Used to use all the time but they have really gone downhill, the food is bland with flavour, we had sweet and sour chicken and the chicken had a strange taste, it was not flavouring. The chips tasted like they had been cooked around 3 times or left out then cooked as they were very dry. Prawn crackers were very greasy and the pancake roll was running with grease. They don’t seem to have any consistency with their cooking anymore. We won’t be returning customers and I’ve heard a lot of other people are saying the same, there are much better places in Malvern with better quality and value. Sorry Maylink, it’s time you close all your doors.

Takeaway I used to use when I lived in the area but not only did they order me an extra dish (which I paid for thinking the prices were higher than expected), but the food was very mediocre and no soy sauce available to buy with a takeaway. Would not go there again.

What makes for an entirely reasonable takeaway is a slightly disappointing restaurant meal, but they actually had tables available so I can't complain. This is a step above a bog-standard Chinese takeaway as it's not just off-the-shelf sauces, but I didn't find any surprises here. Also the wine was impressively cheap, so a large group should be able to have a fun evening on a budget.

We had s take away ordered it at 7 pm it came at 8.30 it was cold we couldn't eat it , when you pay £15for take away you should as t least have it hot ,this is the the third one we have had cold now ,they should not be allowed to get away with this it's not on it was ordered from maylink Chinese Malvern

My husband has eaten here a couple of times and took me to try, the waitress was lovely friendly and food was excellent. Lovely evening

As above, ordered s and s chicken. When I got it home it was not what I ordered. There was some battered chicken and some red looking sauce, but it was egg fried rice and some monstrosity with an omlette on top. Tasted disgusting, so the whole thing went into the bin. Drove 10 miles as someone recommended the place. Thought they were my friend!! Without doubt, the worst Chinese I have ever had

i have not used Maylink for some time & i fancied Chinese so i managed to get through on the phone to place my order. What with the Covid 19 going on there are not many Take Aways open so i did have to wait which i was expecting. I decided on Sweet & Sour Chicken Cantonese, Honey King Prawns & Beef Chow Mien Fried Rice. he chicken on the sweet & sour was soft tender and tasted fresh The honey king prawns as always were a good size cooked perfectly and tasted excellent The Beef chow mien was delicious beef was tender chow mien tasted great & more importantly was NOT GREASY. I had a great mixture of food all cooked very nicely & at a very good price. I have read some of the other reviews which were not good, but i must say Maylink are operating in difficult times they are not going to please every one all the time but they do not deserve the bad reviews in my opinion. Its a great Chinese Take Away that has served us well.

Utterly revolting. Stuck for time this evening so picked up some food from here to save driving in to St Johns. Should have made the trip and should have read some other reviews first, note to self. I only wanted something easy so ordered a chicken curry, boiled rice and a pancake roll. Curry was lacking flavour other than a lot of salt. The chicken didn’t taste like it belonged in the sauce, tasted like it had been cooked before and heated through. Lacking in anything veg really too, so hard to pick through. Two forkfuls and I flushed the rest down the toilet (sorry no photo) Pancake roll was so greasy and the oil tasted old. Hungry so ate it. Time to hit the freezer I guess. First and last visit here.

A meal that is normally around the £15 mark cost us £23.70! Food was chewy and tasted of bleach which put us off finishing our food. Also asked the guy for BBQ sauce and got sweet and sour! Waste of time and money. The food went in the bin less than five minutes after opening it and we went to McDonald’s instead! I would strongly suggest people looking for a takeaway avoid this place! All round bad experience!

I have left reviews of Maylink before however i have not had a Meal from there for some time. So i decided on a Takeaway I had the Honey King Prawns these were plentiful Cooked perfectly & the sauce is so good one of my favorites. Then i had the Beef Chow mein, again perfect lots of slices of tender beef with noodles etc Really tasty dish. Also we had the Sweet & Sour Chicken the sweet & Sour Sauce is the best around & the chicken was tender coated in a light batter. Egg fried rice was nice as well not greasy or overcooked,,,Just perfect. And the Banana Fritters are superb. It was a great tasting take away cooked really well. & offering great value which is great to........

I’m really sorry to say that this is quite simply the worst most revolting food I have ever ordered. If it’s not swimming in grease and saturated in salt it tastes awful. Quite possibly the worst Chinese food. Sloppy, salty, greasy and far from authentic. On an up note it’s on your plate rather quick from point of order.

