The best restaurants in Sutton Four Oaks Birmingham West Midlands

I have just made a lovely discovery. There is now a 'shed' outside the Harvest Fields Centre which sells drinks and the most amazing cakes and savoury pastries. There are tables and chairs outside too. Dog walkers, like myself, can now stop and have some refreshments. They even sell dog treats. The staff are really lovely. A wonderful idea - hope it continues throughout the autumn and beyond.

Place looks recently refurbished, got a takeaway for collection. Ordered lamb karahi medium hot and paneer sagwala hot. Lamb was chewy and tough, not soft and still some gristle on it as well. It had a bit of flavour, not the best and wouldn't have again, although not the worst I've tried in Sutton, elsewhere holds that title. The aubergine pakora was appalling, it arrived absolutely drenched in oil, so much that there was a collection of oil in the bottom of the takeaway foil, disgusting. Raita was quite literally plain yoghurt with cucumber and onion thrown on top, zero flavour. The paneer dish, was made spicy like asked but still didn't taste very good. Avoid. Perks - free poppadoms and salad, 20% off collection.

Awful customer service, do not recommend. Very rude and un-accommodating for small groups, they obviously have a strong preference over large groups.

Went Friday evening for the first time. It's so lovely in there, and the food,staff, service, all brilliant!! Thanks Team Olive Garden ,definitely see you soon!!

A great place to meet friends for lunch or a cuppa! Lovely welcoming staff & fabulous homemade cakes & lunch choices! Good value too! My toastie was delicious & one of the best skinny cappuccino’s in Sutton !

Awful. Do not book a table here. I booked a table for 9 people for my partner’s birthday well in advance. Family travelled for an hour to come. We have just arrived and it is closed. Outrageous!!!!

Cracking little ale pub. Now I've found it, shall be a regular visitor. Not much to look at from the outside but a cosy place on the inside

Fantastic time, great food portions were huge but delicious and ambience was warm and toasty near the wood burner. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her 83 birthday except for the singing but that’s down to the fact none of us can sing. Thank you definitely visiting again

I am a frequent customer to your store with my husband and daughter I am writing to explain my gratitude towards the staff. Always friendly and helpful However, I just want to make sure the young man there gets the praise the most! He is always whizzing around to make sure the tables are clear and kept on top off- I’ve mever see any of the other staff be as fast and careful and frequent as him, I believe he is the one who keeps the store tidy in that sense. Even when he is serving he is fast and efficient and we are hardly in the queue for long. Although the other staff are good, some of them are really slow and it often feels like I am in the queue forever and when they do serve me they have an attitude or are very slow! There is no place for this in customer service jobs and it just feels rude. I have also noticed that the place is a shambles when there are certain people working, something which I notice as i am a frequent customer Despite this, I will keep returning because I like the coffee, but I do believe that the young man is a true support and his being there is an absolute credit to the store and I think he may be a little undervalued. That being said I do appreciate the girls also but some of them need give the young man a break and step up!!

Message for JustEat - the delivery was 6 hours late! I can’t blame driver since he was assigned late for this delivery. Next time JustEat should check if there are any drivers in the first place. 6 hours delay is not normal

Go here when I visit my mom place has gone down a little since covid but still good food but look like it could do with some new decoration and get rid of the chair at the till as it just looks a mess

Chocolate powder spilled over the sandwich and tray, with no apologies. Christmas Eve is not the best time to visit Costa! 😓
