Avoid this pub and the brewery that owns it. They ripped me off, HMRC have been informed about the way they operate and pay staff cash to avoid paying tax and national insurance. Tye kitchen is in a terrible state not fit to serve food. The police are watching the pub due to drink drivers constantly drinking in the pub and the. Driving home. I urge people to proceed with caution

First visit, lovely friendly place. Made to feel very welcome. Food excellent, well prepared and presented, good portions, go with a good appetite. Can recommend fish served with chips, peas, curry sauce and tartare sauce also lasagna with salad and garlic bread. Certainly with a visit.

I'm so disappointed with valentines night at the Manor Arms. On arrival, we noticed a number of empty tables, so we expected to be able to get seated quite quickly. We were told to go and have a drink in the bar while they got our table ready and then had to wait for 1 hour before I enquired whether our table was ready yet? We waited another 30 minutes before our amuse bouche was served. When we finally got our starters and main course they were delicious. The chef is clearly very talented. And to be fair the staff are all very friendly. However I don't understand why they can't cope with the number of customers. Surely they need to make sure when people book tables that they can meet the demand or limit the numbers to ensure everyone can be seated and served within a reasonable time. If they can just fix this system, it would have been a very enjoyable evening. This last time we went here for a meal was for my husbands birthday and again we waited almost 1 hour to sit at our table.

Update Jan 2025: Back to inconstant fish :-(. Absolute rank grey waterty fish served tonight by the older guy. Fish and chips greasey and soggy, bit of a weird taste. Will wait until the summer until Andreas will be back. Feel a bit sick from excessive oil. Update May 2024: Andreas has just smashed it out of the park. I’ve just had the best fish and chips of my life. Upton chippy is back baby. Massive chunky fish, amazing chips! Review from 2013 Chips always good but cod is so hit and miss. You go one month and the fish is white chunky flakes, so good that you go back again, and then the cod is thin, grey watery rubbish. If they could improve consistency, then it would be 5*, but these days for £9.20 its not worth the risk of a getting a wet grey disappointment.

We were part of the visiting company for a play, and we booked a table for between shows on a matinee day. Time in-between shows was limited, as we had to get ready for the evening performance. We were very much looking forward to a nice meal in pleasant surroundings. However, although our first course arrived quickly, we then waited one hour and ten minutes for the main course to appear. When it did, it was lukewarm and quite frankly, tasteless. We had only ten minutes to eat it. We expressed our concern about the time we had to wait, but to no avail. The Restaurant Supervisor/Manager, who was present at the start of our meal, suddenly vanished, and instead, sent a young waitress to deal with the situation; (which she did badly).

Stayed for two nights with a group of car enthusiast. And a great weekend it was thanks to Dan and his staff. Excellent location, good accommodation, relaxed atmosphere, catered for all changes that you get from a mix of 20 people and excellent food for everyone served efficiently. Many of our group have asked to come back next year. It was a 5 Star stay but: I so wanted to give the hotel 5 Stars but the pre-booking and customer contact services are woeful. Various people in the group contacted the hotel with queries and changes and were regularly faced with answerphone messages which were not responded to. We had one couple wanted to stay an extra night and could not raise anyone to make the booking. One couple had to cancel but could not get anyone to pick up the phone or respond to messages. If a manager/owner reads this, your excellent staff deserve better than this. They all worked so hard to make our stay so enjoyable but there jobs are at risk if you cannot sort out your customer contact services at the front end.

Went into the cafe for a coffee and fancied a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. But they had no ham apparently. So had a chicken, bacon and pesto toasted ciabatta. It was actually very nice with the side salad and crisps. That certainly filled me up in place of lunch. Coffee was nice as well. Restaurant was a bit chilly, but i think the heating was just getting going. Anyway i enjoyed what i had. But running out of ingredients such as ham, reduces the stars given.

Family group here for Saturday lunch. Staff look bored and would rather be elsewhere. Ordered quiche warm. Arrived stone cold. not really difficult to get wrong is it. Baked potato full of black bits. Fresh orange was warm, not even kept in the fridge. We have been coming here for years and it has deteriorated over the last few months. Will not return, Spend your money elsewhere.

This is a great coffee shop situated on a retail park. As it is on a retail park there is plenty of free parking. Like all cafe Nero’s it is dog friendly. It’s interesting to note that there is no data reception inside this coffee shop. It makes me wonder if Cafe Nero is trying to force customers to use their in-house WiFi and hand over personal information to do so which, of course, could be used for marketing purposes. Conspiracy theories aside this is an excellent coffee shop.

Ordered a takeaway, got there early so paid for food on card which was £69. Decided to have a pint while we waited, was told there is a minimum spend of £10 for cards. Reminded time we’ve just spend £69 on food, if it’s such an issue, refund me for the food, add on the drinks and then I’ll pay for it all together. Was told no, and that to spend under £10 there would be 50p surcharge. Firstly, Mastercard and Visa don’t allow merchants who use their services to set minimum spends so they’re going against the contracts they have signed with these businesses. Secondly, adding surcharges for not meeting a minimum spend is illegal. I didn’t have the drink, reported to tracing standards, won’t be going back. Food was average and overpriced anyway

Used to use all the time but they have really gone downhill, the food is bland with flavour, we had sweet and sour chicken and the chicken had a strange taste, it was not flavouring. The chips tasted like they had been cooked around 3 times or left out then cooked as they were very dry. Prawn crackers were very greasy and the pancake roll was running with grease. They don’t seem to have any consistency with their cooking anymore. We won’t be returning customers and I’ve heard a lot of other people are saying the same, there are much better places in Malvern with better quality and value. Sorry Maylink, it’s time you close all your doors.

Having waited in a long queue, on reaching service point was told "we are not doing any more hot food" at this time hot food was still being taken out to tables but at 1.30 someone obviously decided no more orders were being accepted, staffing levels were high at this time, families were arriving for lunch, there was no sign at the entrance stating there was no hot food to save you waiting in a long queue before you were told, when I queried the situation with the manageress she simply shrugged and said "apologies for that" in a very non apologetic manner.m As a family we will not be returning here and as a regular M&S customer feel that for some time now your cafe at the Malvern store has fallen way below your usual standards.
