Harvest Fields Centre in Birmingham

I have just made a lovely discovery. There is now a 'shed' outside the Harvest Fields Centre which sells drinks and the most amazing cakes and savoury pastries. There are tables and chairs outside too. Dog walkers, like myself, can now stop and have some refreshments. They even sell dog treats. The staff are really lovely. A wonderful idea - hope it continues throughout the autumn and beyond.

A very good friend and I booked an afternoon tea at the lovely Harvest Fields Community Centre. We certainly were not disappointed. Beautifully laid out tables and chairs and lovely crockery. Extremely friendly staff who attended to our every need. Earl grey or English breakfast tea so we chose a pot of Earl Grey. Came in a lovely tea pot steaming hot. We were bowled over when the afternoon tea arrived. Delicious variety of finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and a fabulous assortment of cakes, tarts and macarons. The food was exceptional. One of the best afternoon teas i’ve had. Nothing at all to fault from start to finish. Value for money as well. Will definitely be partaking again very soon.

We went to Harvest Fields for afternoon tea (offered every Friday term time) and it was absolutely delightful! So much so that we immediately booked for the following Friday. It’s a beautiful setting with floor to ceiling windows so it’s light and airy and there is a lovely view of the park. There is piano music playing in the background to make it extra peaceful. We had a nut allergy in our party and they went above and beyond expectations to provide a nut free afternoon tea which I understand was quite a challenge as everything has ‘trace’ in it! I would wholeheartedly recommend Harvest Fields for a relaxed afternoon tea with family & friends. Thank you to the hard working staff for being so friendly and accommodating.
