We had a lovely Sunday lunch, staff were really friendly especially Kerrie who looked after us! Great food - will be visiting again!

Great service and lunch was excellent as always, shame I can’t remember the name of the lovely waitress that served us.

In January we discovered by accident that The Vine was open for coffee on a Sunday morning...then that they did brunch! What a find! Great coffee, super food...lovely atmosphere and staff who are friendly, welcoming and professional...nothing too much bother! We are now regulars!!!

We booked for a family of 7, they were able to accommodate for us, the food the was fantastic, service was stream less and the service staff were friendly!

We had a beef Sunday roast and it was great. Pudding was a white and orange chocolate honeycomb bomb with vanilla ice cream again very nice. Overall left very happy and will definitely be visiting again. Our waitress kelly was lovely very friendly and bubbly. Visited a second time on valentines day and wasn't happy with the organisation. We was seated in the bar erea with people and their dogs for a 3 course valentines meal.The nice tables with candles were all busy but we had pre booked. Apparently people were staying longer than expected after eating. We had to wait at the bar for ages to get a better table. I think a simple time limit of maybe 1.5 hours is plenty to eat and would avoid these problems.

Absolutely everything! Food was great atmosphere was lovely, staff were absolutely spot on too. Brilliant experience. Accommodated vegan & gluten free meals without fuss or bother.

This is such a beautiful pub and the food is absolutely delicious. Our server Victoria was fantastic and went above and beyond for us.

We came to The Vine for lunch as a big group of fourteen to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. A lovely table had been set up for us and we were looked after by Victoria who did a superb job co-ordinating everyone’s meals and ensuring that we all had drinks when we needed them. A really lovely experience which we all enjoyed!

Came in today with my partner had some beautiful food. I must admit the service was about standing. I cannot fault Victoria she was absolutely out of this world. You are an amazing waitress and lovely person.

We had the most wonderful time this afternoon; Victoria is an absolute credit to the team. She was so friendly and bubbly, and nothing was too much trouble. This is the type of service that makes you feel just a bubbly for the rest of the day :) We both had the specials, Leek & Potato soup followed by Chicken and Mushroom Pie with veg and spring onion mash. I haven’t tasted pie this good since a trip to the Pie Factory over 10 years ago. Superb!!

Stacey, our server, was very friendly, personal, polite and professional, a credit to Vintage Inns. Unfortunately, the initial greeting was quite poor, in particular from the gentleman with the beard making coffees (manager?). He glanced at us several times did not smile or acknowledge us. He did not even say “hello, someone will be you shortly “ he, unlike Stacey, is not a credit to Vintage Inns.

A fantastic meal at our local. Havent been for a while, but we will definitely not be leaving it this long next time. Ashleigh was amazing! So welcoming and chatty! Cant wait to return already!

While we have been to The Vine many times over the years we haven't been for quite a while, so thought we would give it another go tonight.There seemed to be a few new faces with the waiting staff including the lady who served us Ashleigh who said she had only been there a few months. But fairly new or not Ashleigh was superb !!! Not only was she extremely polite and lovely to talk to be she was also very attentive and it really felt like she was genuinely interested in making sure you had a really nice experience and enjoyed your food and your evening.So she was an easy 10 out of 10 as far as the service goes 🙏👍😁 !!! As for the food, well we have had a lot of disappointing meals that have cost a lot of money over the last year or so at different places, so we have been left feeling a bit let down and a bit done over when paying the bill ☹️ But this was a huge exception tonight because we both had 3 courses and chose different dishes and both of us gave another easy 10 out of 10 which I don't give lightly so "Big Compliments" to the chefs Dave and Olly what you turned out for us tonight was superb !!!! The prawn and scallop started was lovely, the belly pork and pie was lovely and the desserts of pavlova and the choux bun were excellent so hats off to Dave and all your team 🙏🙏

I had slight problem with my dish but staff member sorted things out, all the rest of the meals family members ate were exceptional , really is worth the visit. Well done , service is second to none.

Meal was excellent 👌 the service from the waitress( I am sorry I forgot to get her name) was excellent nothing was too much trouble and she made us all feel welcome. It was a large party and she dealt with us all very well. Will definitely be going back soon.

We were a party of 17, most food was brilliant unfortunately I had a bad bit of ribe eye steak very grissly but the servers who attended us made sure we did not pay for that specific meal all other food was lovely and the young lady who served us we cannot remember her name she had pigtail plaits was exemplary and very attentive and helpful all night thank you very much.

The food is always very good and the service is quick. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of parking spaces. However, the temperature inside is very, very cold and you have to dress warmly to avoid freezing. The prices of the menus have risen sharply.

We visited on boxing day, the venue, atmosphere, service and staff were great. The food however was not great, pretty sure it was microwaved Christmas day leftovers. The roast potatoes were awful, couldn't actually cut them. The crumble was burnt actually black on top, I'd be embarrassed to serve it at home let alone in a restaurant. I'd have complained at the time but my parents had treated us and they didn't want to say anything. Looking at other people's photos of the food at other times it looks amazing, maybe boxing day is not a good time to visit (although when paying more you'd hope it would still be good).

Went with 4 friends on boxing day, been many times before and food has always been good. However, whilst my friends enjoyed their meals sadly mine was disappointing. I had root vegetable wellington which was passable - although not a wellinton more a slice - but carrotts, parsnips and potato were rubbery and tasteless. My crumble was way too hard. Whilst usually buzzy the atmosphere was fairly flat. I wondered if this was because the food had deteriorated.