The food I received at May Link was very good, the prawns were delicious, the chowmein was delightful... the service however, was a disgrace. When I asked a question about the menu, The young scruffy man with blonde hair looked at me and my partner like we were stupid and just pointed at things with his grubby hands to answer my questions. This really antagonised me but I decided to keep my mouth shut because I was hungry and tired and just couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. Hopefully this message gets through to the owners of the chinese so they can rectify this issue of arrogance and rudeness. I will add the food is great. The service from this young man on this particular visit, was not.

Had a Maylink Takeaway Friday evening Decided on the Singapore Chow Mein i did ask for the slightly thicker noodles which they said was no trouble. Short wait then it was ready. It was very nice lots of meat & small prawns & the spice was "bang on", It was not greasy like a lot of Chinese Take Away's are. Truly one of the best tasting Singapore Chow Mein's ive had in ages. Maylink i will defiantly be using you again.....Thanks.......

First visit for me as my regular takeaway has changed hands and has gone down hill.it was recommended to me by a friend. Order was by phone, the person I spoke to was very pleasant. My order was taken all good. Told him I will collect at 5.15pm. I got there at 5pm and was served straight away. Good start. Food was very good service was very good. All round good choice. Keep up the good work may link. Thanks to all Adam.

My wife phoned for a takeaway to be delivered at 17-15, finally arrived at 19-30, it was fairly expensive and absolutely rubbish,we would never use them again!!!!!!!

The Chinese meal was of the highest quality. Delivery was swift and the food delivered hot. I have in the past been disappointed using Chinese Takeaways. However, I have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Maylink. If you taste it once you won’t go anywhere else.

Won’t deny that I stopped using this place a while ago as it went , in my opinion , downhill. BUT have used it a few times in last few months both for eat in and takeaway, and it’s been really good on all occasions. Good food and good value for money. Would highly recommend

Ordered 4 meals, all very nice and they even accommodated us as one of the meals wasn’t on their menu. Will use again next time we’re in Malvern.

Best Chinese I've found in Malvern as the others are very poor.. Good food, always hot.. Never really had any issues.

Been visiting maylink, formerly spring link, for most of my 48 years on the planet, but two weeks ago and again last night the chicken and mushroom curry has tasted really salty. I ate it out of pure bloody mindedness, as I'd paid for it and travelled home with it- but this morning my tongue and cheeks are sore. Will not bother visiting again, we thought two weeks ago was a blip but last night's was worse. Sorry Maylink, but Yuk!!!

4 of us dined at the Maylink on Saturday evening Yuk Sung for starters excellent & plenty of it tender pork crispy noodles fab flavour Also had the Satay Chicken & Prawn skewers again tasted superb Prawns excellent good size cooked perfectly as was the chicken. Mains we had Sizzling steak this was very good so tender & sauce was excellent lots of steak as well also Beef chow mein lots of meat in this dish & a big portion too. Sweet Sour Chicken wonderful chicken cooked perfectly lovley batter Sauce spot on Fortune king prawns also known as Honey Kink Prawns ....Perfection all the way there must have been 15 or so big juicy prawns in a sauce to die for & finally Lemon Chicken again superb with a large bowl of egg fried rice a few bottles of beer. The food is heaven. & what makes it even better is the superb service & cost.

Enjoyed a lovely meal with my family. The tables were well presented, the food was lovely and really generous servings. The waiter even let us keep our chop sticks so we can practise at home! Would highly recommend a visit.

Tuvimos otra comida para llevar Maylink el sábado por la noche. Llamamos nuestro pedido a través y fue entregado en 30 minutos pipping caliente. Chow mein elegimos llanura, huevo frito, arroz agridulce Langostinos Cantonesa Miel Langostinos, Hong Kong y salsa curry de pollo, un nuevo plato naranja pollo. Todos eran excelentes gambas, pollo cocinado perfectamente abundante Chow mein maravilloso como arroz. El tamaño de las porciones eran muy buenos. Hay no escatimaban en la cantidad de carne o gambas te sirven y que realmente gusto sabroso. El nuevo plato de pollo naranja" no parecen sabor de naranja, pero fue muy agradable sabor coco estaba presente muy agradable, aunque creo que puede haber dieron mezclado con otro plato! ! ! ! .

Decidimos tener una comida china y no apetece viajar muy lejos, por lo que pensamos que nos gustaría probar el restaurante Chino en enlace MayLink Malvern. Hemos tenido un montón de sitios pero no desde aquí realmente han probado el restaurante por un tiempo muy largo.

By far the best Chinese takeaway I've ever had and also old value! The honey king prawns are extremely tasty! The Hong Kong chicken is very good aswell. Highly recommend.

