Always very high quality. Pricy, but you certainly get what you pay for.

Firstly the chips are really nice, but when arrived they were all stuck like glue, may be better packaging of food. I ordered mix meat and it's nothing special, certainly better places out there locally. Lastly the price you are paying is a joke. £5 for large chips & £8.50 for a kebab, how do you sleep at night.

Fish and chips, rather expensive but yummy. Service was excellent, in and out in 5 minutes, easy parking, now that's a bonus.

Not good do remember how bad it was when i ordererd last time and how bad it was and stopped ordering and its been a while and uve been told the prizes are way over prized big time

Regular chips is £3 sossige and chips is nearly £8 so for a sossige it's like £5 fair enough you get choice of peas or curry but the prices are way off chips are nice though good 👍

The food quality is beyond expectations. Compared to other fish and chip shops the portion size is a bit smaller and price a little higher but the quality is far better. People in the shop are nice, service with a smile and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great chip shop, with great freshly cooked food. Consistantly achieving yearly awards for its high standards and good food. Years ago, we used to go to the Bilbrook chippy but followed this manager to the 'Codsall Chippy', following his high standards and tasty high-quality award winning food. All would agree he's a lovely, friendly, approachable manager. The other staff are nice too. It is the best chippy in the area, in my opinion. Our favourite choices are the pukka pies, fish, and freshly cooked to order burgers/quarter pounders ( please ask as you go in & they cook them to order), also of course,..chips, and curry sauce. We highly recommend this 'Codsall Chippy'.

Fantastic fish and chip shop. A credit to the area. Great prices and food is always spot on. Plenty of parking, including two disabled bays just to the side of the chipshop itself

Good food, freshly cooked, probably a little on the expensive side, a mini fish, chips and peas in a tray, over £8. However to be fair it was very tasty.

They always provide excellent food to the locals and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend to anyone who's after a chippy tea.

Fish was excellent for all people. Small fish is good for small eaters. A large cod can easily do for 2 people when split in half however if you want a Large cod’s to yourself make sure you are a big eater. Chip portions are big. Fair to say this is well worth an extra few minutes in the car.

The best fish around And when you ask for a large fish you get a large fish Perfectly cooked as well

Overpriced and over rated. The food is atrociously high and the food mediocre. The staff were their saving grace. If it wasnt for them. They would have got one star. Definitely don't waste your money.

Beautiful, nice big piece of fried haddock, not the pathetic small/trimmed portions you seem to get in most places these days. Best I've had in a while.

My mother recently had fish & chips here, and hasn’t stopped talking about how nice they were since. She is very particular, quite a fussy eater and has high standards regarding food. She hasn’t commented on how decent a chip shop is for years . She insists I attend myself soon, try them out and bring her fish and chips home also. Moms glad to of discovered the quality, I look forward to a visit soon.

Just got back from having early evening fish and chips from Codsall Fish Bar with a mate of mine, and we both found the fish, chips and curry sauce to be absolutely fantastic in every way, the staff tremendously friendly too. But what topped it all was when i opened my fish and chips a little over eagerly a lot fell out along with some of the fish. The proprietor very quickly offered to replace my food, and did so without any further cost. An act of true generosity, and he is a gentleman. Brilliant service and quality. Rob.C

Though there are a few chip shops that are nearer to us, this our go-to chippy. Freshly cooked food, friendly service and great tasting chips. They definitely put the cod in Codsall, but also do Haddock and Plaice, if you fancy a change.

From Codsall fish bar sometimes you get the meal your ordered, warm and tasty however on numerous occasions I have not received the food I ordered and I have also received cold and undercooked food. The quantity and quality of food served definitely doesn’t match the price you pay - even if you get the warm, correct food. Staff need further customer service training. Better fish bars in the area (Birches Bridge)

Codsall Fish Bar is my go to chippy. Hand on heart I can say their foods is THE best!! Food is always fresh,piping hot and delicious. And the staff are fabulous and friendly. They also do soo much for the community. Can’t fault them.

Used codsall fish bar for a bulk order for a charity fundraiser. Andy (the owner) was brilliant before the event- really fast communication, offered cutlery and gave us a very reasonable price! On the night- collection was smooth, food was ready in time, very generous portions and everyone raved about the quality! Thankyou to the whole team!!

So happy I did not drive 'pastie'. I 'cod' hardly believe the quality of the food before my 'pies'. Andy and his superb team have never fished for compliments or tried to 'curry' favour, so don't 'fritter' away your cash and 'peas' pay a visit to the best Chippie in Cod-sall!

Fantastic chip shop, fish is fresh with white flesh not grey, beautifully cooked with great batter that's filled end to end with fish. Chips tasty and not too greasy. The staff are so nice, manager is great and the serving girls are friendly and very efficient. Clean shop. Couldn't fault anything. Today was our second meal from here and it was as good as the last time. Recommend you try this place

A fantastic chip shop, right in the heart of the village. The food is excellent, the place is spotlessly clean and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. We always try an pop in when we are working in the area and the chicken kebab meat, chips and salad is always my first choice and I highly recommend it. Keep up the great work guys, Jimmy 👍

A generously sized piece of cod, nice crispy batter and fairly chunky chips, but the curry sauce was a bit disappointing. And it's expensive - over £10 for just fish and chips.

Definitely the best place for fish & chips in codsall Andy’s mixed kebabs are amazing.

By far the best chippy around, i drive past half a dozen from Bushbury to here as the food is that good, the fish,chips and their sausage, staff are friendly, service nifty, try them you won't regret i promise!!

Used to use it till 8 years ago when it changed hands. First time been in since its changed hands again, this time for the better. Well worth trying out.

First time ever using this place . Hubby and I shared the mixed chicken meat on naan. Son had fish and a sausage depending on his mood. He ate the Sausage ( I don’t eat pork) and enjoyed it. Fish and meat were amazing . I didn’t choose the Donner as it looked like green bits like herbs and I don’t like the taste of that ( had it elsewhere. ) the mixed chicken meat was so nice best I’ve tasted in wolves . Chips portion were on the tiny side but not moaning as when I go it’s after getting weighed so probably shouldn’t even be visiting anyway so ssshhhhhhh. They don’t do Chinese curry which is fine but I do prefer their curry pot but thats just preference . Will defo be back Wednesday after weigh day lol

Every time i go to Codsall Fish Bar i give Andy and the girls a really awkward order. Everytime they have got it bang on, never missed anything off and everything is always correct. Food is amazing, always freshly cooked and so tasty, Andy and the staff do an amazing job and nothing is ever to much to ask for ! We only ever eat from here Thankyou so much

Certainly the best fish we have had in recent years. Always cooked fresh - and the standard size cod is huge - we call it a “whale on a plate”. It’s our go-to fish shop. Staff are always very friendly - accompanied by a warm welcome from Andy on each visit.
