to squeeze 3 of us in for lunch with no bookings on a Mother's Day Sunday, we really appreciated it, thank you!

Brilliant little BCA pub in the High Street. Its dog friendly larger than it looks and has changed a lot in 40 years. At least they had a dark ale on have had . else where. Then on to 3 others that all tasted the same with a pungent taste spoiling what should have been decent ales. Hopefully new gaffer will sort and make it the best pub in the village again.

Victoria was amazing throughout our meal! The best service I have had anywhere in a while. Food was really good and relaxed atmosphere! Highly recommend!

The food was not cooked to our liking the veg was had.

Table at 6 p.m, orders not taken until 6:20, meals served at 6:50. Sunday roast was sent back to be warmed up and roast potatoes old and chewy. Fish was thin and soggy. Chicken Forestiere returned for refund as inedible. Was our 51st wedding anniversary celebration. Not a good experience.

A belated birthday celebration for myself and my husband accompanied by our son and daughter who loved the decor. My husband and I were given a birthday prosecco which was very much appreciated and enjoyed. The food was all well presented and well cooked. We all enjoyed our meals but the highlight was the attentive and friendly staff, all with smiles on their faces

Been coming here for 8 years now give or take a few months and I have eaten most of the menu during that time, I have to say I have not had a bad meal yet. Yes they do pre-cook food in order to make your order quicker. Delicious.