Tenía una llevar el miércoles en la noche pedimos 10 o así platos que vinieron todos plomos de gran calor y probado carne chow mien excelente así como gambas platos salsas pollo limón muy agradable gran todos los platos eran geniales y a un costo razonable. Sólo hay dos descendientes de restaurantes chinos/ventajas de Malvern, y las estrellas. Maylink El resto no se acercan,,

Went to this restaurant as was looking for somewhere to have our anniversary meal while we were at the Malvern spa hotel. We both enjoyed the food portion size was decent too. Food was very rich/sweet and tasty. Service was great and courteous.

La mayoría de la gente el vínculo puede llevar, pero como tiene un restaurante en la parte trasera, donde la comida es excepcionalmente buena y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Es muy tranquilo y sólo abre viernes y sábado por la noche, pero vale la pena intentarlo. La mejor Yuk Sung que hemos tenido!!

I really like this takeaway. Most of the food is really nice, although the foo yung tends to be very salty, so I avoid that now.A lot of people on here have mentioned the sweet and sour chicken. It's actually my favorite thing from this place. It's slices of battered chicken as opposed to actual ball shapes, but the chicken is so tender and the sauce is great.I'd give it five stars if the prices were slightly lower.

Ordered a set meal for three plus and half duck. Excellent food. The lady was very helpful and friendly and the food was ready at the time they said it would be. Very pleased.

In this day and age I am always shocked when free range eggs are not the norm; families buy them at home, but forget their principles when eating out. May link chinese were surprised when I asked whether their egg fried rice was from free range eggs.The food was tasteless and not worth the wait or the price. Do such places survive on poor quality customers that are there for the calories and not for the culinary delights?

I have had lots of take aways from here & 9/10 they are very good the cantonese chicken is very good as is the hong kong chicken ,,Oh and as previous posts the "Honey King Prawns" are superb .Its a shame they dont push the restaurant a bit more & get it on the map as it would be full most weekends i think , most of the time its empty yet the food is good...If it had a make over & some good waiters im sure it would do well......

One of the best takeaways in Malvern. I have tried many takeaways in malvern but this one is definitely the best. I had the Singapore Chow-Mien and it was lovely, great portion size enough to split between 2. We had a portion of Honey King Prawns. Would definitely recommend these, they go well with anything on the menu and is just a nice side to have. The service is always top class and delivery time is never a long wait. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to know where to get a good Chinese takeaway. Harry.

Family friendly and totally delicious food. Would highly recommend. If the restaurant isn't open, the take away is great too.

Ordered nos. A13, 37 and 79 and received 46 79 and 86. Received incorrectly Roast duck with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts, MEAT was grey and tasteless and sauce was very salty. Sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style looked like cheap, thinly- sliced breaded fried chicken. Rang to complain and they were not really interested... a lad said he would 'let them know' but didn't ask for a contact number. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK FOR ANOTHER TAKEAWAY !!!!!!Read the restaurant reviews and thought the takeaway would be comparable.... how wrong could I be !

Had a voucher for this place so found time to go and what an experience, nice pleasant restaurant, no pressure, lovely service, excellent food. well worth a visit and will be going back again.

The May Link Chinese Restaurant never fails to impress - we can't understand why it isn't fully booked every Friday and Saturday when the restaurant is open. We met up with my nephew and his girlfriend plus 2 other friends. We were so tempted just to go through the whole of the starter menu (and by the amount we ordered and demolished you would have thought we had!) but opted for main courses as well. As usual, perfectly presented and delicious.

we just poped in for tea and ended up staying 21/2 hours the food here is just mouth watering i had the cantonese fillet steak sizzling platter well i have never tasted anything quite like it it just melted in your mouth my wife had the oysters in ginger and spring onions which also looked and smelt amazing the staff were helpfull when dealing with my children who are fussy eaters but managed to get the kitchen to cook something plain for them drinks are reasonably priced the restaurant had 4 other tables dining when we arrived but was almost full when we left the service was fantastic as was the foodThis place has just got even better since i was last here back in april 2012 all in all a great night out !!!!!!!fantastic food fantastic service and reasonable prices and we had only just called in for tea but we will sure come back again

The take-away is open all week, but the restaurant is only open on Fridays and Saturdays. Every dish is freshly prepared by Martin and his family - the Lemon Chicken is to die for, as is the King Prawn Chow Mein. If you are in Malvern on a Friday or Saturday evening, it is well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.
