Cakes, Bakes & Milkshakes & Bistro in South Staffordshire

Had a takeaway meal, we had to collect there is no delivery. Meal was delicious and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had the bratwurst, chips and larger. Reasonably priced. Would recommend and will definitely go back

Ed and his team offer one of the best Sunday lunches we have tasted, we have had one every week since lockdown and will continue to order when out of this lockdown.

Excellent value for money. Bored of staying in and lockdown. Heard about Sunday lunch boxes. Ordered on Tuesday as I had heard they sellout fast! We chose beef, the other choice was turkey. Collected as arranged and didn’t have to wait long. The beef was plentiful with a massive Yorkshire. Mounds of vegetables, loads of choice. Mashed and roast potatoes and a pot of tasty gravy. Our plates were cleared, nothing left. The meat was tender and the veggies were fresh and not overcooked. Very tasty, well worth £7.50. No more carveries for us.

I went in today to get a few slices of cake to drop off at my elderly 91 mother in laws house in Acton Trussell , I saw Cakes bakes and milkshakes was open even though it was Easter Sunday . I asked for 4 pieces of cake and two scotch eggs . I tried to strike a conversation with the man who was cooking Sunday dinners for deliveries , he didn’t even acknowledge me I asked him twice about the scotch eggs , he eventually answered me in an abrupt manner , the young girl served me and I asked for two slices of chocolate cake two brownies and two scotch eggs to take away . £15.00 yes £15.00 for 4 pieces of cake and two scotch eggs !!!!!! The cakes were dry and tasteless and not home made as the girl said . And the service was impolite and not curteous at all . A complete rip off and I won’t be going there again !!!!!

We visited the Bistro 07/02/20 We weren't expecting the quality that we had, first class service, beautifully presented, freshly prepared starters & mains, each of our mains were different dishes, all arrived on time, and freshly cooked to a standard that surpasses anything in the surrounding area, I'd thoroughly reccomend that you try this place before you can't get in!.
