A good Donna should have a nice sear on the Donna, so I was disappointed to see shortcuts been taken for speed over quality. I also found the Donna to be greasy and portions smaller than other chip shops. Not my usual chip shop as I chose to adventure out further to my disappointment.

My first visit , new to area . I had 2 large fish last night it was a bit busy and my food was absolutely amazing and delicious 😋 . Staff are friendly. Recommend this place .👍

Good Customer Service but food is poor, it used to be good when reopened from Covid but the food gets worse to the point I won’t use it again

Gone from being one of the best chip shops around to one of the worst in a spell of a year. I didn't mind paying the pricy menu when the food was top noch. However, it's fallen to the point I now no longer use. The chipshop itself looks very moden and has always looked clean. Parking can be a nightmare at busy times

Everything you would expect from a busy shop like this one. Staff very friendly and my order was ready when I arrived as I had phoned in earlier. The fish and chips was well cooked and very tasty indeed. I can thoroughly recommend as a very satisfied customer! Laraine

Only they shut early and don't have anything left only scraps. Also 4 pieces of chicken and cone of chips £10. Wouldn't cost that much at home.

A long time favourite of myself and my family. The quality is always spot-on and the counter staff do an excellent job of keeping the queue flowing.

£4.90 for "large" chips is outrageous. Especially when they added salt and vinegar, and it's still stale and bland. Thought they'd be more fresh when ordering from within 10 minutes of opening. They were disgusting.

Great food and whenever I have been in with my mates the staff have seemed great. I cant say much about service as I have only been in there to buy/collect myself once and I’ve only given food 4 stars as I only ever have the same thing so can’t really rate it, but that of course means that what I have is nice as I keep coming back to it.

Went here for chicken and chips... Food was good. What is bothering me is that after salt was put on my food and wrapped, another person came along, and said there were too many chips and proceeded to open my order and remove half of the chips. She then put them back in with the other chips If she does this Infront of customers, what sort of thing goes on behind the scenes. If I had not already paid, I would have walked out.

Had fish and chips pulled the batter off the fish it was yellow left that had a few chips within an hour I was on the toilet for nearly an hour upset stomach👎👎👎 please give this place a miss

Had fish and chips twice (haddock) which were cooked fresh and were large and very tasty. This shop is expensive compared to others but once you have eaten from here you will understand why.

Very very disappointing over £15 for a mini fish and chips and the 2 smallest pieces of chicken and chips ever known with a small peas and battered mushrooms chips were nice fish and peas had no taste chicken was dry and old won’t ever be going back portion sizes were tiny feel absolutely robbed

First time used this chippy and definitely the last, batter on the fish was rock hard fish inside not much better. The chips were awful mostly bits, the ones I did eat were terrible chewy. Would not recommend this chippy to anyone .

Great chippy, wife said this was the best fish she had from any chipshop. Friendly service and the offer card payment over £3 which some local ones don't offer card payment at all. I hardly carry cash around anymore

Passing through the area and popped in here for something to eat. Fantastic food , very hot and tasty. Polite staff, no waiting around served straight away. Highly recommend this establishment.

Great tasting, hot, delicious food. Its somewhat different to your standard chip shop. Was my first time at this chippy, and I can say its 1 of the best chippys ive visited. 10/10

Overpriced and poor quality fish that had partially soggy uncooked batter. chips were nothing special either.

Always excellent gluten free chips. Really lovely staff. Worth a try if you have allergies, intolerance to certain foods or vegan as the chips are cooked separately from other foods in the shop. Thank you. Separate chips cooked Thurs, Fri and Sat. Ask in shop, they are always helpful.

Not been here since pre pandemic, and will not be coming again either!!!! Buy at your peril. What a complete waste of money. Purchased these today, approx 1.10pm so a good 50 mins before closing time. Chips were rock hard, seems as thought they’ve been cooked several times over, and left for some unsuspecting customer. Gone in the bin where they deserve. See picture.

One of the best chips shops around. THE CHICKEN is on another level. I have saved this location on my Google maps and will happily detour to get lunch from here. Great staff Great prices 10/10 Highly recommend.

Had Cod and a cone of chips it was disappointing, the Cod was not Cod it was a light gray in colour it was disgusting went in the Bin never again YUK😷

Popped in here tonight for tea NEVER AGAIN absolutely disgusting meal. Had Roe, chips and curry sauce. Chips were reheated (and I say that loosely) yesterdays chips, curry sauce was so runny and Roe was burnt round edges underneath the batter. If I could have been bothered to travel back from Perton i would have taken them back. 😡😡😡😡

The chips here are always fresh and tasty. Best chippy around now that King Cod in Pendeford have increased their prices and decreased the quality.

This fish and chip shop is spotless. The customer service is second to none. Off street parking is available. There is an extensive range to pick from with a number of dietary needs catered for. The floor, walls and cooing area is incredibly clean and well organised. If you fancy a good value fish and chip meal pay them visit.

Soggy chips and over battered fish. Unlike Birches Bridge to be fair but not good on Wednesday.

I loved it, the fish is amazing. When I got to a fish and chip shop, sometimes its not GREAT. But this was absolutely AMAZING.

The owner of this establishment and the others in which she owns is rude and horrible, she picks and chooses her favourite staff leaving them with no shifts some times, she gets annoyed because of her staff and education in which they can't help and will not help them out or work around, frankly worst chippy I've been too

Have used this shop for 30 years and it is the best one around for miles. Always have and always will go there, as will my family. Staff are fantastic as is all the food, hence the rewards they often get! A great family run business.
