The menu was poor, their had been no changes since we stayed last year. My husband ordered the risotto, he didn't expect to have to pull sticks of heards out of his meal.

Checking out what would be local during the week with my son. Fabulous reception by owner, great pub for a drink! Actually quite refreshing to have a pub that just sells drinks too for a change! All the customers were in good spirits, hopefully will be my local, just have to keep fingers crossed!

Ordered two sausage with my breakfast. Got only one. Staff on the till need to pay attention to what we're ordering! Said it was her fault, she only put one down. "But you'll have to pay for it!" said she. Under the circumstances I should have been given the second. I've lost count of the number of times that meals in the Foley have not been what I asked for. Wet, soggy toast as usual, cold overcooked mushrooms. Poor, really.

Ordered a delivery. Large pizza thin crust. Delivery was fine and delivery person friendly so all good to this point. The pizza wa more crunchy than crispy. 13.5 inch and £26 delivered. I can’t believe that anyone can see this as value for money, I ordered through just eat as I was given a voucher. I would never order from dominos again. I was always curious as to why domino’s were still in business in Malvern as Hillside is next door and half the price. Hillside is our usual pizza place but not on just eat. The domino’s pizza was badly cut, poorly put together and like a Jacob’s cream cracker for a base. It was smaller than Hilside, not even half as good for twice the price. Maybe people are swayed by the brand name.

Arrived at Mayfly on 1/11/2024 , I was with a small group of friends out on a bike ride looking forward to visiting for the first time . We did a check before to find out serving times and so …… Joined a reasonable size Que as it was half term and to be expected now days at 11.40, thinking no problem for breakfast sandwiches which finish at 12 ….. The service was painfully slow with us getting to the till at 12.03 being told they had stopped serving breakfast !! You can imagine our joy plus the many people behind us …… MAYFLY … I’m sure this could have been done a lot better, with maybe one person telling you the situation as you join the Que … ???? After visiting many, and I really do mean many cafe’s in the area, this had to be the worse experience I’ve witnessed … A Return Visit ???????? Would you …. !

If you want your pizza burnt choose Malvern Kebab House. They don’t deal with complaints well if you have an issue. Chips are always cold and like chewing cardboard. Frequently missing items from your order and they couldn’t give a damn frankly. Choose somewhere else for your food.

Not really much improvement from my last visit; some tables still need clearing, but meal was quicker than I expected. Although tea and coffee is help-yourself from the side machines along with cutlery/napkins/salt+pepper, they bring out sauce when the meal arrives, so it's clear they're trying to stick to a budget and saving where they can. For a small bite and a place to use WiFi for a quick bit of work, it did the trick... but meals aren't anything great.
