Under new management for past 4 weeks. Nikki and her crew are welcoming and very accommodating. Freshly made sandwiches with side salad garnish and home made soup for a light lunch, all prepared and beautifully presented. Lovely tidy and clean place to visit. We will be returning. Had our first Christmas dinner Delivered from here, l have got to say l could not fault it from starters, main meal and puddings, delivered pipping hot and presentation was 100%. Thank you Paul and your team you took the hassle out of cooking for me so l was able to sit and engage with my family instead of in my kitchen. Well worth the money and will see you all soon, thank you 🎄🎅

Been today first time, for a family birthday meal. Can not fault the food or the service. What a lovely place to relax and have a meal. Will definitely be going again and price was fab

Our party of four were warmly welcomed to this spacious and airy venue, and chose a table next to a large window. We chose our meal from the menu, and it was served promptly by a very friendly and efficient waitress, Tanya. The food was delicious, being well-presented and tasty. We had different desserts, which were also excellent. The lack of any background music enhanced the dining experience, and we are looking forward to visiting again. The venue is open 10am to 3pm seven days per week. Highly recommended.

I went for a meal on the 5th of Oct 2023 I was very Disappointed I had a baguette and chips both had strands of hair in it I didn't eat it and it put the people I was with of their lunch I was very dissatisfied

Where I live, good selection of food at reasonable price.

Hidden gem in Penkric. Sunday lunch is excellent, reasonable choice and reasonable price too. Very pleasant surroundings and view onto brook. Young staff, very helpful and obliging, nothing too much trouble.

Two course lunch. Meat on plate and veg in dishes. A good idea as you can fill your own plate. Friendly staff and wonderful seating area

Came in for a couple of drinks in the afternoon, served by a lovely waitress and have nothing bad to say about this restaurant.

We visit here some Wednesday evenings for Fish Chips & Mushy peas, at £4.50 it's a bargain. It is in a care home but it's comfortable and everyone's friendly. They also have a licenced bar. Wednesday is Fish & Chips night from 5 to about 6.30. The young staff are very friendly and efficient. Not many know about it yet but it's becomming popular so try it on a Wednesday or for an afternoon tea and scon you won't be disapointed.

Edgar's Restaurant & Bar serves excellent, freshly-cooked food in truly immaculate surroundings. There is a beautifully-furnished reception area and TV lounge, the dining room is spacious and superbly appointed, and there is an elevated dining balcony with an open aspect overlooking the Penkridge Brook. The owners and staff are friendly and obliging. This hidden jewel is well worth a visit.
