average food stuff like toasties, breakfast baps and omelettes e.g. Nice cakes however cash only is a bit annying.

Unfortunately walked into this hell hole, never again. There was LGBTQ+ community that thought it was acceptable to “FLASH” their phallus in the middle of bar while children present. The locals just seemed to laugh and thought it was acceptable. VULGAR.

Visited here for a quick drink. Beautiful pub, lovely and cosy. Quick and friendly staff. Will visit again soon.

Had a takeaway meal, we had to collect there is no delivery. Meal was delicious and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the bratwurst, chips and larger. Reasonably priced. Would recommend and will definitely go back

Had a medical appt nearby and saw their flyer. Intrigued so popped in as thought it would be somewhere new to try but wanted to see it before inviting others. Never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome at any other bar in my life, most off-putting. Hopefully the lady serving was just having an off day, we all have them I guess. Didn't return; reviews suggest it's better than my experience.

Great Chinese Restaurant we booked very last minute. Were told available table but very busy and may have to wait. Made very welcome on arrival and shown to our table. Ordered drinks and food which came very quickly to say they were busy with both tables and takeaways. Lovely food all served hot and large portions. Overall a very nice dining experience and will definitely return.

Under new management for past 4 weeks. Nikki and her crew are welcoming and very accommodating. Freshly made sandwiches with side salad garnish and home made soup for a light lunch, all prepared and beautifully presented. Lovely tidy and clean place to visit. We will be returning. Very friendly bar staff and atmosphere. Prices are great too! Marie looked after us very well. Will definitely be back

Go there frequently for a pint with mates

Brilliant little BCA pub in the High Street. Its dog friendly larger than it looks and has changed a lot in 40 years. At least they had a dark ale on have had . else where. Then on to 3 others that all tasted the same with a pungent taste spoiling what should have been decent ales. Hopefully new gaffer will sort and make it the best pub in the village again.

Been coming here for 8 years now give or take a few months and I have eaten most of the menu during that time, I have to say I have not had a bad meal yet. Yes they do pre-cook food in order to make your order quicker. Delicious.

Walked in for a take away….initially ignored at the desk…informed of a wait..fair enough. Collected the food…awful. Stodgy rice, dry chicken, noodles terrible…..non of it appeared particularly fresh. Will not return. Much better elsewhere. Very very disappointing indeed..

I have always found Swan good value , good pub grub. Went for Xmas Fayre menu at £30.95 this was expensive for the quality of the meal! Cold . Hard sprouts no parsnips undercooked pigs in blankets … no very good at all . Not sure if there’s been a change of cooks but not a patch on what it was!
